41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: AN OVERVIEW OF GAMING PROJECTS. on: December 03, 2023, 06:55:02 PM
Being a staunch enthusiast of the gaming crypto ecosystem, I'm often inclined to new gaming projects with good usecases and tokenomics. Personally, I feel they've perceived potential for considerable growth. I've been doing some research and I feel I must have missed out on a few. Please, if you've any on your radar, do well to recommend so I can add to my watchlist, Thanks.

You claimed you have looked into some of these Games, but you failed to list those you have on your radar but looking for new ones, if you want to do your research on Gamefi bucket I will advise you go to Coinmarketcap or Coingecko, click the category button and click the Gamefi buttons so many under the radar projects, look for those that the team is still active and work on releasing updates on their projects or those that received huge VC money then but are currently undervalued below their ICO price.
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing altcoins now or during halving? on: December 03, 2023, 06:28:14 PM
We are not likely to see any major correction until January 10 when the decision of BTC EFT would be decided, after this correction the market would pump for the coming BTC halving after BTC halving event, I believe ALtcoins would have their day. This time is for buying and hold because we haven't seen any euphoria in the market yet, that will come when the market breaks the $3 Trillion previous ATH
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cristiano Ronaldo get 1 billion dollars lawsuit for his NFT failure on: December 03, 2023, 06:24:48 PM
I don't know what these guys stand to gain in this frivolous lawsuits, I believe there must have been terms and conditions signed before buying the NFT and this is a very volatile market, just imagine if the price had gone up would they be suing him, no they would all rejoice, since price is relative they price is currently around $1, who tells you it can't move up to $100 within a month. I bought Trump 2 NFT, and it dumps after the sale but when back to $100 again.
44  Economy / Economics / Re: New business idea. on: December 01, 2023, 03:26:34 PM
I would have posted this thread on my local board (Nigerian local board) but I didn't because both Nigerians and other countries can still benefit from this little business idea.
The kind of business I want to share is what is called graundnut oil making. This business idea can help someone that doesn't even have a skill and someone that is not even educated, all the person just needs to have is the money to buy the manufacturing equipment that's all.
With this graundnut oil making business, one can get the kind of life he/she wanted because the demands in this graundnut oil making business are a bit high. One can even start with a little money. However, this business is also an investment. If one can dedicate more time to it, he/she can benefit from it (can make it a company).

this information shows how the demands of the graundnut oil is in my country today is.
You can also watch a little on how to manufacture the graundnut oil, I can even invest more if I have this business and start making more money, so what are your takes in this idea?

If you do not have huge capital, please don't go into this business, the profit margin is small. I have first-hand information, I am into farming, over 50 acres of land under cultivation and do plant groundnut and I understand the economics. Agriculture in Nigeria is a very difficult space to operate and if you are used to free money from Crypto, you are just waiting your time, so many factors contributed to these, the one hurting farmers most is the cost of the inputs (Herbicides price has increased over 100% within a year) how can you have a profitable business when the rate of inflation is so high, it eats into your profit margin
45  Economy / Economics / Re: Goverments must have good plan very soon on: December 01, 2023, 03:18:02 PM

I wait airdrop of money for each people AT least 2000-3000$ without working ubi income

This is why you guys will remain in perpetual poverty, the plan of these corrupt government people is to keep you poor perpetual, so that when they come every 4 years to give you handouts you will think they are doing you favour again, this is the tool they have been using in most of these poor countries especially in Africa, just look at what these corrupt people turned Argentina to, a very strong economy was run to the ground, they come to give you bag of rice when they are sitting on your common wealth, I don't want free stuff, what I want is a conducive environment where my business can thrive.
46  Economy / Economics / Re: When the world is evolving, follow the trend. on: December 01, 2023, 03:08:36 PM
The world is changing, but the fundamentals remain the same, as knowledge increases so we come about new discoveries, but what powers these new discoveries is still the raw materials in the earth, a lot has been said about Russian economy and people talk about the Oligarchies, where do people think they make their money from? Raw materials and these are what the Russian economy is based on, not that they do not have robust IT group, they do but the IT guys in the West have achieved Celebrity status and thanks to the stock market and most people think this is the only way to make money. Just look at the fight for rare earth metals between the United States and China, these are raw materials and the demand for them is going to keep increasing. The more things change, the more they remain the same.
47  Economy / Economics / Re: The power of investment choices on: December 01, 2023, 02:58:27 PM
What most people in this place do is gambling, there must be a reason why you decided that you want to put your money in these tokens, but most people just buy because they saw the ticker on Twitter and is being shilled hard by influencers. What I do mostly is to invest in people, you need to confirm the team has the technical capacity to deliver on their project, then you look at trend, this bull run in my opinion is going to be driven by some few buckets of investments  AI, gamefi, and L2 are going to be at the forefront, these 3 are my long term play
48  Economy / Economics / Re: You are the product. Corporations spying on us deeper than we thought? on: November 27, 2023, 06:36:48 PM
Ok, everybody knows we are being spied on by the corporations like Google, Meta, Microsoft etc. That's a pretty well-known fact and is generally accepted by the public. However, I started noticing some alarming facts recently: I am being offered stuff I mention while I'm on the phone. Then, I noticed they're offering stuff I mention while chatting with my family while the phone is located somewhere in the room.

Finally, what's really scary, today I was talking to someone (while my phone was nearby) regarding a car key. I started using my phone a bit later and I was shocked to find out there's an ad containing the very same Merc key we were discussing and I was holding in my hands! Then suddenly I realized this is not the first time something like that happens. Which means that the phone is listening? (recording?) to our conversations and possibly also filming the whole thing?

Can we discuss it? Perhaps I'm overreacting or being paranoid and there's a simple explanation for this?  Roll Eyes

This is so true, few weeks ago I went to price a Monopoly board game and that evening I started seeing Monopoly game ads on my phones, that is when I realized the big brother issue is so much true, they monitor everything about you, then I was thinking I need to get phones that are not internet enabled as my private phone and used the other ones for internet communication and also there is need to start using VPNs, if you can get one that is really secured because some of these VPNs are there to collect your data and sell, the world is really going crazy
49  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is it difficult for people to get capital easily? on: November 27, 2023, 06:31:37 PM
The issue with getting capital is that most people are bad with it, and if your credit score is bad, who will lend you this money. I know of some guys here, that keep borrowing to use the new debt to pay up former ones, instead of using the money for business. Not everyone is meant to be an entrepreneur and for every one successful business, ten such businesses must have failed so the odd of small businesses defaulting on their loans is very high
50  Economy / Economics / Re: strange indicators to know economy is bad on: November 27, 2023, 05:44:32 PM
I don't think anyone needs to tell me that the economy is bad when your purchasing power stop dropping, the irony of the matter is that the price of goods would increase more than 100% and the economist would be telling you that the inflation is just 20%, here in my country price of most good s have increased more than 100% in the last 1 year, and you still read that the inflation is 20%, I think we are in a strange world
51  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you believe Technical Analysis? on: November 26, 2023, 06:44:14 PM
Technical analysis works perfectly well, it just depends on the user how he or she implements the information. Most people are not disciplined to allow most of these analyses to play out, and they will come and say it doesn't work, another thing is the time frame chosen, if you don't pick the right time frame you will be shaken out of the market at every price movement, so get disciplined and stick to your plan
52  Economy / Economics / Re: World changing and those who don't adopt this Will stay poor on: November 26, 2023, 06:34:36 PM
The world is changing, agreed, but not the way you presented. In my own opinion, CBDC will fail. Look at what happens in Nigeria, no one was using it and was later closed. How I feel the world will change is the disruption that AI will cause in the coming years, even the way we invest is going to be different. CBDC is a totalitarian tool and people will rise up and defend their right
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tether publishes transaparency report daily, why is it suspicious stablecoin? on: November 26, 2023, 05:56:55 PM
I think Tether team needs to stop this self reporting and allow a third party auditor to do their independent job and audit their account. I have been defending Tether for so long but with all that had happened in the past, we can trust anyone in the space again without any form of verification. To my surprise, they still claim on their website that All Tether tokens are pegged at 1-to-1 with a matching fiat currency and are backed 100% by tether’s reserves. The value of our reserves is published daily and updated at least once per day.. If this is true, what are they scared of.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How many of These price tragets are realistically possible in 2025 ? on: November 26, 2023, 05:51:36 PM
How many of These price tragets are realistically possible in 2025 ?

Bitcoin (BTC) : $150,000 Ethereum (ETH) : $12,000   BNB (BNB)  : $1,500 XRP (XRP) : $7    Solana (SOL) : $500

Cardano (ADA) : $9     Dogecoin (DOGE) : $3     Polkadot (DOT): $200 Polygon (MATIC) : $10

The only feasible and realistic target from the list is BNB, BNB has been bartered a lot because of the coordinated FUD it suffered from some of these stupid and bought influential in the space and if the price is still less than $250 with all the attacks then for me, it is a good buy, with all the recent pumps, it is only BNB tokens that have not really pumped, if Binance as an exchange still remain number one then $1500 to me is very realistic
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TRC20 or BEP20? on: November 26, 2023, 05:44:08 PM
I prefer BEP20, Binance chain is still more secured than Tron network, also there is likelihood of fund recovery with Binance chain than Tron. The issue I have with Tron network is that it is a one-man show, nobody is building on the chain, people only use it to move stable coins around because it is cheaper and faster to use, but the security of the chain is still shaky with recent hacks being reported
56  Economy / Economics / Re: if you think 18k btc is low wait until autumn ... on: November 25, 2023, 08:12:22 PM
It would be very difficult to find any black swain, even that will crash the price of Bitcoin to $1k again. I believe most of the Bitcoins now have moved to the whales and strong hands' hand now, a very good example is the recent Binance fine, before the market would have crashed, taken $4 billion out of the market just like that is not small money.
57  Economy / Economics / Re: "I saw my salary on a bottle of perfume today" on: November 25, 2023, 08:03:59 PM
People need to be contended with what they have now, not saying they should not be ambitious, no, you need to be at least an ambitious people, but the issue is that when you reach a level, some cars go for $40k while some goes for $1 million, you need to cut your cloth according to your size and stop looking at these luxurious goods, build your own wealth and all these things you think are extensive will become cheap to you.
58  Economy / Economics / Re: Economists advise caution in trading in Bitcoin currency on: November 25, 2023, 07:52:16 PM
I don't think anyone should take these people serious again, when it comes to Bitcoin adoption; we have left the level of denial and reach the level of if you can't beat them then join them, if there is any issue with Bitcoin they all these big moneys won't be filing for ETF up and down and most people believe it is just a matter of when the Bitcoin ETF is approved, you don't want to miss this golden opportunity to be part of this big moment
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchanges being attacked in the verge of BTC ETF on: November 23, 2023, 06:50:08 PM
I have a feeling the attack on Binance is from the US Government, especially the role CZ played in the collapse of FTX last year, SBF was one of the major donor to the Democrat and for you to think CZ do not step on the wrong foot is understatement, the attack has been coming for years now, and I believe CZ did the right thing by stepping down and putting his exchange first, if it is true that CZ owns 80% of Binance then he is set for life not to talk of the investment they made in other crypto related businesses, he is by far one of the richest ugy in the world
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What altcoins do you think are currently still cheap but have good potential for on: November 23, 2023, 06:05:07 PM
For this bull run, I will advise you buy new tokens just coming to the market, the potential for good run is high, reason being that there are no bag holders and people believe in the team that they will deliver on their promises, AI projects are another categories to look into, the surrounding hype is building, and it will reach a new level in this bull run, AI tokens will likely be the L1 of this bull market
