That's a lot of data leaked from Ledger server. Users are going to receive lot of spam emails like newsletters, phishing mails and lot more. What's best for them to do is to change their email address right away because their emails are going to be a target for hackers. Ledger should do good about securing people's data well in the future.
I just dont like the way the situation was handled... The sentence, we cant go back in time, it happened. Oops. Lets think into the future. Like really, you leaked data, private data on an already sensitive field and you dont seem to care that people are being threatened and harrased by data that you leaked! It makes me mad how its all being handled! |

I have seen my small investment take a couple of hits when whales came out to play so there is always the risk that a whale comes to play, wins and leaves the site and takes them bitcoin with him...

that's some crazy news, all of them received emails saying that they're being watched and they should be scared for their lives, but it's just nonsense, i don't think people would go to someone's house to do god knows what, just for an unknown amount of money, people need to ignore those threats, it's better than responding with something that may trigger them.
Its easy to say as an outsider...  Just imagine you own a house, live their with your wife and kids and you receive threats that go against you and your family... Please tell me again, to just ignore them threats and move along with life like nothing is going on. Easy to say... |

Im not going to support or recommend a company that preaches security but leaks customer private data via an API and is terrible in letting users know.
They let us know that only a small portion was stolen and now after the fact let us know, oops its alot bigger portion.

Joke aside, what to say about all this that haven't been said before.. It is a shame that they are still market leaders and I am seriously considering getting something else, simply out of principle. Looks like a good package deal! Grab a ledger and hand out a glock with it, just in case your data ever gets leaked again as a new buyer... I do hope that it just stays at threats from random users per email and it doesnt become any worse and people do start coming by and robbing ledger users in the hope of grabbing the ledger and using it to steal coin. |

A person's address is generally public information, at least most of the time. I would not be terribly worried about my address being in this breach.
Of course the address is public information, but A) It doesnt say in the world wide web who lives there specifically B) It doesnt say anywhere (well now it does) that they are associated with Bitcoin C) All the info that goes with it, from phone number to email etc... This is a major breach even it does not include amounts held by certain person... |

My email appears on haveibeenpwned for the ledger breach, but not in the database search. What can that mean? Wondering where they are seeing it?
Same here. I have 2 lists. One list that has just emails in it, like 1.1million and another list that has emails,names, phone numbers and full addresses. Im not on the address one but Im on the email one. Thats fine I guess. Ill just ignore and block any kind of email scam attempt. Sucks nonetheless! PS: just received an email from ledger. |

I want Bayern to get into trouble. How long will we watch the one-sided Bundesliga? Every season I watch the Bundesliga, and at the end of the season, every time Bayern Munich wins the title. Leverkusen is in very good form this season. I want them to win the title. We will get a new champion.

 Brilliant! However, I am not sure who to blame since it says 5 data breaches. I have checked the email, and it seems they have my old phone number, and one of the address I live. I am annoyed. You can scroll down on the site and see the breaches your Email was in... and you will see something like this: Breaches you were pwned in.... I have changed emails multiple times and now my new one is clean, lets hope it stays that way. |

Being from Germany I hate Bayern München. Yes they play great Soccer and they have some great players, but being from Germany its all you hear about. If they play International Teams, Im for Bayern as I am mostly for the german team. Id just like to get the Table mixed up, so I would have loved for Leverkusen to win or at least tie to stay on top of the table... Damn it |
