41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest in BTC, Altcoin, or ICO on: May 18, 2018, 09:40:54 AM
Your first choice of investment should always be to invest in bitcoin. Once you have bitcoin then you can start looking at other coins in the market that you want to invest in. Altcoins are still a good and viable way to make a lot of money from your investments. And with ICOs you have to be more careful than the others so you do not end up falling for one of the many ICO scams out there.
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: KYC of bounty hunters on: May 16, 2018, 09:53:32 PM
KYC is impossible at this moment for bounties because of the nature of them... for example some have 400+ members and if this was true tey would need to offer much more payment to accomodate for the hassle to upload ID verification and such and it's a big ordeal many people would stop using this forum because it would be too annoying not to mention the lack of privacy.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 150 ETH OR 9.5 BTC? on: May 16, 2018, 07:54:26 PM
I would take the ETH because according to my caltulations it's worth more than 9.5 Bitcoins right now. That's the only reason. Then I would sell it and convert it right back into Bitcoins and have more than 9.5 BTCs. I'm a genius!  Grin Roll Eyes
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We do not need government and bank any more on: May 15, 2018, 11:58:24 AM
Grin Okay this is laughable. And what makes you think that we do not need banks and governments anymore? Because you happen to have a couple of cryptocurrencies in your wallet now you believe that you do not need two of the most important institutions in the society? Don't kid yourself please, no matter how much cryptos grow, there will always be the need for governments and banks.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What coins will you buy during this dip ? on: May 14, 2018, 12:54:53 PM
On any dip the coins that I buy have always been the top and best coins, bitcoin and ethereum always tops that list. There are some other altcoins but I only look into buying them after I feel that I have bought enough bitcoins and ethereum. There really isn't a better project to put your money into out there so that is what I will keep buying until a better project comes along.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: More and more airdrop is a lie, on: May 14, 2018, 12:34:31 PM
A lot of airdrops are not good and you should not be bothering yourself with airdrops when there are a lot of bounty and signature campaigns out there. It is not like you even get a good number of coins or a good value anyway. What you usually end up with is a couple of dollars of coins which is not a lot. You can get a lot more from bounties. A lot of airdrops are scams.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH worth buying now or wait? on: May 13, 2018, 12:44:31 PM
Looks to me like a good price to get in on. If you missed the last massive dip that saw ethereum below $400 then this is also a good time for you to buy into the market and get yourself some coins. There is no doubt that ethereum will do a lot of good in the long run and that would help you make a lot of money. You should buy now to avoid panic buying when the price starts going up.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about NEO on: May 10, 2018, 01:07:12 PM
I think that NEO is a coin with a lot of potential but that is only if the team of developers that are working on the coin make sure that they keep coming up with new ways to keep the coin going and to stand up to whatever competition might arise from it. There is a lot of room for growth and if they take the opportunity to make it a better coin then the sky will be the stepping stone.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Low prices, are you excited about the situation? on: May 10, 2018, 12:59:28 PM
When I see low prices in the market, i do get excited because although the value of the coins that I am currently holding might be dropping I also realize that a low market is the best opportunity for me to buy even more coins so I can make money from them in the long run and I hold them along with my other coins, I am patiently waiting for the price to dip again so I can buy more coins.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do we need to diversify? on: May 10, 2018, 12:47:43 PM
Absolutely. Putting all of your money in a single place is way too much of a risky venture and if it does so happen that the coin that you are putting your money in ends up failing then that means that all your money will be gone. Which is why it is good to diversify and invest in different coins so if it does happen that one coin ends up failing then you have another to fall back on.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO Is Really A Good Investment or Not? on: May 09, 2018, 12:22:40 PM
Nowadays a lot of people will like to argue that ICOs you are no longer good investmenst to put your money into because there are now a lot of scams out there. I agree with this but I also agree with the fact that despite so many scam coins being in the market right now there are still some projects that are very good to invest in with good coins that will last a while so you just have to find the right coins to put your money into.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC at end of bounty campaign on: May 08, 2018, 06:59:25 PM
It would definitely be a better service to the bounty hunters if Know your customer was announced at the beginning of a campaign that it will be a requirement to claim your tokens because if someone finishes a bounty and then they find out at the end that they need to do KYC to claim their reward then that would just be lying on the part of the project managers
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you sell right away or wait? on: May 08, 2018, 06:45:33 PM
Actually I am more fond of waiting for the coins to hit the exchanges properly and I let them spend some time in the market and on the exchanges that they are on because once trading begins and hopefully the coin gets pumped then I end up making a lot of money from my coins. I've always been a long term holder so I guess that could be the reason why I hold.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins that might survive in the future? on: May 08, 2018, 06:24:48 PM
The altcoins will the most possibility to survive in the future will be the top altcoins in the market now. In time altcoins that have no use or value in the real world will start dying out and only those that can be used as a legitimate way of carrying out transactions and be used as a currency will survive. That is why when investing in altcoins, you should just stick to the top five
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think this year will be Red? on: May 07, 2018, 11:53:53 AM
This year so far has actually been a mixture of red and green at different points and at this point we are in a green market although prices are dropping quite quickly now so I think that is the trend that we will follow all year until the next bull market rolls around. After this recovery we are all going to see a decrease in prices and the market will actually go red again.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum will reach $ 15000 in this year. on: May 06, 2018, 09:04:43 AM
Ok no one here is disputing the fact that ethereum is such a great project and that the possibilities are endless but $15000 by the end of this year is quite a stretch. It is not even back to $1000 yet and it is still struggling just like other coins in the market. There is no way that ethereum will hit such a high price this year, it will happen but maybe in a couple of years.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest in BTC, Altcoin, or ICO on: May 05, 2018, 07:35:48 AM
You should diversify is more like the answer here because it is never wise to put all of your money into a single place. Start by investing in bitcoin as that is the first cryptocurrency your money should go into. Then get some altcoins, some really good altcoins which you can hold for the long term and finally, start looking at ICOs to start investing in.
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to know which coins are good? on: May 03, 2018, 07:24:08 AM
Mostly by reading their whitepaper and being on their websites and social media pages you can get a good idea whether a coin is legit or if it is a scam. Usually these scam coins have nothing to offer with their coins and their coins cannot be used for anything outside of trading and they cannot be used as a currency. Also follow the developers and see what they are working on.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can I hold my altcoin for years in my wallet? on: May 02, 2018, 09:53:31 AM
You have no problem holding your coins in your wallet for years, just make sure that you have properly secured your wallet and taken all measures to prevent against a hack and since you are holding for years at a time anyway then it would be in your best interest to invest in a hardware wallet to store your coins for the long run as it is much safer than online wallets
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Be patient for your profit on: April 29, 2018, 08:55:42 AM
For the people who are new to the market and bought in at the height of the last bull market, i understand that patience is not the easiest thing for them since now all they are seeing are losses as the value of their coins depreciate daily but it is fact that if you wish to make money in the long term from the market then you would have to be patient for the prices to go back up.
