Is it really necessary becouse I don't believe that fb and twitter users have necessary accounts on bitcointalk to participate in airdrops. Or it will be different schema this time for fb/twitter accounts?

I think before hitting bittrex or any other top 10 exchange it would be wiser to join any other top 10-30 exchange, because the nova is in 50 place. Why joining smaller exchange than top 10 you say? First of all it will be faster to be accepted and as DeepOnion will be listed in more than one exchange it will open doors to other exchanges

I don't want to speculate on price.
But I have other insight. There's ~1M registered users in bitcointalk, at the moment only ~1k participated in the airdrops and ~half of them are already banned. What I'm trying to say is this coin has potential to be one of the coins with biggest user base.
The more skin in the game, more interesting it get's.

Is there any single page with statistics about how much coin were distributed, how many paid for bounties and various rewards + how many users participating in airdrop plus the users who dumped the coins or were banned from distribution?
It's getting really hard to keep track the numbers on this thread due to all this clutter it would be nice to have spreadsheet (google docs?) publicly available with the numbers.

Yes it's a good pool, but then the 51% attack could bring whole trust in ONION down quite a bit. Less trust - smaller price. Anyone knows if there's any metrics about the hashing power of Deep Onion blockchain, it's pools and other miners and/or how secure is the network? Or does the PoS element negate the 51% attack entirely? |

The network weight is too damn high ! I have been running node for a week now with 2700 weight and yet to stake anything. Looks like whales/devs staking 24/7 and the fishes likes me can get jacks :|

Scammers accumulated more than 94 % of all coins in circulation in there wallets. First 25 wallets are holding 95 % of coins available (Around 3 million onions) Check out this link: http://178.62.250.234/richlist I don't want to insult you, but you have problems with reading AND math... It clearly says that first 3 wallets, which holds 80% (from 90%) of all coins is premined for airdrop, bounties etc. If you follow the pie chart it clearly shows, that top 25 wallets are contracting and gray area is expanding (airdrop participants)... At the moment there was only minor accidents with the distribution which is fine considering that this is first time coin is distributed in such manner... |

Nova trading is super solid. I'm very surprised because it's one of the smallest exchanges out there  Yep, their software is kinda good. What they lack is real time data ( Or is it just me?) because I need to refresh the page to see updated chart etc... About small exhanges... I believe theres like 4000+ different exchange in this planet so it's hard to tell |

I think its because the community is stagnating, i believe very few new members comes to community and a lot just dumps, just because there's this big 'barrier' of entry (you need like 2k grc to stake once in blue moon) Magnitude pos weight balance, etc... Look, I understand you have to do 10 posts a week because of your sig. I have the same after all. But please abstain from making idiotic posts. The price (in satoshi) is going down for the same reason most coins go down. 1) BTC is exploding and everybody is selling to get btc. So gridcoin and almost any other altcoin goes down. 2) The community is stagnating? Really? And then why does gridcoin has like 10 new posts on totally different topics, everyday over https://steemit.com/trending/gridcoin? Or maybe have you checked slack? I almost can guarantee you that 99.99% of human population on planet earth doesn't even know that BOINC exits/is. And then you subtract the amount of BOINC users who doesn't even know what crypto is then you get ... lim -> 0. I know GRC has voting system, kinda unique PoS system and even integrated neural net for consensus(?) but It's not advertised ANYWHERE in human readable form. |

Airdrop participants ? I don't think so. The developer crypto-rainbow is a scammer from Hong Kong. I can provide his IP if needed. Just another cheap trap for free money hunters. Only thing the developer did was making a wallet, a blockchain copy paste some graphics etc... The rest is generated by the community paid with a few onions nothing worth yet. He wants you to hold 90% at the same time he will gradually dump his premine stakes. It's just a get rich scheme for this chinese scammer and nothing more.You will do all of the promotion and all other work for nothing. I think you are mistaken with normal trading. If someone would be dumping it would not be in amounts of hundreds or thousands. Such trading is good for coins health. I believe there's people watching transactions from block explorer. If there was a movement from whales we would know both in network weight and tranaction size in exchange. |

In a perfect world market (crypto or not) would decide if it's scam or not scam... At the moment with a market cap around of ~750k USD and daily volumes of 7k USD the market looks healthy.
I myself had some concerns about this coin but I'm on the train now. I think more liquidity and even more coins like this help overall crypto economy by providing new user base (that's trivial but essential to any market) by providing low barrier entry (literally 0$ if you don't count your time skipping through bitcointalk and replaying here and there )...
Of Course raising red flags and helping community to understand the problems helps too.

Using NovaExchange to Obtain Deep Onion Tutorial
Step 1. If you do not already have an account with Coinbase, it is probably the easiest place to start (assuming you're starting point is cash, if you already hold another coin, skip this step). Visit Coinbase.com (my aff link), add a funding method, and purchase either Bitcoin, or Ethereum.
Step 2. Open an account on NovaExchange.com.
Step 3. Click on Wallets at the top of the NovaExchange site, from the dropdown, select Balances.
You forgot the step where you need to transfer BTC from coinbase (or any other gateway) to novaexchange wallet. It's also worth mentioning that transaction cost of ETH is way less than BTC |
