Read above I already answered. In exchange like WCX team members hold private key, so there is security risk in revealing ID. In Tezos ICO etc there is no risk for team members.

If your developing an exchange it's of paramount importance that you identify your self and team with pictures and full names. Website looks thrown up pretty quickly and the white paper is mostly graphs. I hope the finished project has more care in it's development.

Disagree. Revealing IDs puts funds at risk. There are it seems more cons to revealing them than pros. Although I don't know if and when they will reveal them, it may be more cautious not to.

I think whitepaper and site are very well developed. Simple and they achieve what they need. The most important number is the number of signups which is 185,000 which proves what they're doing is working very well. Whitepaper is simple and to the point IMO and can be understood by everyone. No need for fluff where it doesnt need to be there.

A.  names are being withheld for 'security' reasons, which doesn't make any sense...every billion dollar company has it's investors and ceo's info etc public.

B.  That names will be revealed eventually (which is also unsatisfactory, because the only real reason for mystery is 'scam', public perception-wise).

Are you new to bitcoin? It makes total sense to withhold some names, especially names of people holding private keys. Holding a private key in BTC/crypto is like holding cash, so you're a massive target for kidnapping, theft, etc. That means revealing these IDs puts the WCX client funds at risk and also the safety of their staff. A billion dollar traditional CEO doesn't have to worry about that, their cash, company cash, etc. is held in bank. That being said they said they will reveal some name people, hopefully some with no private keys.

And concerning WCXT value seems very simple to me, it will go up when more volume on exchange, and down with less, because its fully correlated it pays out by based on volume, 20% of fee which is directly correlated to amount of volume on exchange.

Right, and CEO's and other public officers of massive corps don't have direct access to vast swaths of the company monies?    Are you new to the entire world of business?

Bro you wanna rob Apple CEO how do you do it lol. You wanna rob coinbase CEO you put a gun to his head take the private keys and the BTC are yours forever. Welcome to crypto you sound new.

If you believe every unsubstantiated promise in a whitepaper, good luck to you.

Isn't that what every ICO has done so far. Make promises in a whitepaper? Many ICOs have had hidden caps, for good reason, so nothing new here. At least WCX will have something to show before the ICO. I guess that will make you able to judge whether people behind it are "pros" or not  . It's still early days, ICO is in 2 months.

And what ICO raise will be used for, its in whitepaper, read before making useless FUD!! Many of us now holding WCX token, buying pre-ICO etc. do not FUD without proof, you are making us a disservice. Here:

Funds raised at the ICO will be used for customer acquisition, research and development, and hiring the best and brightest in software development, security, marketing, compliance, and customer support.

I have got the token from wcx, thanks. This token can be sold or just calculation of 20% passive income?

It will be on WCX exchange from the start so you don't have to wait for any other exchange to have it. so liquidity to buy or sell wcx tokens will be here as I understand, after the ICO.

The most important sentence in the white paper is the following:
By the time the ICO begins, WCX will have a fully functional product, so you'll know exactly what to expect before deciding whether or not to participate in the token sale.

Since 90% of current ICOs are pure bullshit or scams to steal our hard earned money, I really like your approach. With my background in software engineering and testing, I'm eager to participate in your beta launch.

This is what I love about this project. The product will speak for itself. We'll all get to see it before investing. Whitepaper is great, at the end of the day what's gonna matter is the product, and WCX will be done before ICO.

is this coin doing an airdrop?

Yes you get 50 WCX tokens for signing up at wcex.co.

I dont think they are related to Anx people, it's complete different business. Also referral program is "ended for now" because WCX got too many signups.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EXCHANGE] WCX – Low-Cost Crypto Exchange built by Apple & Wall St team on: August 01, 2017, 05:32:27 PM
The project is very interesting. I'm afraid of very small commission. The commission is significantly lower of other exchanges. It could trigger arrival on the Exchange many bots. Sir, how will you deal with bot?
Um why you against bots? the exchange would make money on every single trade regardless of if it was human or bot traded, in my opinion the more bots the merrier
Low fees generates a lot of small spam transactions. There is no sense in commission, if you can't sell or buy the right amount. And spam transactions will be hard to overload network.

That's not really true. 0 fees would make a lot of spam transaction, but WCX 0.1% fee is well enough to avoid this.

What will be the price at ICO?

10 WCX tokens = 1 USD

Hi all. Rewards for Twitter follow, coin voting, content promotion, and ANN thread translations are being paid to your WCX account in the next couple of hours!

Why is the domain wcex but the name of the site and tokens are wcx, and when it will be WCT on the exchange(s)?

WCT will be available to trade after the ICO ends (likely within 7 days).

Is WCEX going to create coins after the ICO?  Tokens for sale during ICO and then any remainders burnt....but is WCEX then going to create coins?

If so, will they act as tokens (and if so, wouldn't that lower the dividend value?)

No WCT will ever be created after the ICO. Unsold coins at the ICO are burned and whatever is left will be the total supply of WCT.

Do you mean WCX? See you talking about WCT  Cheesy.

WCT is the exchange symbol for WCX Token. Smiley

WCT it is a ticker of Waves Community Token - https://coinmarketcap.com/assets/waves-community-token/
It may be some mishmash.

Well noticed! We'll figure something out. Might choose WCC, or something similar. Any suggestions?

WCXT

WCX is taken? I don't see any on coinmarketcap.

I think wcxcoin is taken so it can be confusing

who's behind this? There's no team, nothing.

sounds like this is only a setup to data mine emails.

Don't post FUD. please take the time to read the thread, engage with WCX by Twitter or email if you want more info. at this point many of us have WCX tokens and you're doing everyone a disservice posting negative / unsubstantiated things like this

They are paying in the next few hours , just ask by email or Twitter. If you actually did a translation or followed on Twitter.

you claim

but without any proof whatsoever. I call bullshit.

I got paid mate. so yeah, no bullshit. btw says guy who's signature is "Is it possible to become crypto's Warren Buffett? Read More" lmfao

TBH he is right. At the moment it looks like bullshit scam - no team, no whitepaper, only site collecting emails. But I give them a credit of trust and wait for more info. Not everybody will do the same.

If you've been in contact with them through email or Twitter, or getting paid for the jobs, you will know it's legit. but of course its crypto so skepticism is default way I guess.

but don't FUD if no proof other than "i think it's BS". everyone who's been in contact or done jobs with WCX has said good things in this thread. they have timeline and plan and whitepaper next week, so let them act on it

A question to devs. You say that inless users want do deal with fiat currencies (at later stage) no ID will be required. However, since 2013 (I think) US authorities (not SEC but something similar, sorry I can't remember exact governing body name) set certain rules that most crypto exchanges are obliging to, one of them is ID verification. If you study charges pressed against Mr. Vinnik this one comes first - running an unauthorised monetary exchange. I read an extensive article on the subject yesterday in my news feed and it was basically saying that if you provide ANY exchange services to US citizens you're obliged to comply with their rules, otherwise you might as well end up being arrested. Sure we can keep saying that digital currencies aren't money etc etc but it looks like this doesn't fly anymore in the eyes of US authorities (which are well known for trying to confiscate everything they can't control). So my question is - how are you guys planning to deal with the legal side of things from this point of view? Not revealing founders names (just an example) won't fly at ICO, going this way you'll end up in gray/black markets, not as an established 100% legal exchange.

WCX is not specifically targeting the US - it's a global exchange. That being said, WCX will comply will all laws and regulations of the jurisdictions that it serves, and in jurisdictions where those regulations are not entirely clear (digital currency regulation is still a work in progress in many part of the world), we'll proactively reach out for guidance. That may indeed mean refusing to serve or imposing trading limits for customers in certain jurisdictions.

In short, WCX is a fully ethical and compliant exchange. If you're planning on using WCX for money laundering, tax evasion, or any other sort of illegal activity, you're gonna have a bad time.

Also to keep in mind that if you're planning on using fiat later in 2018 when that integration is planned to go live, KYC will be required regardless of the jurisdiction you reside in.

I perfectly understand that you're not targeting US. Not that I care - I'm not US national myself. However, my point is - if you do not oblige your future users to confirm they are not US nationals/clearly state that you are not providing any services to US nationals, you're liable to US regulations. It might sound quite ridiculous but that's the way things are for now.

They can just IP check like every other exchange out there. Or make users agree or sign they're not from US like bitfinex does. Nothing new here

Today is the transfer fee, but nobody answered me how can I get tokens? I started the site in Ukrainian and Slovenian and did not get a penny for it! It looks like a divorce? !!
Nobody seems to be going to pay people for their diligence!

Neat project

Crucial details required:

Max cap of WCX
Amount of tokens sold in ICO
Amount of tokens rewarded for free
Amount of tokens rewarded as bounties
Amount of tokens reserved for founders/third parties

How will funds raised in the ICO be used? Detailed plan.

What insurance companies is WCX cooperating with?

Are there any bonuses available in the ICO?

How do you calculate the 100 WCX = 10 USD Price?

Your exchange will be operated in HK and Luxembourg. Will the WCX administration team be located there physically?

I'm guessing 100 WCX = $10 will be set like any other ICO. Transform into BTC or ETH or what currency they will accept for ICO buys.

Will they announce how mcuh they have raised when the ICO sale is over?
This is something I will think anybody who wants to use this exchange would like to know at the end of it.

I know I would before I even contemplate in even trusting in using this exchange. Roll Eyes

There is no reason not to. All big ICOs announce
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EXCHANGE] WCX – Low-Cost Crypto Exchange built by Apple & Wall St team on: July 29, 2017, 11:05:54 PM
Will you publish WCX through multiple ICO advertisement/promotion  sites, will this be recognized. publicly? It need to be brought to the (light)  in advance before the presale ICO.  It seems more as a private underground movement. Thanks

they have now more than 100000 emails they can contact directly. stupid people use ads, sure they should maybe will do it, but look at power of the email and signups.

in 2 weeks maybe they can have 250000 emails. if each person give $400 (i think average contribution in ICO is like $450) then ICO raise is $100M. It is huge. But there is still time. We are early, the public will catch on.
