Any other exchange dealing with BTF?

On BTCtrade.im the price is too low, it ain't even worthed digging the coins out. Also I am surly not going to be sending my personal documents to some shitty Chinese exchange.

Edit: I see BTF being traded on gate.io for the decent price but the deposits are still not enabled!

btctrade.im has Bitcoin World, Bitcoin Faith, Fast Bitcoin, Lightning Bitcoin and Quantum Bitcoin as well as SBTC, UBTC, BCX, BCD

And all of these can be deposited?

Any way we can get these @walleting.services?

I took a look at his exchange.

Lightning Bitcoin is worth the most, 0.01 BTCs per 1 LBTC but you can't deposit, can't generate an address.

Quantum Bitcoin 0.007 BTCs per 1 QBTC but you can't deposit either.

Fast Bitcoin only 0.002 BTCs per 1 FBTC and it can be deposited.

Bitcoin Fast worth nothing 0.000328 BTCs and it can be deposited.

Bitcoin World worth 0.001 BTCs per 10000 BTW (what you get per 1BTC held at the fork time) and it can be deposited.

I did my best, someone might double check these numbers.

All this above if this exchange is not a complete scam and pays out withdrawals, I have never heard of it, it seems it's in China.

And one last thing, for my country in order to withdraw, you must submit your passport for verification which is a bit drawback for me. I mean I am not talking about Kraken or Bitstamp to send documents to but to some God knows where and which exchange to send my personal info and all of this for some change.

Edit: They need your passport scanned and a selfie with the date and a signature. Insane if you are asking me!

So far I am very satisfied with the service. I have managed to dig out my UBTC last night, even though I haven't claimed them until January 3rd as we were supposed to. I did the same for BCX but they still haven't been sent to my address. I guess that BCX server might still not be synced. Hope this will be done soon as well.

After I receive my BCX, I will revise my feedback, but so far I am very satisfied and this service is a go!

I have received my BCX as well. Even though we had some issues with recovering my BCX, I have seen good faith and honesty of the people running the service.

I highly recommend to anyone that wants to recover their forked coins

Have all the answers missed my initial post that I am using Trezor hardware wallet with Electrum? How can I even set up an Electrum password if I am using it with Trezor?

I already have a Trezor password that I type in every time I connect it to the Electrum.

You are safe because the Trezor holds your seed, not Electrum. That is the whole point of using a hardware wallet, it signs the transactions and that cannot be done from the PC or other devices you connect it to. However, it is possible that the exploit could be used to compromise your privacy so you should still upgrade.

Problem number 2 is that I would update Electrum wallet but I generally don't like updating, especially when I have 4 threats detected by scanning it on the VirusTotal. Yes, 4 threats on the newest Electrum 3.0.5

This could be a false positive from VirusTotal or you may have downloaded from a phishing site, not the genuine https://electrum.org/#download
Always verify the signature before installing.

Finally thanks for the answer!

I just read about this here:

Can someone inform me should I worry if I am using Electrum with a Trezor?

Thanks

How to change my phone number that has been verified for my bitpanda account and is this even possible? I see no option on the platform. Do I have to write to the support?

Thanks

53  Economy / Service Discussion / Another attack on TREZOR! on: August 19, 2017, 11:07:01 AM
Here is yet another attack on Trezor hardware wallet!

https://medium.com/@Zero404Cool/frozen-trezor-data-remanence-attacks-de4d70c9ee8c

It's quite obvious now that the people writing thee accusations are full of BS, but it would be interesting to know what is fueling these writings? What is their goal behind this?
54  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Trezor security glitch on: August 17, 2017, 02:10:39 PM
So don't take your trezor with you to areas where you have to hand it over? Sounds like a non issue for most.

This is not the point! I really hope these are all FUDs and that Trezor is still very safe. If you can't take a Trezor out with you in order to not be lost, half of the point of owning Trezor goes down the drain immediately. Owning Trezor gave me a piece of mind when it comes to stuff like this, and if this peace of mind is no longer here, you guess.

Not to mention that as we get more and more adoption, ways to steal your coins will evolve just like people are stealing regular wallets today in subways, etc..

These are very serious allegations that need to be sorted out and explained.

Does anyone know is Ledger Nano S in the same possible boat?

Hey Twin,

I have sold some BTCs by using SEPA transfer option on Bitpanda. When will it be processed? I can't find anywhere processing times for orders. Will I receive SEPA in my bank account tomorrow? I do hope so as I need money kinda urgently.

Thanks a lot!

Hello zoza14,

Regards

Please do so Twin. Please send it out first thing in the morning. I know you are a straight up guy and that everything will be fine and done quickly, I know you from my days in NXT, from the beginning really.

Thanks a lot!

This is his main account.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=235528

Someone who tells you he made 1650 pips on UJ in a day is either the biggest liar or one of the biggest private trading funds.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1664883.msg17101076#msg17101076

I know that guy, its not ForexTrader.

He didn't make 1650 pips, the app he used was off by a factor of 1/10. So it was only 165 pips.

I told people in the beginning that its most likely a scam, nobody listened.
Then why did that guy give his account to the scammer and scammer posted from that account? Smiley

Regarding pips, I'm aware of how pips work and the difference on UJ pair. But he didn't, so he just posted w/e he posted.

I am one of the members from the group. I did lose some money as well with him. Then I decided to pull out the plug while I saw that the others continued. I must say that I have doubted that mxhwr is connected to his profile and that this might be the same guy or working with him. This guy mxhwr was just too optimistic on slack, I mean overly optimistic even when everyone started raising voice over huge loses. That just wasn't adding up to me. Also, he was reporting insane gains, I mean 1000 dollars a day. Something was just fishy there.

On the other side when I decided enough is enough, I did ask theforextrader would he reimburse my 150 if I decide to leave the group. He did gave back 2/3 or 100 dollars back to me from the fee.

In conclusion, I wouldn't say he was a 100 percent bad guy. Either he was really in a bad streak but knew what he was doing, or he was just copying some others signals and didn't know a thing about the forex trading, so that worked until it worked.

At least this above is my sentiment about all of the situation.

P.S. On slack he was very patient. He would always be there to answer any questions, take his time with gazillion of beginners, nonsense questions that guys in the group would ask him. I mean he was really trying to make everything work.

Now when I am thinking some more about it, he might have just ran into a very bad streak.
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: March 24, 2017, 10:52:54 PM
crazyyyy $, cool to see.  eth is still a huge overvalued turd though LOL

When it is $100, what do you say?
that it will only happen when btc is dead. Btc will always be n1 marketcap. Ehthereum isnt a currency or a store of value. Its a token. Nothing more. Ethereum project seems to be a great platform but i dont know why it should have a token. Also beware that ethereum is now heavily pumped because of bitcoin's fork fud and microsoft hype. Buying ether now is a risky investment. Microsoft backed so many companies and not many are left to tell the tale. Make no mistake. Ethereum is centralized and that means that buterin can do anything he like to do. Do you trust your whole investment in the hands of 1 stranger? I should think twice at least. Ethereum is currently on a HUGE pump. We all know what happens with those pumps. See you back at 20$. Stick with bitcoin guys, bitcoin is more likely to go up from the bottom than ethereum pumping till it bursts.

That's why I have decided to hold both a year ago. Fuck it, let bitcoin tears itself apart over the power and politics. I am tired of all of this block size drama, very tired.

My only concern is a total supply of Ethereum. If it gets capped at around 100 million as devs are giving signals it will happen, I think that Ethereum can be everything. A smart contracts platform, a store of value, currency, etc.

I repeat. Tired of all the drama in BTC world, to that point that I don't even care anymore will I lose half of my initial investment (I have invested half of my money into Eth, half into BTC).
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: March 18, 2017, 03:34:59 PM
how much mining will continue? 90 mil, 100 mil, or 10 bill?

No sure answer yet, but everything that we know so far and what was heard through the grapevine, I am almost sure the cap will be around 100 million coins, with a very small yearly inflation or no inflation whatsoever.

This 100 million number should coincide with the POW to POS change.

Exciting times ahead!

What is also important is how long you have before you retire.
If your retirement is 25-30 years away, 21 BTC might be more than sufficient.  Smiley

I got easily 30 years! Smiley But I think this is too much time time for Bitcoin. 10 years will suffice! Smiley
