41  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Quit My Full Time Job to Trade Cryptos Full Time on: April 22, 2021, 11:30:44 PM
Way to go man. I hope you see out the rest of your journey successfully. I just read through the answers you provided to the questions that was asked by others and it is informative even though it's not that in depth. I'm currently on a similar path to build a long term career in crypto and get to attain a similar position like you. The feeling of achieving such feat isn't one that can be shaken off quickly. You should take some time to rest before embarking on the next journey. Don't forget to note that crypto trends are on a constant change. Put that in mind so you will know when to still try out defi strategies or not.
42  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [banned mixer] has been hacked - I have lost my money on: April 22, 2021, 11:23:16 PM
You should use Chipmixer they seem reliable on this forum. Also, keep in mind that if you move very large funds you could lose all your money.
The owner may set it like this by default.

In summary, Funds can still be lost irrespective of the mixing platform that transactions are being done as the attacker is able to fool users to send funds to their address instead which is bad. Moving forward, users just need to be cautious and take extra steps to ensure that they're sending funds to a correct destination. The fact that this happened to CryptoMixer doesn't mean that it won't happen to any other platform.

IMHO, I think all of the recent hacking incidents are a clear message that no system is totally safe on the open Internet, All is subjected to flaws and vulnerabilities thats why dont rely much on any platform's security, we the users should also be vigilant all the time, just in case the platform that we use was hacked we should know already what to do keep safe. I hope the Platform will not leave its users hanging by these recent hacking incidents.

A computer security expert once said that no system is 100% hack proof and I believed him. As far as people built security, there would be a way to tear it down. The issue of security in crypto doesn't just span to service providers. Users too, have to do their bit to ensure safety of their funds at all times. Sorry to CryptoMixer team and affected users. Can't say they'll be trusted the way they were before the attack happened.
43  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will drop to 20k is not time to buy btc now on: April 22, 2021, 10:53:51 PM
Buying BTC now is extremly risky. This is a bubble what we see now.  Soon the prices will drop to 20k then buy BTC.
But now is not the time at the end of the bull run.

Soon we'll reach good point to buy at 20k btc this good price.
now is high price i wouldn't put 60k on btc.
but is good time to buy altcoins that can make you x2-5x

Since there is no clear, cut out way of knowing the exact top in this bullish market, I can't say that your advice/suggestion is totally legit because you didn't back it up with anything, not even with analysis whether technical or fundamental based analysis. I have decided to go all in on Bitcoin and I will be buying more Bitcoin even if the price goes down although I'll appreciate if the price continues its upward trend at least for another 6 months before a hard correction. You mentioned altcoins give faster and higher roi but you failed to major they've more risks if compared to btc.
44  Economy / Speculation / Re: A new ballgame, many new coming in and buying including institutional investors on: April 22, 2021, 10:47:32 PM
Definitely think it's a definitely think it's a new ballgame, we have to remember so many new coming in and buying including institutional investors.

Don't think much chance of it going any lower

All I can say is that Bitcoin price is definitely going to be worth a lot more in the near future. I'm talking about 100-300% increase from the current price. The new money coming into Bitcoin and flowing into other altcoins is enough to push bitcoin price even further to a new height. But I want to be mindful of the fact that the market would behave the way it wants to. That is why I will not completely rule out the possibility of the price going back to the $45K - $48K support in the interim. For now, there have been fewer bitcoin inflows which indicates less selling pressure.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do you trust centralized exchanges? on: April 22, 2021, 09:59:08 PM
No I don't trust centralized exchanges completely, cause at any point in time they can just close their doors and run away with users money on the exchange's account, it has happened so many times not once or twice that's why I can't fully trust any centralized exchange, they can also decide to lock up your account any time they like just like the reports have been seeing around about coinbase freezing users accounts, things like that scares me honestly.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Sovryn - price prediction when public sale will be open on: April 21, 2021, 11:59:07 PM
i have followed sovryn since the bounty, they made a very good project, even after reading the whitepaper, i am sure that this project will explode and succeed, it is proven that they managed to get a lot of investors who invest their money in the project sovryn. I think when Sovryn is release later, the price of Sovryn itself will be quite expensive in the market maybe around $0.5-1 on the day of its release.
Hey you, STFU and go to the https://live.sovryn.app/

It's clearly said if you didn't even watched this project and you are only creating another non sense post. Where are you getting 50 cents - 1 dollar range for the price of SOV token?
Are you drunk or what?

Read before try to make a post!

It's quite funny though. How he talks about actively following the project updates yet he missed one of the most important updates that sovryn has had in last two weeks including when trading started on April 13th. Anyway, I'm considering staking my sov tokens. Would I be better off providing liquidity with them going straight to the staking proper? I don't know if you have any tips that could help. Sovryn would be reaching the top soon. I estimate $1B marketcap in the near future thanks to the slow emissions too.
47  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you determine potential profit? For risk:reward ratio on: April 21, 2021, 11:02:03 PM
I get that generally your risk amount should be at a previous support and within the amount you're willing to risk but how exactly do you determine potential profits?

Would it be at a previous resistance?

What if it's a new high and there is no previous resistance, would it then be at certain price points?

If you have the fibonacci extension tool, you can use it to determine certain sell or take profit zones then all you have to do is simply place orders art those price levels. Usually, when there's an all time high, there's no sure fire way to know these levels but tools like the fibonacci extensions can help you with some possible selling zones. But I would advise you to start taking some profits whenever price crosses a resistance and creates a new all time high. You can start selling some percentages as the price continues on the upward parts.

48  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does that mean trading is more popular than social media now? on: April 21, 2021, 10:51:24 PM
Clearly crypto is off with a flying start, and topping the charts will prompt others to check what these apps are all about, meaning sooner or later more people will be jumping on this boat!

I have no doubt that crypto is basically the most popular topic on the planet and also the most popular topic being discussed on social media as well. But I do not think that crypto is more popular than social media since the number of social media users surpasses that of crypto by a huge margin. A possible explanation for why both Robinhood and Coinbase trading apps are topping the charts is because more and more people are constantly searching for both apps on the Apple app store more than they are searching for other apps. Crypto is big but it still not quite there yet.
49  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My 0,03btc---->1btc challenge on: April 20, 2021, 11:59:21 PM
Yet another trading challenge? I'll keep an eye for further updates if OP would be willing to drop some from time to time about how far he's gone for the journey. It would also go a long way if you could share the analysis you make before comingup with your decision to take up those new positions and also how you find the next asset to trade. From 0.03 btc to 0.17btc is a huge leap already, nearly 6x but definitely above 5x increase your starting capital. Also good luck on your challenge, I hope you get to reach your target.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Learn to appreciate the DIP. on: April 20, 2021, 09:23:43 PM
I'm a big fan of buying dips, noobs in crypto will probably be displeased cause they heard crypto only moons, so when there a dip/correction in the market they feel very sad that their cryptocurrency in USD value is not growing, noobs have no idea how the market works cause if they do, they won't be moved to sell at those dips rather they will be motivated to the dip.
What does everyone thing about the dip?
Whenever I see dips I see buy opportunities, bitcoin reached a new ATH so I was expecting a dip anyway, glad I have bought some coins during the dip and they are already up and I'm profit, dips are the best time to buy or accumulate a particular coin.

51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Ethereum GAS fee so high? on: April 20, 2021, 09:09:48 PM
Why ethereum GAS fee is so high?
Is there any possibility of fee reduction?
What are the factors are responsible for increasing or decreasing the fee?
Currently Ethereum gas fee have skyrocketed since Ethereum prices are pumping and there are so many transactions happening on the Ethereum Network, the blockchain is congested since the transactions are way too much, which we all know it can't process them all once, that why the fees have been insanely higher through this bull run, the only way the TX can be reduced is when Ethereum release the ETH 2.0 upgrade and it's not in sight as at the moment writing this,if you want to pay lesser transactions fees make transaction at night when there are lesser people making transactions or when the Ethereum blockchain is less congested.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What goes up must come down on: April 20, 2021, 08:58:19 PM
Why are you scared of only those people who bought bitcoin at $4,000?, there are people who are in possession of thousands of bitcoins since 2009 and yet they haven't dumped it and you are scared of $4000 buyers, what goes up will surely come down/correct that's the philosophy of the market, price can't keep pushing upward forever there's bound to be bearish seasons or downtrend, even the $4000 people decide to Cashout then it's up to them if they want to sell their big for a mere $56000 when they can hold and sell at $100,000,its a matter if choice but don't think everyone is a weak hand like you.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 20th April dogecoin day on: April 19, 2021, 11:59:19 PM
I am really not believing that dogecoin can reach like 0.4$ but it has been happened, the credit to Elon because of is all view point of crypto and support giving more boost and  I hope dogecoin can reach 1$ very soon.
No one can know what the price movement for DOGE will be today on doge coin which so happen to be doge coin day. But like other holders, I'm expecting the price to surge to a new price level, preferably a new all time high before the day finally comes to an end.

No one did believe that dogecoin would be one of the biggest cryptos in the world in this bull as there are most better and feature rich projects comparing to doge.
54  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin last till infinity on: April 19, 2021, 11:39:00 PM
I believed that bitcoin will not last because of government policy is against bitcoin and many people is seeing bitcoin as a scam, so with such points I don't think bitcoin will stay till 2030, and if bitcoin stay till then that means it will stay till further notice.
Please am not here to criticised cryptocurrency but from the attacks government attacks crypto I think such will come in reality.

Government has been trying to get rid of Bitcoin from the onset and they haven't been able to truly fo anything about it and they won't be able to do anything stop bitcoin not even in the near future or in 2030 like you mentioned. At best, government can only make up bad press media about Bitcoin that would go as far as bringing the price down. Other than that, government won't be able to stop Bitcoin's network from operating as it is.  2030 is just a decade away and there were many talks about government ending crypto in the past decade and it didn't work, still won't because Bitcoin is stronger than ever.
55  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Money laundering via BTC on: April 18, 2021, 09:13:42 PM
Hi guys ! My name’s Dave.
ข่าวกีฬา
Is it possible to do money laundering via bitcoin? I mean as no one knows if you have bitcoin and how much bitcoin do you actually own, it could be used to convert black money to white right? Or at least store your black money without much hassle. But there is the risk of its value but I think for people who have lots of black money and don't want to be caught, this risk might be worth taking for them isn't it?
What are your thoughts?

Money laundering is possible to achieve using bitcoin or other crypto coins. Usage of non custodial wallets, coin mixing services and other techniques helps with privacy and this in turn is beneficial to people who intend to use Bitcoin for such  a venture. I need to mention that there have been several cases of money laundering aside from the few ones we see in the media. Dealers can make use of p2p services to wrap up deals like that thanks to Bitcoin . That is why I said it is very much possible. It's easy too since anybody can send anybody funds without knowing the origin.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who Benefited from AME Token? on: April 15, 2021, 11:59:29 PM
Say has done research on Ame. currently they are doing Staking program with high APY of more than 200%. besides launching the Amekart platform for now. in terms of market now it's pretty good. but unfortunately those in this forum get negative trust. I don't understand what this problem is, but what is clear is that if we invest and it turns out that they are not fundamentally good enough to consider it first

The project is good and have relatively good service offerings compared to other projects but they lack sound marketing strategies that should put them on the list of top new crypto projects to keep an eye on. Also, another point is that their team has been delaying developments from time to time. I do understand that it's for the community's best so I'm not entirely disappointed with the progress as they have delivered all promises even though it's often delayed.

Ame token ? Never heard of it probably after i read this well i think i just need to do little research and fill my bag thanks lads

It's a new project that's why you are yet to learn about them. Use some of your spare time to check it out.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My first two ICOs will be Mina and ECO. Good idea? on: April 15, 2021, 11:38:24 PM
Good luck if you success get MINA coin on coinlist ICO because price going up more higher price, I think hard for me to buy ICO on coinlst because more than many trader and investor are waiting for with this ICO moment. Maybe buy on first time listing for MINA coin is the best option and hope price still worth.

Investing in coinlist token sales are very difficult and daunting task to carry on. As if the queuing and waiting time to even enter the site isn't enough, we still have to compete with over 200K+ people. I tried it first during Casper token sale and I was unlucky not to get in. I thought I would have better luck with Mina protocol since they reduced the maximum contribution limit to $500. Yet I was still unlucky. I haven't had any lucks so far. Has anybody been able to participating in any of these sales? If so, how did you do it?

- Arriving before the sale to get a random spot in queue?
- Arriving exactly or immediately after the sales start?

I would love to know. Need to find out what I am doing wrong.
58  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is private and decentralized, ok but what if someone dies? on: April 15, 2021, 11:09:56 PM
Sorry for your loss . It's unfortunate to hear that he was a crypto enthusiast who might have had some assets that can't be accessed since his passing. While Bitcoin solved plenty of financial problems, it has a few downsides of its own. Since everybody can essentially be their own bank, they're tasked with keeping these accounts secured and backed up for majority of the time. The best way to handle situations like this is to make them aware that you've a crypto portfolio and that they should ONLY access it in an event that you're unable to. That's it.
59  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Saving asset in bitcoin is much more better than saving in banks on: April 15, 2021, 10:59:41 PM
As my country's currency is dying because of heavy corruption in the government circles, 99% of my assets are now in crypto diversified. The more I own fiat in the bank, the less purchasing power I have. People will in the future come to realize they were told a lie by bankers and it would be very late.

You are lucky to have discovered this early and made the best move to keep majority of your portfolio holdings in crypto. I don't know if we're talking of the same country but mine also took crazy steps to pump in more money out of thin air into the circulation thereby creating more inflation. I'm thankful because I was already a crypto enthusiast so I would be very prepared for what comes next. Nothing beats being the only one to make crucial decisions about my finances.  Bitcoin takes finances to a whole new level for me.
60  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC losing its dominance big time on: April 15, 2021, 10:38:55 AM
Bitcoin dominance keeps dropping mates  Grin ,I think we are definitely in for altcoin bullish season starting from any time now, oops sorry it has already began lol but mind you it's never too late, I heard many missed the train in 2017 well here we are again, it's happening right under your nose, safe yourself some sorry later and take risks now

Didn't altseason started several months ago? Bitcoin's dominance was above 68 sometime in August - September last year. The fact that it dropped to this low of 50s shows that altcoins growth have dragged the dominance down a great deal. If you guys think this is is just starting, I wonder how low you guys think Bitcoin's dominance would be when altseason for this bull run peaks. 20 - 25 likely? That looks unlikely to happen but this is crypto. Judging from ETH and BNB keeps jumping in price and how new tokens gets added, I won't be that much surprised. This is crypto. But I think altseason started a long time again like November last year or so.
