Maybe I will surprise you, but if the United States slides into a recession, then the rest of the world will be there. Since the dollar is the main world currency, and in the event of any fluctuations with it, these problems quickly move to the rest of the world.

Agree. There was a dollar shortage for years now. So even if Fed printed trillions, it did not matter as the market absorbed that supply. But it's not like the Fed can keep printing and keep pumping markets. They have great powers but everything is finite and has limits.
I think sooner or later, this will take an ugly turn and a long impact on economy in a negative way.

China and Russia, ready to see the dollar crash. And dollar can not currency for global trade forever. Things evolve, powers shifts, which force realignment.

Leadership in western worlds lacks vision to curb Chinese influence, and it might be already very late to wake up to that reality.

hoping the CIA to turn China upside down from within their country. Coming years will be so crazy and we all will see a big tussle to remain or become a superpower in the world.
43  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Difficulty & Price prediction on: May 29, 2020, 04:03:31 AM
But now Bitcoin is telling who is the boss. Bitcoin still governs the market direction and structure. So even if Alts have good charts to trade, once bitcoin decides, it breaks the entire market structure for alts so fast.
44  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 29, 2020, 04:01:44 AM
Man, I had better never have 15 bitcoins on me in an airport. Government will just seize it like cash....

https://www.washingtonpost.com/travel/2020/05/28/man-missed-his-flight-logan-airport-then-authorities-discovered-138980-cash-his-bag

Oh wait, I forgot, it's *my* bitcoin, not the government's money. They want the key they can torture me for it.

Note: It is possible this was an international flight where you do have to declare >10k for customs purposes. But still this does not sound like a job for TSA....

in the past I have seen posts where people discussed the need to declare value if bitcoin you carry too.

Still, it's unclear whenever we cross-border, if we have bitcoin that needs to be declared. Because even if it's not a hardware wallet, I control my bitcoin through phone or basic internet. Similarly, I control fiat also through my phone in bank accounts or credit/debit cards of multiple countries.

So I don't think Bitcoin needs to be declared when you cross the boarder.
45  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Craig Steven Wright is a liar and a fraud - Tulip Trust addresses signed message on: May 29, 2020, 03:53:52 AM
I don't think it's good to make fun of Mr. Craig Wright. He's suffering from narcissistic personality disorder, a severe kind of mental illness. All he wanted was some attention. All he was speaking were white lies. No one in sane mind ever believed him. All he need is some medical and psychological assistance. Let's initiate a fund raising to support him for his medical expanses.

I don't think he lacks attention, he is getting attention more than what he deserves for years now. Either you are being sarcastic about fundraising to support him. He has enough BSV to pump and get himself checked.

Simple, he is insane and a liar. I think soon, he will be in jail.

As time passes and we have more posts in the forum, we need more merits. That's why we have merit sources in the forum.

I have been hearing this argument for years now. nothing changed. Bad actors using system to get merits, however, true crypto believers are weeded out of the system. Soon this forum will be left with only scammers and they have motivation to increase merits to earn from this portal via bounties.
48  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Difficulty & Price prediction on: May 25, 2020, 08:15:55 PM
its nothing to do with the transactions. This cycle of money moving from bitcoin to altcoin is happening forever. Move and money in alts now, then move to bitcoin and repeat.

Do you know that at the same time USD rises and strengthens its' value in some countries? Can you imagine that even though USD is printing money like a rocket, it's gaining value in some countries? Sounds paradoxical?

It's funny but it's true. If US print money, other currencies lose value. That's by design in the current financial system. And that's why we are in crypto to bring the new age financial and monetary system for the future.
51  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Difficulty & Price prediction on: May 25, 2020, 06:49:12 PM
Yes, mining difficulty does play its role in bitcoin price but it's not reflected in real-time.
Bitcoin is a whale game, now it will range till alts complete their cycle. Thats why recent price dump did not break price structure for many of the alts. Alts are still pumping.
Once we will be out of that cycle, Bitcoin price will start moving in a trend.
Thats what i see happening
