42  Other / Off-topic / Re: [POLL] Do You Smoke ? on: October 25, 2016, 08:03:56 PM
I gave up last year after 22 years. To aid with stopping, every time I wanted a ciggie - I substituted by eating some food, of course I initially put on some weight, but soon lost it and am now smoke free  Cool

To generate your own QR code, use http://bitcoinqrcode.org/ and enter your BTC address, you can also then upload to imgur for ease of access and further use.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Predicted Price of dogecoin? on: October 25, 2016, 02:59:24 PM
DOGE can be fairly predictable over the longer term. It will wander it's way down to around 30 sats or below. Then rocket ship up near 100. The shibes get stoked for the moon....

Rinse and repeat.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BLK the next 10X on: October 25, 2016, 02:49:53 PM
BLK is one of those coins I always hope will do something, but I seem to be always left hoping.
46  Other / Off-topic / Re: Epic Electronic Music on: October 24, 2016, 10:48:36 PM
Do you know any electronic musicians who make very epic songs? Something you would as a soundtrack for a war movie or videogame?

I know only Arditi playing something very epic:

Now I am searching something more melodic, a sort of Manowar of electronic music...

Give this a shot

47  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you use a bot for trading? on: October 24, 2016, 10:42:36 PM
Sometimes using a ping pong bot on the higher volume alt coin days when the spread opens up can be profitable. But I tend to do my trades manually still.
48  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When do you think is a good time to start trading ? on: October 24, 2016, 10:27:23 PM
i think the present time is still good for trading as the price of bitcoin is still trading in reasonable price therefore if some one is still interested he can play gambling.
We could say that any time will always be a good time to begin trading as long as you have what it takes, the skill, knowledge and perseverance needed to succeed in such an industry.
i agree with you that you can start trade anytime because all time is good for trade if you are expert in trade and you are right that if you want to make a huge profit from trade you will need a good skill and knowledge about trade.

Anytime is the right time, but before you do anything for real you just have to watch and learn the trends for a little bit.
49  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you do when you're sad? on: October 22, 2016, 09:34:49 PM
Shiny things, unless I do not have shiny coins to buy the shiny things with, then I am double sad.
50  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is why Bitcoin P2P lending is dead. on: October 22, 2016, 09:17:56 PM
Nobody takes loans without collateral seriously anymore, the risk is just too great even with a market being present but people not ready to repay is just too much of the total people taking loans, You can't do anything with there documents anyway if you can't sue them..

Yes you are right. The collection of documents is useless and pointless. Don't know what these loan sites are thinking.

On top all that, it's not too hard to fake a lot of the required documents. Collateral or nothing.

Paper wallets you can print yourself, loaded physical coins you can buy and even at a premium paper wallets. Of course the safest and most secure way is to do yourself quite easily.
55  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S5: 1155GH(+OverClock Potential), In Stock $0.319/GH & 0.51W/GH on: October 12, 2016, 07:12:41 PM
It could be the control but probably the hash PCB gone bad.  what country are you located in?

S5 parts can be purchased from https://www.bitmainwarranty.com

if it was ebay purchase, may be easier to send it back and ask paypal for refund

it looks like one of my S5 has a problem...
Chain#.......ASIC#......Frequency...Temp...ASIC status
1................30...............350..........0......------ -------- -------- --------
2................30...............350.........40.....oooooo oooooooo oooooooo oooooooo

I restarted it after a few month of rest...

I swapped PSU for a known good one.... not to avail....

SAme problem @freq 275...

I have just bought an S5 off of ebay, it hashes on both cards for about 5 minutes then they both drop off to 0, I have swapped the ribbon cabels to the cards, and swapped the cards around - I have two 1300 Watt EVGA power supplies and have tried both with the same end results - I can only think the controller / beagle board is knackered, probably in the postage - the boards show zero errors when they power on in the control panel. Could I be correct in my theory? And, if so, does anyone here have a spare controller / beagle?

I am in the UK - on that site I could not see and controller board links?

58  Economy / Economics / Re: Sell Everything? on: October 06, 2016, 10:26:14 AM
The bankers mostly get richer whatever the current situations are, in a rising or declining market, they have bets spread across all factors, why listen to them now?
59  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Accepting paypal and payoneer for bitcoins, and vice versa on: September 28, 2016, 09:57:21 AM
I always understood for PayPal that digital goods including currency had no protection (either way) and could be subject to chargebacks and cancellations for both parties?
