Bro. Those are worth exactly the price of Bitcoin plus all the forks that have happened since they were created. In 10 years from now or longer, those will be able to buy you 10 houses. Maybe you can just use them to get a loan. I'd hate see you part ways with something that you will regret later on.

P.S. Why you hatin' on JBeebs.
42  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin 10 Years From Now on: October 04, 2019, 12:29:12 AM
10 years from now I see Bitcoin as being a valuable collectible. A store of value rather than a currency. The advancements in DLT will be mind boggling. I noticed a lot of the answers here are not taking into account the exponential rate that technology in evolving. Think about it, in ten years, quantum computers will be a normal part of our lives that will bring about a future that is currently unpredictable. We have no idea where the human race will be in 10 years, let alone  where Bitcoin will be. lol. Nice thought experiment though.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Betting : A big problem to crypto? on: October 04, 2019, 12:22:33 AM
I once came across an article where it was stated that over 60 percent of most crypto transaction were used for betting. I don't see anything wrong with that. But don't you think it portrays crypto in a bad way?

I have to say no. Online gambling is a giant industry with crypto betting only taking up small portion of it. The revenue of the global online gambling industry has been increasing by double digits every year for the past seven years. In 2016, the global market was valued at $44.16 billion and it is projected to reach $81.71 billion by 2021. I say bring it on. Adults are free to make their own decisions and if they want to play let them play. Responsibly.
44  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Errol Spence Jr. Vs Manny Pacquiao on: October 04, 2019, 12:15:24 AM
After winning against shawn . Errol Spence Jr. said "i want Manny Pacquiao " on the interview . Are you guys still confident to put money on errol spence line?
For me in my own opinion its a big NO! Even this is not the right time to make a predictions.  And perhaps no need at all ?Lol . Imagine that kid want to box the living legend Pacquiao?  Oh my gosh it would be a next margarito vs Pacquiao for sure!  Lol just saying because i am now not empress on his skill after fighting shawn.  wherein they are totally the same what i mean no thrill like hide and seek behind their ears?   Ops sorry errol spence fans because Pacquiao speed and power is very amazing and there's no way Errol Spence  can place hes  head under Pacquiao shoulders.  Lol And it's like old man throwing a kid out on the ring. No offense guysl!  Peace!

Never bet against Pacquiao. That's what I've learned in all the years I've been watching him fight. He's getting older, some would argue. I would respond with he's getting more experienced. Pacquiao is as technical as they come. He calculates every round and his speed mixed with high altitude training is a force to be reckoned with.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICOM - ICOMTECH's cryptocurrency! We develop Crypto ATM/Terminals and more on: October 04, 2019, 12:10:12 AM
I'm noticing a few contradicting statements on this announcement. What countries are you operating in? Also, lots of forward looking statements mixed with ones that give the impression you are already in business. You have a few typos on your Announcement, too.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Coinexchange.io exit scam or fund issue ? on: October 03, 2019, 12:39:32 PM
Whats up with the clickbait titles and post? Clearly this is not an exit scam. They announced their closure well in advance and are honoring withdraws. Where is the scam, dude? I'm not sure they are hurting for money. Probably more like they made enough money already and dont want to keep spending it to keep the exchange going.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Anyone suggest me a Good ICO or an IEO? on: October 03, 2019, 10:20:03 AM
No. Nobody can. There are not many that are going to succeed and the ones that do succeed will still have a shit token that does the dead hamster bounce once it hits the market. Go for protocols that are building something you believe in or just buy Bitcoin.
48  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚡⚡⚡Lightning Network⚡⚡⚡supported by BC.Game 🎲 🂡🂫🎰🔥Satoshi Faucet🎁🎁 on: October 03, 2019, 10:16:17 AM
The site seems to be attracting more players as compared to the first time that I have browsed the site. With different currencies that a player can choose from, this site definitely got a variety of players just by checking the bet history. Wish that you will stay long here in the gambling business. Good luck!

I've noticed the influx of new players too. For a while there I noticed ,any of the new users had names like dfrdfgfgh which makes me think it's multi accounts farming the startup bonuses. But now, I'm noticing more players with real names and the chat section improvements doesn't make me want to start committing felonies against the other chatters. BC added moderators I think and the begging has reduced to almost not existing.
49  Other / Meta / Re: I am on the way to Hero Member rank. Within less than 2 years from register day on: October 03, 2019, 09:45:52 AM
I just went through a few of the threads you created from your list. I'd have to agree that they are very merit worthy. I've been plateaued at senior member for as long as the merit system has existed. I've been a member here for many years and I try to follow proper etiquette as best as I can. I've designed unique signatures for people for free on multiple occasions so they would better stand out from the crowd. I basically gave up trying to climb the ranks even though I was very proud of my progress before it came to a sudden stop. I never spammed to up my post numbers either. I have this one account. (I did run an account for a company I worked for but I didn't create it and it was only temporary. Back in 2016)

I applaud you for your perseverance, tranthidung, and for your contributions to this forum that I love and will always love as the birthplace of BTC. I am happy as a senior member. I am blazing crypto trails around the world on a daily basis and can't focus a great deal of time here trying to rank up. It's promising to know that someone rose to the challenge, though. Congratulations on the success from all your hard work.
50  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The most popular payment methods to buy Bitcoin in 2019 on: October 03, 2019, 08:26:08 AM
Chime is another great option these days for P2B2P transactions because there is no reversal option. I really like it. No fees. No Overdrafts. Free transfers. The best part is, it can replace the need for a bank when signing up for all these crypto cards and other pretend wallets. Chime is definitely my choice for when I have to use USD. CashApp was cool for a few days until they blocked my account.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Privacy Coins under Scrutiny? on: October 03, 2019, 05:45:02 AM
With the announcement of the FATF guidance rules earlier this year privacy coins seem to be suffering as a result. Coinbase UK dropped Zcash, OKEx delisted five privacy coins as did Upbit.

Monero, Zcash and Dash are all valued at under half of their July prices.

Does this mean the end of all privacy for crypto?

One company in particular CipherTrace is working with exchanges to validate transaction data without having to actually share data itself which helps with the FATF travel rule. This will offer some degree of assurance but true anonymity may not thrive. What are your thoughts?

https://cryptobriefing.com/privacy-coins-zcash-dash-scrutiny/

Yes privacy coins are under scrutiny but at the end of the day, it won't matter what agency you throw at them. They are more powerful than any government. Once they are live and distributed across the globe, no task force on the planet could shut them down.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sold my house for buying altcoins need your help on: October 03, 2019, 05:16:31 AM
this is my current investments. do u have any suggestion

20k$ = BNB
20k$ = ADA
20k$ = EOS
20k$ = XEM
20k$ = NEO
10k$ = XRP

I'm thinking about calling bullshit on this post. Are you just looking for attention or did you really invest that much in EOS...lol. Come on. You said "sold your house" not "one of your houses" so I doubt you are a real estate investor that  offed a property to try your luck in crypto. Saying you "sold your house" leads me to believe it's your only one. Which is cool if you like living on the street while your portfolio gos through the typical highs and lows.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mass adoption growing or decreasing? on: October 03, 2019, 04:47:35 AM
Following 10 years of presence, the subject of whether the mass reception of digital currency has been begun is still bantered in the space. I would like to ask specialists in the crypto and blockchain businesses is there or have there be any huge crypto mass adoption compare to 10years ago?

There has and there currently is a large scale mass adoption of blockchain and cryptocurrency. In my opinion it isn't necessarily the kind of adoption that is beneficial to the key ideologies that Bitcoin was built on. These new projects that are bringing crypto to the masses are largely focused on centralization and they all are either adhering to or trying to redefine the legal frameworks set out by their countries.
54  Economy / Economics / Re: Are Cryptobanks Future? on: October 03, 2019, 12:12:33 AM
Friends, I have recently read an article on the future of the banking system thanks to proliferation of smart contracts, some countries are already preparing cryptobanking projects, and this should happen  the next few years. Actually the conclusion of the article was that the free financial market - cryptocurrency is the future for the financial system. Do you agree? Is it so positive, or will the state regulation complicate things, but in my opinion it is inevitable for the banking sector, in your opinion?

The answer to this would require a universally accepted definition of "cryptocurrency". Some would argue that a bank can't use a crypto currency because of the transparency and immutability of a blockchain. If you are referring to digital currencies and private chains, then yes, this is the inevitable future of the banking system.
55  Other / Meta / Re: Please don't use bold text in your posts. on: October 03, 2019, 12:08:24 AM
I find it slows down my reading quite considerably. Presumably you want people to read your post - well bold and coloured text is non-standard, and it slows down reading for those of us who are busy, and have other interests. If you want your message to get maximum exposure, then please treat the forum as a collection of message boards, and not as a place to practice design exercises.

I skip over such posts, and very rarely do I read the content. Am I alone in this?

I respect your opinion as I do most opinions but I find bold to be a very useful tool when used correctly. On a bullet point list it's nice to use bold on the subject of each bullet point. Headers obviously are great for bold. Colored letters are pretty freaking annoying when used incorrectly, though. Red letters are pretty standard. They have always signified warning and I appreciate them. Although I agree bold should not be overused, I don't see how it can possibly slow down your reading. Especially, if the font size is the same. Bold doesn't make the words any longer.... Everyone has their quirks, though.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin price recovery on: October 02, 2019, 11:59:05 PM
The title says it all — altcoin price recovery is underway. Personally, i would be satisfied if prices go back to where they were a few days ago, but a rally that would take them higher wouldn't hurt, either.

What are your thoughts and expectations?

https://coinmarketcap.com/

I have completely given up predicting the direction of the markets. I know that over time, the direction is up for the top 20 coins. These little dips don't even cause any reaction out me anymore. Neither to the little bullruns either. It's long term that matters.
57  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you still excited when there is news about the real Satoshi coming up on: October 02, 2019, 11:51:04 PM
There is now a lot of news about Satoshi Nakamoto coming up or uncovered are you still excited every time there is news about new discovery on who Satoshi Nakamoto is and his whereabouts.

We have fed by so many lies about this Nakamoto pretenders some of them are good storyteller some of them might be true I have a hard time analyzing the best version of the story.

I feel very strongly that Satoshi was meant to disappear. I think it was the final piece to the puzzle that made Bitcoin truly decentralized. If he were to come back or to never have left, he would be placed at the center of Bitcoin's day to day drama and the world would expect him to solve all the setbacks and try to hold him accountable for any problems that occur.

There is a Chinese proverb that fits well in this topic. For the purpose of this conversation I'll change Buddha to Satoshi.

"If you meet Satoshi on the street, kill him"

58  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [Project] A casino based on "Community Consensus" with lightning network on: September 23, 2019, 08:29:49 AM
I found a cool tool which could meet my needs.
Here is the link:
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/btc-ln-collectibles/kafdhdbejepkebcinmpkhnkiiecccknk

Btw I really enjoy playing their BTCDragon.
You could regard it as cryptokitties based on the BTC network.
Smart contracts on the Bitcoin network.
Thats awesome!

I'm a huge fan of this tool and this game. I can't wait for the main net version to launch.
59  Other / Meta / Re: Bumping changes on some boards on: September 19, 2019, 05:18:45 AM
Dope. This improvement beats the hell of the last significant change to this forum. I don't want to trail off-topic here so I wont mention how s***** the merit system is. I definitely wont bring up the fact that I want to give out merit to worthy topics but I can't because I'm not sitting at the cool table. Bump changes..... Right on target.
60  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚡⚡⚡Lightning Network⚡⚡⚡supported by BC.Game 🎲 🂡🂫🎰🔥Satoshi Faucet🎁🎁 on: September 18, 2019, 03:59:03 AM
Block 592,600 is mined
https://btc.com/00000000000000000009e93621499e5a63d79a6293609ce52e95e93dd49cb1be
So the salt will be
00000000000000000009e93621499e5a63d79a6293609ce52e95e93dd49cb1be

You can view the documentation about the algorithm as follows:
https://res.bc.game/blackjack/algorithm_2.pdf

In addition, we have an algorithm based on the EOS future block. We use the hash of the future block as the salt.
We could add the salt to every round, because the EOS block is fast.
https://res.bc.game/blackjack/algorithm_1.pdf
The EOS/TRON block is fast, but the consensus mechanism is controversial.
So we are currently using the option of algorithm_2

We will upgrade our BlackJack algorithm.
The game uses asymmetric encryption RSASSA-PKCS1-v1_5 mode.
The server has the [Privatekey] and announce the [Publickey].
Here is the [Publickey].

-----BEGIN PUBLIC KEY-----
MIGfMA0GCSqGSIb3DQEBAQUAA4GNADCBiQKBgQDE9QKpw5CHZyf+OfcrT5MCeiCR
CLVZjDVUSPGzwXdoGAcRi/r9y7T8t4/byXNTLky0h9dUGKBowwN7bt7fgMKvWAtz
0Xf4ztfpsEoRHrzRs2r8khPUjihjrz0N+oPQ+ktAh7M95ZnQfgt/hNWFevGRd+SV
sGsWhO8VFrBYb7nS8wIDAQAB

-----END PUBLIC KEY-----

1. Encrypt the [Issue] and [Salt] with HmacSHA256 to get [Hash].
2. Sign [Hash] with the [Privatekey] to get the [Seed].
3. Using the [Seed] to shuffle cards.
4. [Seed] is announced after the end of game.
5. The client can use the [Publickey] to verify the signature.

Before being used to calculate the corresponding result, each game hash is salted with the lowercase, hexadecimal string representation of the hash of bitcoin block 592,600
This block has not been mined yet at the time of starting the provably fair seeding event, proving that I have not deliberately picked a chain that is unfavorable for players.

Another point that players need to notice:
In the first player position, there is a risk that the robot sitting there and interfere you to get a good hand
(we won't do that, swear in coco's tooth. At the same time, we will work hard to solve the possible robot problems in PVP games and provide a fairer environment for players.)
We suggest you leave the room if the there are full of weird frogs instead of your friends.
Good luck!

Just doing my civic duty and locking this in stone so it can't be edited later. Thanks for your efforts and for providing an online gambling experience that is up to the standards of being provably fair. Congrats on being added to the Crypto Gambling Foundation as a member, too.
