Value is in the eye of the beholder.  People buy wedding rings for millions of dollars that essentially have very little real value.  Just look at Mariah Carey's 10 million dollar wedding ring, most people think that is insane but its normal for her.  Same goes for bitcoin.

I don't think these exchanges care at all about bad actors or scammy projects.  I really do think bribe money has been going around to get SV delisted, Ver might be throwing around money to them.

ls400 is one of the greatest cars ever made.  Easily goes 500k miles. Would take it over most modern cars.

The mercedes benz sold in America are shit and break down after a few years, lexus/toyota over bmw and mercedes all day.

I think moderators who get paid for helping keep this place clean would disagree with that statement.  It is quite an achievement what was built here and theymos using advertiser funds to help make this community better well into the future doesn't seem like greed to me.
I was under the impression that mods didn't make much money for their efforts.  I've never heard anyone mention the pay rate (nor do I expect to, as it's none of my business), but in any case I don't think it's a huge expense for the forum.  Correct me if I'm wrong.

I didn't say moderators were a huge expense to the forum.  I said they get paid and that I believe they don't think theymos is greedy.

He is probably financially set and has millions upon millions.  You have to be wary of those that seek power though.  Even though this is just an internet forum people love to have control over something.  Reddit moderators that don't get paid love to have that small bit of power of controlling the narrative.  Even  people on the Default Trust group get off on having power over others.

Theymos may not be like this but just saying it is a possibility.

On Stamp 800 to 3500, 1250 to 4000.

We’re at $4,001 literally now

As long as I get rich I don’t care, I hate to be so brutally honest.

Anyone can get rich, what matters is what you build for society and if you are remembered.

By ownership I mean not having to work.  IF you are a self employed person that runs a shop thats a whole different story.

The way I see it there isn't really a middle class. It is mainly 2 classes, those that have to work for an hourly wage and those that can live doing no work because they get paid because of ownership.(stocks, property, etc)

You set a target in your life. (That usually happens when you are in high school or earlier. The earlier the better.)

If you are smart, the target should be achievable.

Most people with average intelligence usually reach their goals in life. (Making decent money, having a decent salary job, wife&kids, a yacht etc)

If you are smarter, you achieve your target faster than the others. A lot faster. That makes the real difference. I am not that smart but I can identify a smart guy instantly. Most people don't have that talent. :p
Hard work in smart way will make the things easier than others doing.Being in a decent salaried job is not a good achievement it is same as being a slave to king which makes no difference to being a slave to civilian. Do business and start cashflow on your own by hardwork don't work hard to make someone rich (job).

There are two classes, ownership and wage slaves.  You are correct if you are working for a salary you are pretty much a financial loser in the capitalistic society.  I don't think highly of people with money because they are usually scumbags but you have to be an owner if you want to be rich.

I hope this project turns out to be legit and isn't a scam like the Stone project.

It looks promising but I don't want to get my hopes up again.

The Flat Earth thread in off-topic is worth checking out, the pinnacle of shitposting.  You will be entertained without a doubt Smiley
78  Economy / Reputation / Re: Waiting for red tag "therealfalcon" alt of scammer + abuser on: December 14, 2018, 08:38:17 PM
I tagged 33bitcoin and blocksminer based on those scam accusations, which were never addressed--even though some of the e-mail/chat provided in the scam accusations is flimsy.  If either one of them can refute the scam claims, I'll remove those feedbacks.

This argument between Rambotnic and therealfalcon is just stupid.  First off, it sounds like therealfalcon is either overreacting to having some time wasted (welcome to the world) or is outright lying.  I'd like to see what evidence he has in the form of PM logs and such with Rambotnic.  I'd also like to see more solid evidence that therealfalcon is an alt account of 33bitcoin and/or blocksminer.  From what was posted here, I'm not convinced.

The accusation against me was blatantly false, just made up conversation with a made up transaction.  Was just a competing person that wanted to spread lies and ruin any business I had.  Would be great if you could remove the neg.

Life is too short to worry about small things, just let it go.
