41  Economy / Speculation / Re: anybody buying some Bitcoin lately? on: February 12, 2019, 11:20:45 PM
As we all see now - it was necessary to buy yesterday when the price of bitcoin was somewhere around 3350. But in any case, even if someone decides to buy bitcoin right now, he will have every chance to get his x3 this year. The price is still damn low. Join the Bitcoin community right now if you still haven't done so.

Bitcoin has been trending down since the 20K mark. Sure it went up a few hundred bucks today but it is still trending downwards. If you buy bitcoin today it will likely go down more. Best wait until the chart shows an uptrend for the buying and holding strategy.
It is way better to begin buying when the price is still going down, it may seem crazy but now the risk the price will go much lower is not that high so the risk you are taking is not that big and the rewards that you can get out of it are great, so I do not see the need to wait anymore, if you like bitcoin this can be the perfect moment to buy it.
42  Economy / Economics / Re: Know Your Customer on: February 12, 2019, 11:01:57 PM
KYC right now become usual and i think its good for cryptomarket. I think doing KYC is good to comply with government regulation. Most people and government think cryptocurrency is for money laundering and i think with KYC, people can erase negative thinking about cryptocurrency
I have the opposite view governments are seeing that cryptocurrencies are a threat because there is a small chance that people will choose a form of money that is free of their intervention and they are deciding to take action against all of those that are taking the risk to adopt such volatile coins, in my opinion KYC is bad for the market and the governments know this.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You've earned tons of tokens, NOW WHAT? on: February 12, 2019, 10:49:45 PM
each person has their own ideas what to do with the earned coins, but in my opinion if the project is really high quality then the coins need to be kept for a long time until you get a big profit, you need to keep at least part of these coins and the rest can be sold
Most of the tokens that people get after the campaign are not worth to keep for any amount of time and there have been many cases in which the coins never got any value at all or were never accepted in any exchange, so most of the time even if you are lucky to get your tokens there is nothing to do with them and no one will buy them at any price.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should ICOs be regulated on: February 12, 2019, 10:24:49 PM
Regulation for whole crypto market is a bad solution to my mind. In case of regulation we will stop gaining money.
You know, lack of regulation is something what I appreciate in crypto
That is not the reason why regulation is going to be bad for this market, it seems that everyone is thinking only on their own benefit and nothing more, regulations will be bad for this market because that is what this market is trying to avoid, bitcoin was created as a way to move your money without the need to ask for permission to any government or bank.
45  Economy / Economics / Re: What do you think about crypto currency issued by the government? on: February 07, 2019, 11:01:25 PM
they make crypto currencies themselves because they want to have control over their currencies. this is contrary to decentralized crypto currencies. although I think they will have difficulties regarding the anonymity of their users.
NO, I beg to disagree with this point. I think the government issued crypto will be facing a lot of issues especially with the other currencies like US dollars. There was a concern regarding with the purchasing power of US dollars using crypto. And this is why the United States of America made some ways to avoid putting other countries to bypass in purchasing US dollars using crypto based and dollar exchange.
Any cryptocurrency created by a government will be the same as their fiat but with even bigger problems for us since they will be capable of inserting all kind of malicious code in their coin that you cannot see so if they decide to confiscate your money they could do it very easily so it will be a mistake for anyone that appreciates freedom to support a coin created by any government.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Concerning the future of bounty programs on: February 07, 2019, 10:57:24 PM
I supported what Btcmaster said because the purpose of bounty campaign is advertise the project, gain new investors/community support and increase the current circulation token/coin. But, it unfortunate that some people abuse the benefits of bounties. However, forum moderators won't stop bounty and can only tighten the terms and conditions.
I am not talking about the forum moderators but about the administrator of the forum, he can do as he pleases with the forum and if at some point he has enough of it and believes there is no way to stop all of those that are abusing the forum then he could just ban all forms of promotion in the forum, that is a possibility and there is no point in closing your eyes to that fact.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is this just a bounce? on: February 07, 2019, 10:50:22 PM
This is very normal because the market is not stable and this makes everyone confused. But I trade every day and can make a little profit. But this is also not easy to do and we must be able to play fast and carefully.
Becoming a day trader can be a profitable thing to do but it is not something everyone can do, in theory it seems easy you only need to buy low and sell high but the majority of those that have tried to become professional traders have failed and that is because they do not really know anything about the subject when they begin and they realize their mistake too late once they have lost all their money.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC bear market over????? on: February 07, 2019, 10:29:19 PM
the market is still down looks like bear market is not over, it could be down for more, but I still believe the market will bounce back this year.
The price will definitely recover and will bounce back but I do not believe like many people do in the forum that we will see a bull market in this year, in my opinion the bull market will not appear until 2020 and it is possible we could not see it until 2021, many do not agree with me because that means another year or two of a bear market but that is what I believe.
49  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Do You Think 2019 Will Be Different? on: February 07, 2019, 10:08:15 PM
This year will be definitely different from the year of 2018 but that does not mean that it will be the same as the year of 2017 as many are expecting, this year is probably going to be one in which the market will still move but not much and this will give us the opportunity to buy coins for reasonable and stable prices, so it will be a good year for those willing to take a risk and buy before the price skyrockets.
50  Economy / Economics / Re: welcome bulls , Bye bears on: February 05, 2019, 11:47:14 PM
This year I didn't get that much profits only thing I did was holding my investments , I hope all my patience will pay off next year and there will be bull market and I make more profits  Grin

many investors are in same hope only ?? I would like to know what you guys think about next year,
Probably it is not going to happen much during this year, I sincerely hope I am mistaken but I find that difficult to believe, not much will happen since many people are afraid to invest much money at least for this year, but the good news is that the halving will happen during 2020 and together with other good news that could create another bull market.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which Coins are a great LONG-TERM investment ???? on: February 05, 2019, 11:29:39 PM
for me myself, of course, long-term bitcoin and ethereum coins, because these two coins have great potential and are widely used by investors as long-term investments
I agree, if you goal is to hold your coins for the long term then there is no need to take a risk with a coin nobody really knows, it is way better to stay with the coins in which everyone has a high level of trust and I cannot think of any two better coins than bitcoin and ethereum, if you want you could buy some litecoin as well but that should be enough diversification for those looking to hold for the long term.
52  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's stop comparing Bitcoin to Ethereum or any other Cryptos on: February 05, 2019, 11:07:05 PM
I always see this thread BTC vs. ETH and others, I don't know what is on their mind that bitcoin is the mother of all other crypto currencies, so I'm not interested in getting into the thread that compares it, I also firmly say once again all crypto currencies have a pair with BTC in an exchange site

That is never going to stop, I know that some people are tired of seeing threads like that in the forum, but as long as those two coins are at the top of the market cap then you are going to see comparisons among them and this is especially true since many believers in ETH have maintained for a long time that ETH is going to eventually surpass BTC.
53  Economy / Economics / Re: Where should we focus this year? on: February 05, 2019, 10:41:10 PM
It is funny to see this scenario play out almost to a T.  Someone approaches me like this about every 2-3 weeks.
This happened to me especially at the end of 2017 when the whole market was skyrocketing and suddenly everyone wanted to become an expert on cryptocurrencies and since my friends knew i was interested in the topic I got asked many questions about it, I warned them that it was too late and that they should not invest in the market at that moment, some listened and some did not and even when I warned them to not do it some blamed me for their losses.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you selling your altcoins so soon? on: February 05, 2019, 10:31:03 PM
I here and see that a lot of people are selling their altcoins for this reason or for that reason. In some cases I here that people are even spending their altcoins to buy Bitcoin. Now that one really has me confused. To me it’s way to early to be selling your altcoins. It’s like selling an original painting before it even gains in value or while it is still gaining in value. What smart investor does that unless they are selling out of fear or because they are desperate. For me I am holding all of my coins for now because it is way to early to even think about selling your altcoins; what say you?

What you are saying is true but only if the altcoin that you bought is good and original but if it is just a clone of another coin that was depending on hype to try to make money then such an altcoin will surely crash and if anything the ones that are selling their coins now waited for too long and are probably lamenting that they did not sold their coins any sooner.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DO WE NEED TO REGULATE ICOs? on: February 01, 2019, 10:16:21 PM
Let's wait for another year, because there might be any new features in ICOs regulation. At the moment those aren't regulated yet and it is so sad to know that.
By the way I am sure that after a certain period of time there will be regulation)
Some countries have already implemented regulations against icos while some other countries decided that everything was a scam and forbid their citizens to participate in them, it is not something I support but with the huge amount of scams and the refusal of people to do the minimum necessary to protect themselves from scammers I do not see how to change the situation without regulations.
56  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you regret it not selling at peaked on last jan 2018 ? on: February 01, 2019, 04:35:33 PM

what peak ? to be honest i didnt saw that coming  .  the price last year was not moving but for god sake i need to sell my btc's because i have a family that i need to feed and the best part was i didnt regret .  i will only regret if i bought btc at ath's and then i still hodl them until today  but yeah the value can soon recover   ,  the only problem is im not a patient person  and i cant wait for how many years in order for the price to fully recovered  .
This is an issue, investors know that they need to hold their coins in order to recover all the money that they have lost but the circumstances in their lives do not allow them to make the right decision and they need to sell even if they know the market will eventually recover, in my opinion that is a horrible thing because that means that you need to go against your desires and against what you know is right just because circumstances demanded it from you.
57  Economy / Economics / Re: Who is really hopeful about the future of Bitcoin and why? on: February 01, 2019, 03:46:44 PM
The  present long bearish market  trend  not withstanding,  BTC is here to  revolutionise the world, with digital currency,  on daily basis the number of  investors is on the increase, even in the bearish trend, the bull run will commence soon, thou we might not be able to to ascertain when, am confident and hopefull base on the relevance of BTC.
Bitcoin will change the world that much is clear to me, but it is completely natural for people to want to obtain benefits when such a huge revolution is coming, but many of those people are finding out that obtaining those benefits is a lot harder than what they thought because the volatility of bitcoin is so great that they can use a huge amount of their money in just a year and that is a problem for them.
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What are your expectations for ICOs in 2019? on: February 01, 2019, 03:20:06 PM
I do not expect anything from icos, I am not interested in them and if I am going to invest in a coin then that coin needs to have been in the market for some time, I know this is going to limit the amount of coins in which I can invest but to me that is a good thing since I do not have the money to invest in every single project that is released every day.
Nothing to expect for ICOs for this year. Most of them are drought and doesn't want to continue anymore. I've witnessed few projects to success during the bear market but until now there are quite good number of ICOs that are trying it hard. They are bound to think that it's not going to work out so they usually think that it's better to postpone the ICO and wait until the market gets better.
It is very obvious to me that the only reason developers are postponing their icos is because they believe that if the market improves they will get more money but people are very smart they are not going to let themselves be deceived by such a tactic, it doesn't matter to me if the market started to skyrocketed tomorrow I will not invest in any of those icos.
59  Economy / Economics / Re: What will you do with the current market? on: January 30, 2019, 10:59:33 PM
For me i would just be calm and be patient because this is normal in cryptocurrency, there will be always ups and down. Best thing to do is hold then wait for the bulls to comeback even if it take years or more.
It is very easy to say that we are going to remain calm under the current circumstances but anyone that invested at the end of the year of 2017 is going to have a lot of problems remaining calm when he has lost more than 80% of his investment in less than a year, I know that those that invested at that moment in time can still get profits if they hold long enough but those people never had the intention of doing something like that so remaining calm is going to be very difficult for them.
60  Economy / Economics / Re: If you had 10000$ on: January 30, 2019, 10:55:56 PM
All in BTC, don't be a fool like me and don't touch any shitcoin !
I fell into the smart contracts (ETH) hype Smiley now my ETH holdings are -80% down LOL

It's all about timing.
If you bought Bitcoin at $15k you could say bitcoin is a shitcoin and not touch it ever again.

I believe ETH will hit it's ATH again so I recently bought and am in profit.
I really do not think that ethereum is going to hit its all time high anytime soon but it is definitely one of the coins I am watching out because I'm sure that it is going to give profits to anyone that begins to buy that coin right now because the upgrade is getting very close and once it finally happens the price of ethereum will begin to go up very rapidly in response to the upgrade in the technology.
