Why I can't register on https://etcbets.com/ ? It always show invalid password, tried different password combinations. Is this contest available to newly join? 1) Are you on mobile or desktop? 2) Can you show me a screenshot of your issue? |

Strange, cannot connect to Parabolic socket, disconnects right away (Opcode -1.) Chrome/Firefox/Guest/User all doesn't matter.. as if my IP is banned or something  Can you see the live game animation (not the trippy background fluid dynamics animation) on the homepage or are you getting "attempting to connect..." there as well? Only this:  As you can see, the chat socket works fine. I really don't know what to tell you ... this is really weird. You're the first person to report a problem with this, we haven't had any other reports of connectivity issues. I'm assuming you visted our site for the first time this week ... if not, maybe a ctrl-reload helps (I'm sure you know this, I'm just mentioning it for completeness sake). If you catch me on skype, I can look at what the server is doing when you try to connect. I'm not sure this will turn up useful info, but it's worth a try. Greetings Lobos |

Glad to hear  Sorry to drag this back into the open, but I guess maybe there's an issue with your private messages. So could you just to confirm, this was you guys who bought the copy? I'm really sorry about all the confusion, as I was under impression that the copy you are referring to was sold to a different person for a different project (as copies are sold explicitly to be non-distributable, as it wouldn't really be fair for me if people could just transfer/resell them at will). Anyway, assuming it's licensed would you like to be added to bustabit.com/license.txt (that's completely up to you, I don't mind either way)? I can confirm that the code was purchased for our project; that was it's intended use since the get-go. Anyway, your site is really looking great. I'm a fan of the particle effect generation on the home page. It's a lot of fun to take the cursor off one side of the screen, and make it appear on the other -- and watch it "shoot" the particles like a nuclear missile Thank you ... we put quite a bit of work into the site, so I'm very happy you like it. :-) |

I sell license for it for 2 bitcoin, but for people who don't want to (or can't) pay I offer the code completely free as (I like to hope) the code is useful for other people to see how a bitcoin casino is built and learn from it. The condition though for those people, is the AGPLv3 license which basically says that you must prominently link to the code/license and any changes must also be under the same license as well as pretty much everything that touches it (so generally the front-end/backend) along with instructions for anyone who wants to install/build their own. People are totally free to use it for commercial purpose, but any interfacing code must also be made available under the AGPLv3 too. (The AGPLv3 is basically the GPL license, but it closes some loopholes around not need to comply with the license if you're offering it as as service (e.g. Remote Network Interaction)) I know there's a few people who have expressed interests in building bustabit for ETH, so I think the adaptations made for ETC and stuff would be pretty appreciated. (And likewise those people would have to share any changes they make, so hopefully it's a bit of a win win for everyone) Ah, I see. So BB, who have made nearly 500 BTC in profit, decided to use the free code instead of paying you 2 BTC to license it. Interesting. Sadly it was purchased, I guess not that interesting or drama worthy anymore. Well that's good. It was pretty clear that Ryan was under the impression that it wasn't purchased so I'm glad everything got resolved. Ah cool. Well in that case, everything is totally fine! The license does give you permission to use it for absolutely anything you want I guess you must've purchased it using an alias or something? As I do not recall the event. If you could PM me the email address you used, I am happy to confirm that the license was bought and add your domain to bustabit.com/license.txt if you want =) PM sent. BTW, we rewrote the server side code in PHP based on the framework we use ... so it's not a NodeJS system anymore :-) |

We did purchase a license. Ryans words were: Hey there, if you send 2 BTC to 1P4dzNXwLDhJ1E7He86uwFoewLu8PG3rSS and send me your email address, and i'll email you a source dump of bustabit (webserver, gameserver, depositor). Start with the "webserver" project, and check out the readme there. The database schema in the webserver is used through out for all the projects. If any have any specific technical questions, I'm happy to answer (just try solve them first yourself). Also make sure you're running the latest version of node and postgres

You should lose that ridiculous mouse trail multi color barf crap. It's pretty annoying and takes away from the experience IMO
Well, it's only on the home page and from the feedback we've been getting, most people seem to love it ... once you log in, you won't see it anymore, so I would guess that if you don't like it, it's only a minor annoyance. |

Maybe you can try it again om different browser like me, my first was with firefox and my 2nd try is using Opera Browser. Just FYI We'll be doing a round of bug-fixes tomorrow to address some issues, mainly mobile-related. We'll be sure to take a look at the registration issues which have been reported. Thanks for your patience and understanding; most of this code is brand-new :-) |

You are saying 'only' like this is something any developer can bang out in a day/week, this is for professionals, by professionals. The price is set to include a teams' need for help from our lead developer , if the extra guidance is not needed we will negotiate a rate lower to accommodate. If anybody is considering purchasing our code but has concerns about the code quality, etc. we are willing to give you a sample of our source code to prove that it is clean and well designed. Apart from that, we are happy to field any technical questions you may have. |

Can't say I'm surprised by the sellout with this first distribution. What is surprising is that a real project like this without smoke and mirrors took as long as it did to catch on. All the proverbial "breadcrumbs" were there.
Mark my words....this will be one of the most successful crypto tokens/coins/assets to ever come out. Maybe not immediately, or in 6 months, but for those patient enough to hold long-term and with the means, you'll be wondering why you didn't put more into this project.
The world is taught to feed off negativity and bad news, the harder sell is good news, as we continue to hit goals and milestones people will look for the Janus project in search of something substantial. I'm not a religious man, but Amen brother! In blockchain we trust :-) IN JANUS TEAM we trust too, I believe this to be one of my favorite long term bagholding projects..so for anyone good at bagholding, this is the creme de la creme of bagholds.. I prefer to think of JANUS as an investment strategy, not a bagholding strategy :-) |
