661  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: GAMBLING SITE INVESTMENT on: June 28, 2020, 09:47:58 AM
Bustabit is a good site to invest into also. Yes its not a dice site per se but it has loads of volume and players. It has a dillution fee but I think volume wise its hard to find a site like it.
OP had already remove his investment with Bustadice, I think he is only focus now on one site which is Yolodice, what he is doing not is he YOLO on this gambling site. Poster above you has a point, he cited that investing in one site alone is not a wise idea since anytime they could go away and take your money, but then, since we are investing here, we also take it as gambling so we can afford what we will lose.

Bustabit not Bustadice.
Bustabit has alot more volume.

Maybe there is more to this story than meets the eye, maybe your theory about him pre-empting any possible action against him (by mentioning suicide) might have some weight.

It does seems somewhat strange for someone to have over $2 million in winnings then show/claim signs of depression or confusion.

How do we know he wasnt fighting those battles before he won the 2million?
We are on the internet, we dont know who is sitting on the other end and what that person is „fighting against“.
Rich people can be depressive also...
663  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Snipie's gambling investment test on: June 28, 2020, 09:42:02 AM
My small investment has been red since the start. It got worse and now slowly the losses are reducing. I expect it to be red for about 2 weeks or so and then it should turn green. Theres always going to be variance, whales or bigger gamblers winning.
In the end the house wins, so just be patient

Of course. Judging by his bets and such I think he wasnt poor to start off with. But winning that amount puts pressure on you. Friends begging for money, family could start begging for money. It was overwhelming, I hope for his sake it was just a saying and he is happily enjoying life with his great winnings!-
666  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustabit – The original crash game on: June 26, 2020, 11:13:23 AM
I wouldnt go that far. Of course its a huge change having that money from one moment to the other. I mean that
Money is love changing! There are people that win the lottery and become suicidal, they dont know How to act with all the money towards friends and family.
667  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Snipie's gambling investment test on: June 24, 2020, 11:11:31 AM
Well this is simple. Maybe I said it in a way that I complicated it too much.

Gambling site earns on house edge (statistic advantage over gamblers). For dice it is most often 1%. So if total wager from all gamblers is lets say 1000 BTC, gambling site will most likely earn ~10 BTC. In yolodice
50% of these funds are allocated to investors - 5BTC.

Now if there is 200 BTC currently investment by all investors and you invested 2 BTC than your earning will be:

2/200 * 5 = 0.05 BTC

But if there is not 200 BTC but only 20 BTC currently invested by all investors

2/20 * 5 = 0.5 BTC

And now to actual data on yolodice:

BTC Currently invested - 218 BTC
ETH Currently invested - 2299.48040977 ETH = 58 BTC
LTC Currently invested - 9123.78625175 LTC = 41 BTC
DOGE Currently invested - 78263418.22757039 DOGE = 20 BTC

So gambling site total gambling volume on BTC has to be 10x bigger than DOGE gambling volume to give the same ROI. So as an investor willing ot optimize your investment you should compare gambling volume vs total investments on each coin and also calculate currency risk into it - doge is unpredictable while BTC is considered as safe-haven.

Thanks for the great explanation, even I understood. Wink
There is no data of volume on each coin, correct?
668  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Snipie's gambling investment test on: June 24, 2020, 08:59:26 AM
I put in a small amount also just to give it a test and its been up and down for a while.
I started off red for a while, it turned green yesterday (I got excited) only to wake up to it being red again. Haha

Oh well, in it for the long run  Grin

You do not need to wait for a long time. As long as you can see the green, you can close the investment and start with another investment. You should play safely in the investment so you can make a profit. No matter if the profit is small, if you can make it more often, your profit will become bigger.

But yes, maybe the red will stay for a day before the green will come again, so you need to be patient.

Does that make sense though?
As soon as I hit a small profit pull out and reinvest?

670  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Covid-19 effects on Bitcoin on: June 24, 2020, 06:52:06 AM
Will the upcoming Bitcoin halving be a non-event due to the state of the world economy affected by COVID-19 ?

I think you mean the Halving that already happened?
The next halving will be ETA 10 May 2024.... thats a long time, I sure hope Covid will be History by then!

The halving that happened in the middle of May 2020 kind of got overshadowed by Covid. No super high price bounce, but it wasnt about the price bounce for me, I was happy to see Bitcoin moving along.

Klasse Artikel!

Danke!
673  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Planning to make a mining rig on: June 23, 2020, 05:44:54 AM
when you mine, you mine to hold your coins and take a gamble they will reach multiples of what the current price is. if youre mining to pay your electricity bill, dont bother

This is the only reasonable way to answer OPs question...
Unless you get the electricity for free or super cheap you wont be able to make a profit when paying too much for the electricity.

Now on the other hand, if you are mining and plan on keeping the ALT waiting for a multiplication that is a good way to go. But its still a gamble.

Such articles appeared earlier and will continue to appear because the print press needs to earn money with something, and they do everything so that you click on the article and see all the advertising banners from which they will receive at least some money for a living.

Yes panic and sex sells.
It has always been a top hit, which is why media and companies will always use it to get attention and make you click on their news article.
Most sites are so full of ads now, so they really want you to click and spend time on the site.

Guys there is no reason for such a fuss, if you want something graded just contact support and ask for a Sportsbook Manager, we will help you as soon as possible Smiley

It happens that some markets don't get graded instantly but we are here to help.

We are just a click away, just contact us with your bet ID and everything will be just fine Smiley

I know so now, but I talked to 2 supporters in chat which told me to be patient.
I will now ask for manager to get things done for me Smiley
676  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: GAMBLING SITE INVESTMENT on: June 23, 2020, 05:36:51 AM
I dont think it would be a wise decision to invest with any other currency other than BTC.

All the altcoins are so tightly locked to Bitcoin... I mean if Bitcoin goes up, so do ALTs, Bitcoin goes down so ALTs, mostly harder.
So in case that does happen, you will be in race to get your ALTs out to sell them off.
677  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com | Crypto Powered Sportsbook and Casino | 🎰 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 🎲 on: June 21, 2020, 01:55:22 PM
It wasnt a live bet. It was a bet made before the match started. I was just used to 1st half bets being graded after the half was over. Was unexpected to see and be told by support I would have to be more patient and then see it be graded after the game.
678  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Snipie's gambling investment test on: June 20, 2020, 11:13:15 AM
I think its a normal thing.
There will always be ups and downs in investments, short term there will always be ups and downs, therefore its probably wise not to be that worried about short term losses as the investment should be long term.
679  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The media is really bored - June 21st world is ending (FALSE) on: June 19, 2020, 09:32:53 PM
The media will report on anything that will get them attention and will report anything that they are told to report. If its a popular subject or will receive alot of Attention they want to report on it and of course be the first one to report on it! It makes them money!

Some of the markets that are being played on Live betting are in control only by our provider, we can only settle markets that are available during pre-match as well. Maybe that is the reason, can you tell me what market did you play?

It was the 1st half -1 Asian handicap on Bayern Munich vs Werder Bremen.
It was a 1-0 half time score, was a push. I just wanted it graded as I wanted to use that amount to bet.
My half time bet got graded at full time?
