41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should there be a time limit for coin swap? on: April 22, 2019, 12:10:07 PM
The responsibility is on you, devs can't wait around for years to do a coin swap.  Your money is on the line so you should constantly be checking for updates, one month is more than enough time in my book.
42  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is there any real way to earn bitcoin without investment? on: April 22, 2019, 12:08:08 PM
If you asked this question in 2015, I would recommend faucets. However,  because of the high price of Bitcoin, they are dried. Cheesy

You can develop your account here and join the signature programs. Also, you can join some bounty (social media campaigns, etc.) program of new altcoins.

You need to dig the forum and find out the best way for you.

Faucets still may be worthwhile if you can get in on the ground floor of new altcoins.  For bitcoin it is a complete waste of time but its really insane that you used to be able to claim five bitcoins a day back in the day.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will EOS fly to the moon like BNB soon?! on: April 22, 2019, 12:03:13 PM
I do not EOS because they are centralized and are able to freeze user funds anytime they want.  Could you imagine if bitcoin or ethereum had a function like this?  Goes against the main principle of crypto currency.
44  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Number of Blockchain wallet users are now above 35 million on: April 22, 2019, 11:58:32 AM
Don't forget that a lot of people are using multiple wallets so the percentage of total population that is using bitcoin is very small.  I know the total marketcap seems huge buts its still a drop in the bucket compared to dollars.
45  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The reason mining was banned in China on: April 21, 2019, 12:40:47 PM
This was mostly just fud, China banning bitcoin and mining has been supposedly been happening for years but they never actually go through wit hit.Economically speaking it dosen't make sense for a country to go and ban bitcoin when it will help bring in new businesses.
46  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why trading is unhealthy? on: April 21, 2019, 06:53:55 AM
I always make sure to have a good posture while on the computer and take constant breaks.  Constant screen staring when trading can take a real tole on your health.  I also take a few days per week off and go more outdoor activities.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Putting idle money to work... Free Electricity- What GPU Mining Rigs to build? on: April 21, 2019, 06:51:26 AM
Even with free electricity you will make more money  form buying coins instead of buying minres.  Don't fall for those marketing campaigns, buying gear is like the people that made money from the gold rush.  Remember the minres didnt make the money it was the suppliers of equipment.
48  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can be useful for a troubled economy on: April 21, 2019, 06:46:39 AM
Its clear that countries like Venezuela can greatly benefit from crypto.  Trusting government in those types of countries is out the window with their ridiculous money printing habits.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The End of Bear Market, Confirmed!! on: April 21, 2019, 06:45:13 AM
I still see a lot of experts saying that bitcoin may actually touch a new bottom sometime within the next few months.  I would like to see bitcoin go under 3k again, that would give me a nice opportunity to pick up some more cheap coins.
50  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A city in Canada is letting people pay taxes in Bitcoin on: April 21, 2019, 06:44:21 AM
Canada has always been more progressive than the United States, this doesn't surprise me in the slightest.  They have better healthcare, better technology infrrastructure, and a cleaner environment.  I did however hear of Ohio accepting tax payments in bitcoin.  That has been the only state in the United States so far.
51  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is downloading money into your PC on: April 21, 2019, 06:41:35 AM
The people back in the early days were essentially just printing money from nothing.  You could mine on a weak ass pc or even a gaming console if you wanted to.  Those days are long gone with big boy farms taking over everything with asics.
52  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fun stuff to do with bitcoin? on: April 21, 2019, 06:40:50 AM
The funnest thing to do is to play dice games, or do some sports betting with bitcoin.  It is really exciting to see your bitcoin grow rapidly from a small amount.  Just be careful and don't over extend yourself.  Gambling should be treated as a hobby and not a stable source of money.
53  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2018 In Bitcoin [ The Year Is Over ] on: April 21, 2019, 06:39:51 AM
2018 without a doubt was a rough year for crypto ivnestors.  I've seen suicide hotlines on crypto reddits and forums and people doing very irrational things because of the falling prices.  So far things are starting to look up but we still have a long way to go to reach those all time highs.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New opportunities? on: April 21, 2019, 06:38:59 AM
Looking back in the past is regrets is no way to live life and people always think its too late to invest in something.  Just because Amazon is over 1000 dollars or bitcoin is over 5000 dollars they believe they missed  the boat.  Best time to invest was yesterday, 2nd best time is today!!!
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you have to take risks. on: April 21, 2019, 06:37:46 AM
Its generally advised to not put a large portion of your money into crypto.  Always put the majority into sold things like bonds, gold, and property.  I'm as optimistic as anyone here but you should never put all your eggs into one basket.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Price is not everything! on: April 21, 2019, 06:36:55 AM
Price is a very good indicator of how much potential profit you can make.  Bitcoin has such a large marketcap right now that it is very difficult to push the price up compared to a very low cap coin that can increase 10x fold with very little investment.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I deposit 37001 whitecoins to cryptopia exchange this week by mistake on: April 21, 2019, 06:36:07 AM
Cryptopia has a really shady past and I would avoid using it.  Stick with good exchanges like yobit, binance, gemini, kucoin.  There are a lot of good options out there that dont even make you do a kyc to deposit and withdraw.
58  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Never give up on: April 21, 2019, 06:34:28 AM
Crypto can be very stressful for you, if you have a weak heart I would not enter this market. The hodlers are always rewarded in the end so all you have to do is be patient if you want the real rewards.
59  Economy / Speculation / Re: Realistic Predictions for Bitcoin? on: April 21, 2019, 06:33:43 AM
First off, John Mcafees 1 million prediction is ridiculous.  Not saying it wont happen but it will take much longer than he said.  It will take at least 20 years if that ever does happen.  I do think it can go back to 20k this year though.
60  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: South Korean Government Considers Relaxing Cryptocurrency Regulations on: April 21, 2019, 06:19:57 AM
South Korea is one of those nations that desperately needs the economic stimulus that crypto can provide.  The countries that are the most lenient in regards to crypto will attract investment from those newly created millionaires.
