What is the purpose of distributing 10.5m anuses every quarterly? How will be these anuses be distributed?

Just a quick FYI: The Janus website will go down (and come back up) sporadically over the next 48 hours while we work on some server upgrades/changes.
Everything should be back up and stable by the weekend.

Hey everyone, If you get the chance I was just informed the NXT mobile wallet (which also handles assets like Janus) is coming along nicely. It's not yet on the Google playstore but you can grab a copy from here: https://nxtwiki.org/wiki/Mobile_AppGive it a test and see what you think, it has much (if not all) of the features the PC wallet does! It's alright. Nothing to write home about but I'll use it. Did you help develop the app? No, we were not involved in the creation of this mobile wallet. |

Putting aside your impertinence, this question proves that you have either not read what we've been saying or haven't understood any of it (I'm guessing it's the former). Please come back when you're ready/able to ask a relevant question that hasn't been asked several times before and I'll be happy to indulge you. |

kinda like the idea but the progress is so slow
without a good marketing it would be hard to make it a success
We have an awesome marketing team. As for progress being slow, I don't think it's fair to say this given: 1) Our stated goals 2) The fact that our original ICO timeline hasn't even ended yet If you want something moves at light-speed, go find a pump-and-dump coin and gamble with that. |

I sincerely would like to thank the JANUS TEAM for their professionalism and honesty throughout their project campaign. I received my refund and am going to reinvest it here so we can move forward together as I believe this project has a lot of depth.

For all you FUDDERS and just lame ass attempts at smearing the good names of those involved in this project....I'll have you know that i have received my refund from the ICO.
I was the biggest investor in the ICO (I'm pretty sure).
I said I would post when I received it. So F-U.....those that want to spread BS lies.
Thanks for confirming this to the general public ... while it won't stop the (semi)professional fudders (I'm sure they'll invent some other deranged arguments to throw at us), at least it shows that we're not scammers who took people's money and ran. |

will try to buy some JANUS on myNXT. because now the price is still very cheap  NXT IS CHEAP so is JANUS..I also waiting for more btc to arrive to get more of it soon.. I really need to get as much as I can because next round of tokens will be more expensive and with ardor coming, nxt will also go up as well in price again and also after Xmas is over and the whales start buying crypto again. Which one is true?
whether Janus will launch although ICO not reached then wheter bounties still be paid?
The ico is off and paid funding will be returned from escrow. As for bounties, I'm not a part of the team so I have no saying in the matter. I think that all a bounties are off as well, because why would the team want to pay out something now that the funding is canceled? You can still donate/"invest" in their NXT token sale if you like. See the janustokens page for details. Refund is real? Any truth to that? Why are all bounties off? Peeps did translations, signature campaigns they all agreed upon, hyped this coin and so on. Some reckoned to receive a little penny for promotion and annoying inspirational cross-posting. All of this is gone lol . So much bounty rushers are looking after devs head. Wow even though the ICO was not successful you guys are still paying bounties that's something we don't get to see every day.

Yes, I told gordonhill that although the initial plan needed to be altered (i'm a action person, not waiting for sale to fail taking actions now) I will not give the campaign people zero I personally do not agree with it and so the plans he put on the campaign thread are accurate and good.
We are going to surprise everyone, I suggest those who haven't, join our Slack and get to reading about everything, you will be quite happy. The future for Janus/Nxt/Ardor is very bright. You told him something he never replied because he is chulbie. Not responsible individual and should be avoid for the benefit of a bunch of believers still thinking they will get a refund whereas its clear they wont. Nice FUD try? Why do you think we will not get our refund? I will make sure to post here when i receive my BTC back. I'm in the first wave. Thank you Merc. Please do confirm when your refund hits your wallet so the rest of the world knows that we didn't run off with the money ... It turns out that price is now about 1000 sat. What price was at beginning?
If you're referring to the cancelled token sale, it is impossible to quote a price since the distribution of tokens would have been dependent on the amount of capital/BTC raised. The current price is the first/initial price of Janus being available to the public under our alternative distribution model. |

I totally get the corporate background thing especially trying to sell a business to banks and angel investors, it's so different form crypto peeps.. .. It's the merging of two very different worlds but isn't it exciting? Thank you for your understanding, but apparently this was not the right tone/language to use for our target audience. |

It has been brought to our attention (mostly through our slack channels) that some people
1) Have been dissatisfied with the information we have initially supplied
2) Have been dissatisfied with the answers we have given in response to questions asked
3) The our whitepaper is basically a fancy version of corporate bullshit-bingo
We have put a great deal of work into the information we provided and thought it was clear and self-explanatory, but this is obviously not the case. My best guess is that this is due to what I call 'information blindness' which basically means that as the author of a piece of work you assume that things are clear when in realty they are not because you are immersed in the context in which it was written. On top of this, after you read your own work a few times, you become 'blind' to it's flaws and weaknesses and are unable to identify such weaknesses.
As for #3 (the corporate bullshit bingo), I may be to blame for that; I guess that working in a corporate environment for 25 years has left it's impact on my manner of communication.
Be that as it may, we have always said that we will honor and value any feedback we will get, especially if it helps us improve our message. As such, we will address all the points which have been flagged as unclear, missing, etc. and come back with a detailed reply which we hope will clarify our plans and intentions. However, due to Thanksgiving being around the corner, we ask for your patience & understanding for the fact that we have family matters to attend to (that is, if we don't want our wives to strangle us in our sleep) and will return with new/updated info next week.
We have also been told that people would appreciate concise (ie: short) answers and we will try to heed this advice, but it is my belief that when discussing things such as business strategy giving a 1 sentence reply would not capture much of the information we wish to convey. We'll try to be to the point though.
In the meantime, if you have additional questions you would like answered, please post them here and we'll take them into account.
