41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: A long term investor here, thinking about adding RoLLBit Token on: June 02, 2023, 10:25:03 PM

I have not gambled on Rollbit before and I want to ask if there is anything adding extra value to Rollbit token, anyone using this platform should please drop a feedback, is the token been used on the platform itself for gambling? Or it has benefits if gamblers use the token to gble instead of using Bitcoin?

I don't have RLB but I do have BFG and comparing the two it seems RLB is performing better than BFG.

Two things that you can consider are their long-term marketing which can really make an impact on the performance of the token in the market and how they address issues like complaints in the scam section.
I consider casino-based token worth including in your portfolio, especially if they have long-term marketing and their platform is performing well in the community they serve or target.
42  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you handle long shot bets? on: June 01, 2023, 10:47:58 PM

Anyone here is successful doing a long shot bet? A point were you can be satisfied without considering your bankroll status and just pure fun on gambling experience?

Mindset is important if you have a mindset that you don't want to stress yourself and just want to have fun then yes you can do it, I've done it many times, and still doing it you have to accept that you are in a  gambling platform even if you're wishing that you want to win big money, the house edge can bust your wish, so it's better not to stress yourself and accept the results, having fun should not be stressful.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There are a lot of scams on Twitter, and illegal links steal your assets. on: June 01, 2023, 08:51:11 PM
A few days ago, I saw a KOL with a large number of fans on Twitter. He was recommending a project recommended by many KOLs. As long as he followed his guidelines, he could get more airdrop tokens. As a result, when I clicked on the link, connect When my little fox wallet is signed and confirmed, my assets will be reset to zero. I checked the data on the chain, and in a short period of time, he actually defrauded more than 20,000 US dollars in digital currency, which is terrible.

This is the main reason why I don't want to link my wallet to an unknown third-party platform especially a third-party platform that has no audit certificate, I do not know how to read the code of their smart contract so people like me all newbies can be deceived to link their profit for rewards and profit promised by these third party platforms.
People who are active in airdrops should be good at looking for all the signs that the platform is a dubious one or you will lose all your coins.
44  Economy / Gambling / Re: is KYC data on Gambling sites safe? on: May 31, 2023, 08:43:22 PM
It's safe if you're going to do it in a casino that is reputable and compliant with the authorities because KYC is not something you cannot avoid when you play in centralized casinos, they exist because the authorities granted them a license, and part of these licenses is compliant to authorities like Anti Money laundering board, so before you sign up be sure to check the reputation of the casino so you will have no issue in the future when they ask you to do KYC.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Pi mining networks real? on: May 31, 2023, 01:28:15 PM
Pi Network is a social cryptocurrency and developer platform that.
1• allows mobile users to mine Pi coins without draining battery or harming the environment.
2• fosters the world's most accessible and ubiquitous apps platform where developers can offer users real life utilities and products in exchange for Pi coins. With its 35+ million engaged user base and novel mining mechanism that allows anyone to mine Pi straight from their smartphones, Pi Network strives to bring real power back to the masses. Pi's blockchain secures not only transactions via a mobile meritocracy system but also a full Web 3.0 experience where community developers can build decentralized applications (dApps) for millions of users.

Pi network is real with a market cap of $1,120,344,681,920 and price of $25.33 on the coinmarket cap.

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/pinetwork/

Really, if you're a real follower of the real PI you know that what is listed on Coinmarketcap is a fake PI
The real Pi network had a notification to all their followers on their Twitter account, those buying this fake Pi may end up losing in the end, so beware of this.

46  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin as a retirement plan for my parents on: May 30, 2023, 08:38:43 PM

They are close to retirement and still believe in saving in banks and buying stocks. I don't really know how I could go about convincing them to invest some idle funds in Bitcoin since my father is kinda headstrong.

They are old folks and old folks rely on traditional investments, Cryptocurrency is something new to them so it's kind of hard convincing them to invest with their hard-earned money, so the best recourse is to teach them how to use Bitcoin from buying something, in short, concentrate on the usage and the underlying technology once they become interested then you can introduce the monetary side of it, and it's up to their decision if they want to proceed to invest.
47  Economy / Reputation / Re: After Chipmixer, Is Sinbad.io Next To Be Shutdown? on: May 30, 2023, 04:02:29 AM

Can I ask a counter question, Is Whirlwind.money Next To Be Shutdown?  Wink
If there is going to have a thread like that, then we will have episodes of the names of the mixer that will likely next target to be shut down, if we're asking about what happened to Chipmixer and the fate of the other mixers the topic should be generalized for all mixers not just one, as if the authorities have only eyes on Sinbad

And there's openness on Sindad's founder based on the article you provided

https://www.wired.com/story/sinbad-crypto-mixer-north-korean-hackers/
Quote
As for the tens of millions of dollars that North Korean hackers laundered through Sinbad? "Your magazine is the first one to ever contact me about this issue," Mehdi writes. "In case I receive a request from [Chainalysis] or any other institution I will investigate the matter and make my opinion on it."

So the founder is willing to address the issue and not ignore it or run away from it.
48  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Beterbiev Vs Smith AUG 19 2023 SATURDAY IBF / WBC / WBO LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT Title on: May 29, 2023, 11:48:24 PM

I'm the 8th voter and yes, there's no other vote other than the "Beteriev by KO".

Make my vote 9, Beterbiev has been fighting and cherry-picking fighters and he is not getting any younger anymore, he cannot establish his legacy for lack of real opponents that can challenge him, the organization and promoters should move to get the Bivol - Beterbiev, there's too much politics on boxing now that they don't want this to happen, and this is very unfortunate.
Even if it's a nontitle fight they should square off the ring to see who really is the best light heavyweight fighter in this generation.

49  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will You Allow To Undergo Hypnosis If A Professional Recommend To Cure Gambling on: May 29, 2023, 09:14:52 PM
Why not if its something that will fast-track my healing, professionals will not recommend something that will harm their patient it's backed by science and recommended by the medical community, but I want one of my relatives besides me if possible while the session is ongoing so I can be assured what's the professional is putting in my mind not that I don't trust them but I want to know how my mind reacts.
50  Other / Meta / Re: Poll on solving the imgur issue on: May 28, 2023, 10:33:10 PM
I vote No.1, because the staff will work hard to Turn imgur images into links

and I saw other forum members saying that postimages.org is a good alternative.
I used postimages.org, but sometimes I got the error when uploading the image, and must turn off my VPN to resolve it.

and when I won't turn off my VPN I will use freeimage.host, it worked fine in all situations.

Postingimages is not good they are not 100% reliable they have downtime too there was a time when I want to upload images but I'm getting a lot of errors they are off when it comes to an image hosting they should have 100% uptime because their service is all about keeping the images online I check TALKIMG and it's good the operator is very active here and he can address all concern about his image sharing site, so I prefer and recommend TALKIMG.
51  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: As a Gambler and a Die-Hard Fan of a Club Would you Bet Against your Club on: May 28, 2023, 02:47:25 PM

As a gambler and a die-hard fan of a club that has been having a terrible season, would you bet against your club, knowing that their loss would be your financial gain? Or would you stay loyal and not bet against them?

You're not getting a lot if you're betting against your favorite team where you are a die-hard, so I'll just skip it and just cheer for your favorite team there will be times when my favorite team will build up so I can continue betting for them if you're betting against them it's like betraying your loyalty to the team, you are not a die-hard fan in a real sense, you're just a casual fan.
52  Economy / Gambling / Re: Using ToS against users normal? on: May 26, 2023, 08:00:31 AM
Gamblers should be aware of this, they should be aware of casinos changing their TOS but not informing their members, so in case there are issues arises the casino can easily win the case because the TOS always favors this, so members should check the most important provisions on the TOS that casino will likely change, like the use of VPN or KYC, this has been the issue many casinos are using against those who violate.
53  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Josh Taylor vs Teofimo Lopez on: May 25, 2023, 11:48:32 AM

My take is prime Josh Taylor would've easily schooled Teofimo Lopez and might take him out in the late rounds. But considering the 1-year inactivity of Josh Taylor and he admitted before that making weight is so difficult already as he aged. Earlier, the only reason Taylor stayed for 1 last fight against Caterrall is in order to settle their controversial first fight. Now I am not counting out Lopez as we do not how what version of Taylor will show this June 10. But I still believe Taylor will be the slight favorite here.

Between the two Josh is the more technical and more patient I have him winning by the decision I doubt if he can knock out Lopez he has good movement and defense in the ring, but I never rule out the possibility that Lopez gets knockout because of his impatient to attack that always causes him to get knocked down, like what happened in the Sandor Martin and Kambosos fight.
Teofimo Lopez has huge potential but his last two fights are not good he needs a good trainer to level up his style a loss against Taylor will strain the father relationship, because right now his father cannot be considered a good trainer, and Lopez needs a better one.
54  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Today is Bitcoin Pizza Day. on: May 24, 2023, 11:16:42 PM

18th May 2010 143rd member of the BitcoinTalk forum, Laszello Honeys, posted on the BitcoinTalk forum that he wanted some pizza for which he would give 10,000 Bitcoins. Incidentally, there has yet to be a public transaction in Bitcoin's history in which people have purchased anything in the real world.

I want you to know about its importance and significance.
Because you will actually have an idea of the value of the Pizza as time goes by when the price of Bitcoin is increasing, it's a good promotional actually, in fact, I successfully invited three friends to look at Bitcoin because of this event while we were eating pizza, and as we celebrate this big event we can look back and see how far Bitcoin has gone over the years.
55  Economy / Gambling / Re: Help us to choose a bonus for a review campaign! on: May 24, 2023, 10:43:47 PM
Team_MegaPari I will also advise you to reopen your signature campaign alongside with the Review Campaign. Now your review campaign will be a very big help to the signature campaign and your website. Since you need our thoughts on the bonuses, I will say you should give the to those who will register to the site without deposit, once the person registered then the person should unlock his bonuses through a simple click of some links. That will make people to visit the site more and also let it be that customers will anot abuse the bonuses your detriment.

Yes, they are doing good in their signature campaign for branding, reviews are good but signature still has a big impact on branding which is why top online casinos prefer to have a long-term campaign here for continuous presence and branding, and about reviews, its obvious people want to get paid with Bitcoin but like all the other comments it should be open reviews with pen feedbacks not only positive.
56  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BetterCallRaul.it Domain Seized or Scammed on: May 24, 2023, 09:59:33 PM
BetterCallRaul.it knows what they are doing. They even login to the forum this evening. Look at their last active time Today at 07:34:53 PM which means they are coming here to spy what is happening in the forum about their exit scam.  Really I have not heard anyone came and claimed that BetterCallRaul.it has scammed them was it that user here was using the platform?

The majority of us here believe its a scam, they are in a hurry to pull it off by posting a fake and photoshopped seizure, and since they log in they cannot make an announcement that they are seized because they are first exposed of rug pull, I wonder if there are traders who lose money, if there are they can post it here for reference.
OP did not lose money here since his reference is the signature campaign which he is not a part of.
57  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you been threaten to stop gambling on: May 24, 2023, 08:46:12 PM
No, not yet  Cheesy maybe when I'm in the same shoes your friend is in, my wife knows I'm gambling but I'm gambling moderately with money allocated for gambling and if I won I just tell her to avoid any issues wives are like that they do not want any secret especially when it comes to money matters.

It's ok to gamble as long as you tell your wife how much money and how long are you spending per session, honesty is still the best policy especially when it comes to money matters.
58  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which Crypto coin Do You Gamble with the Most? on: May 24, 2023, 03:24:17 PM
You have a good point about why you're using stablecoins, it's the same point I had I need not compute because if you lose $1 you lose$1, I experience using altcoins in my betting I won a good amount but when I cash out and there's a dip in the altcoin I've used I just realized I lose 5% of my winning because of the dip which I have no control of because it just happens that I prefer to use it.
So to avoid this I started using stable coin.
59  Other / Meta / Re: Crimes of signatures campaign affects forum? on: May 24, 2023, 04:21:25 AM
There are lot of Defense statement here - What if Bitcointalk will be blocked by the FBI Because of those Crimes from Signature Campaign, or What if no one is Reporting Directly to the FBI because they Don't want to get Traced or something so they just Left the Issue goes on.?

They will have to deal with section 260 first and Bitcointalk has already been made aware of their compliant to authorities being under U.S. jurisdiction, they will have to send a letter of notification first and Bitcointalk will respond appropriately, you don't block right away unless there is a pending case, there should be democracy in how they implement rules.

I think the Merit System is the best Idea that the Owner of Bitcointalk Created to Lessen the Scammers who joins the campaign.
We already have that in place but there are still scammers roaming around because scams are not moderated here

when it Comes to a syndicate something or any Related Crime Issue. FBI doesn't just go for Big Fish Directly they hunt small Fish First. If you get what I mean.  Huh Huh

Chipmixer and FTX are big fishes but they caught it, there should be court orders before they take action.
60  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there play and pay later casinos? on: May 23, 2023, 09:27:46 PM

If casinos start offering loans, they will surely have a system where a person cannot just take a loan for free, gamble it away and sign out from the platform and that's it. They will probably ask for something as collateral for the loan so that the borrower doesn't default.

Usually, the collaterals are expensive watches, and if they have a car, they can accept it as collateral all they have to do is to sign a contract that they are giving their car as collateral, so gambling addicts fall into this they are deep in debt because if you're a high roller they can give you a special loan and your expensive belongings as your collaterals.
It's not really play and pay later its giving loan to compulsive gamblers.
