41  Economy / Economics / Re: Fix the money, Fix the world. on: March 18, 2024, 02:39:58 PM
I think the world will be a better place without notice or segregation between the rich and the poor if Bitcoin is embraced fully since Bitcoin is not a currency of a particular country everyone has the equal right and power to either store it or use it.

One thing we have to know is that the more giant companies join cryptocurrency and develop blockchain technology, the better it is for the price of cryptocurrency itself and every individual/group also has the same rights, access and ownership of their financial assets.

Well, apart from what you said above, it makes sense that BTC has been widely adopted and that in the end there will be strong financial independence in society, but in reality this is still a work in progress, I think, and needs a process too.
42  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Minimalism in Bitcoin would slow your accumulation process on: March 18, 2024, 02:28:20 PM
What I'm saying is that as much as it's important to buy based on our financial capacity, it's also good to put in additional effort to starch more in our portfolio if we are interested in making a good profit from our holdings. Remember that your profit is directly proportional to how much you've starched up in your portfolio.

For BTC, I never had the slightest doubt about investing even though the price had reached 72K previously and now people will start to think that BTC is a good and pure place to invest, many of which have provided big profits for investors. Yes. Seeing this significant movement of BTC will certainly make investors confused about where they will place a large portion, whether in gold or other commodities such as silver and we know BTC has always been their competitor.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Memecoins Making people more profitable than Alts on: March 17, 2024, 01:38:05 PM
First thing I do is;
I go to Dexscreener then CMC, to look at some solana memecoins and see their movement like BOME just bought it. I never knew it will go that high and get so much attention and become one of the Sol top meme then its listing on Bitget has made it surged over 700% or so and then Binance announcement on having its derivatives available made it surge more. That's one beautiful thing of buying a memecoin before the noise comes in.

Indeed, many good opportunities will be missed but don't regret other opportunities that will come. But, That's one real example if there is good news that continues to come into the market for that token, Yes. I also saw it in several media that the token is a trending topic for meme coins at the moment.

Now. Whatever the first buyer there is a king and the first one to smile feels the take profit of course and don't forget the loss moment if you enter now it's a mistake to get caught up in fomo or hype because this is a mind game where if you want to enter the market now you should just wait for a correction and this really requires patience if you want to buy the coin,
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk hints Possibility of Accepting Dogecoin for Tesla Car Purchase  on: March 17, 2024, 01:26:22 PM
Bitcoin price recently dumped and followed by altcoins but For doge coin I think this is also a project with good fundamentals for now and maybe in the future it will at least lead the meme coin market and I think maybe in 3 days we will do it soon see market recovery.

yeah and good news comes from Elon, at least this signal will make Doge coin enthusiastic again during the current correction period.
Indeed, apart from that, several altcoins are currently making new ATHs and perhaps new ATHs will appear again for other Altcoins, especially if this temporary correction recovers.
45  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I don't understand you people... on: March 17, 2024, 11:37:41 AM
Sorry but I cant enough time answer all, but for better understanding I edited it a bit...

I was talking about a case a few weeks ago, when the price dropped from 70 to 60000 within 2 hours.
Why couldn't they sell BTC and wait for the decline to stabilize and then buy BTC again at a much better price, like everyone else did. Instead, they useless went against everyone and against the market, and since they did not have enough purchasing power, the hours dragged on one place (2cm up and down and again, the same over and over for long hours). We could all make decent money, but because of those "experts" we all had 2/3 less.
And right now it's happening again, BTC fell to 65 and again some "geniuses" are preventing further decline, so again the clocks stands in one place and stretches by a few cm. Sorry, but this is nonsense, I dont know if they are trying to piss everyone off, or they are from another planet ...

If you buy when the graph is still down/correcting, you are very vulnerable. I think what you are saying is also a form of disappointment when you look at the market and have bought why the reversal took so long even though we thought it was time. In my experience, we have to really wait for the correction while it is completely gone, whether 4 hours or 8 hours later. If we have just entered a decline once, we are still very vulnerable to a further decline. This is where many people get trapped and involved, especially when they hear the opinions of other people whose analysis we think is correct.
46  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Quickest way to earn merit? on: March 17, 2024, 11:28:10 AM
There are loads of threads like this and none has really been direct, i have been reading through the responses and not one single person concur to the steps provided. i think there's more to getting merits than posting and commenting.

Yes. that's right friend. If it's relevant, why don't you respond to it? Maybe there are some things that are still not optimal in what you convey. However, at least try to be organized, simple and easy to understand so that it provides more benefits for others when reading it.

If necessary, also convey the source so that it strengthens what what you want to strengthen is whether you like to follow and see market developments, especially BTC or like other items.

Just relax.. Cheesy.

Hi. Alec first a nice initiation from you for joining here. Yes, you have discovered the most fantastic hiking spot that you have never actually visited before. I'm sure you will be more enthusiastic once you become familiar with this space.

and what you hope for in the forum, such as exchanging ideas, getting an overview of our questions with a new perspective will also come by itself and will definitely be born, and building a positive and communicative relationship with forum members in discussing what issues need to be discussed later.
48  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL! on: March 13, 2024, 06:30:44 AM
Effective way to invest in Bitcoin requires that you set aside emergency funds for any emergency spending you might encounter. If you have such arrangement in place, this Eid Al-Fitr will not make you reduce your investment or adjust your investment schedule because the emergency funds would have taken care of that. Going forward, I strongly recommend you setting up emergency funds because it will help you with events like the one that is happening now.

I learnt about the emergency fund aspect of investing from this thread and it has helped me a lot in that it makes me never worried or anxious of selling because all the basic things I need are sorted and there is no pressure on the investment whatsoever.

Good recommend from you.

Indeed, during big day, our budget absorption is usually greater than usual, but if there is other income that supports this, this is quite helpful and does not interfere with the DCA investment pattern and it will be fine.

Yes. "Pressure" and that is one of the reasons why many people fail in investing in trying to consistently buy BTC using the DCA method because many cannot set it properly and correctly, even though budget limitations are one of the common reasons heard.

49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you still buying altcoins?? on: March 13, 2024, 06:13:55 AM
The reason for the constant growth of Bitcoin is probably because people find more potential in it when compared to altcoins even if some of them are very famous and promising. People accumulate coins and tokens that they see are gaining traction which indicates that they are going to grow in the coming days, that is the reason why Bitcoin managed to cross its previous all-time high even before the halving event.

So talking about the altcoin season, it can start any time, before or after the halving event, as soon as investors start taking more interest in altcoins like they are taking in Bitcoin right now, we will see them going up more evidently.

That's right, if we look at the community and investors still focusing on Bitcoin for the next time and it's true that each coin gets its own sensation. However, as a long-term investor, for now, they prefer to avoid Altcoins because many fake developers have appeared on the market and also seen many altcoins just become trash in their wallets before because this makes them very stressed because the investment value is still there and price doesn't increase. That's why they have less faith in altcoins now.

Personally I would rather convert it into a big coin like bitcoin, eth that way it will give me more value in the future than holding it where the value will probably drop a lot again.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins that you trust most on: March 13, 2024, 05:59:03 AM
There are thousands of altcoins in crypto market and each of coin has investors! Cause people have different choice from one to another.  People even invest in shitcoin to get rich quickly. So what are the names of your most 5 invested altcoins that you are holding or would like to invest soon?? Those are my choice
1. ETH
2. BNB
3. Arbitrum
4. Cake
5. ApeCoin

Altcoin season may have arrived as we expected, well, judging by the cryptocurrency community, it seems like investors are still focused on bitcoin. I see that there has been no significant development in altcoins, especially regarding the adoption of only a few altcoins that show an impressive impression such as Binance coin and ETH. For the current prices, the five coins are those that are already in progress, are in the middle and are just starting out.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: After Bitcoin and ETH, now XRP is pumping. on: March 13, 2024, 05:51:08 AM

What price will XRP reach today?

Will it pump with good intensity or it's a time to short it?

It could be that today is a good day for XRP to rise even higher than before, but it's best to study the trend first even though the others are already there. The first is the major trend, it can identify in the daily time range and minor trends which usually occur on daily tf such as 1 hour 4 hours. When we can identify major and minor I am sure we will survive because if not and this is what I see at first many traders cannot survive and fail in their trading, most of them make mistakes in identifying trends.
52  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin all time high, is it ETF effects or pre halving cycle on: March 11, 2024, 04:58:36 AM
We barely broke the 70k level, however the correction has been so mild so far, I expect for the bulls to make another attempt to try to break that level once again and firmly establish the price of bitcoin above that level.

But if we are honest, going above the previous ATH is not really that impresive, as almost all the forum members expected for this to happen, the surprising thing during this cycle is the speed at which this is happening, since the halving has not taken place yet and a new ATH has been reached already.

That's right, even though there is a lot of drama and fud that we will see which will make us emotional and stressed, we don't need to rush to conclusions about the market because I think the market correction will one day be able to make prices rise even higher, which if Market capitalization continues to increase and will definitely create new things. record high.

Regarding price, many people believe that after the halving the price of bitcoin will rise where the market will decide which is the ideal bitcoin price.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your favorite blockchain? on: March 11, 2024, 04:42:29 AM
If there were multiple choices in the poll questions it will be nicer. Two things that interest me the most in a blockchain is the transaction speed and the low transaction fees. After that we may look at the performance of the coin in the market. This is because i will be holding some amount of that coin for steady transactions. Nevertheless, the Binance Smart Chain (BNB) interest me this most because it is cheap and fast. While its coin is making wave in the crypto space alongside bitcoin.

Of course, for transactions, choose a cheap network such as the BSC network as a reference and Binance is also able to provide many of the services needed for crypto traders and investors and has proven to be the king of coin exchange, but Ethereum is my favorite and I also set it as a long-term investment later, just for now. Waiting for performance improvements through projects like Ethereum 2.0, which will hopefully increase speed and reduce transaction costs significantly and I believe that the growth of the Ethereum ecosystem and increased adoption can drive and increase the value of Ether (ETH) tokens.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Selling BTC for Alt Coins? on: March 11, 2024, 04:29:42 AM
I have around 2.1k in btc rn and was wondering if I should sell it and invest in a couple of altcoin projects, would that be a good idea? I know Bitcoin will never ever do another 5x in the near future haha so that's kind of why I would wanna sell. The market cap of btc would have to reach a very high amount for it to be life-changing money to me.

Sometimes our calculations will be different from the actual situation, so in my opinion, just hold on, don't be embarrassed if you see another one going up because it will be the corona virus which will change your mental health if you sell it, let alone choose the wrong one later. because BTC prices will continue to rise as long as market sentiment is positive and there is no more fud.

But it depends on your own decision, personally I will continue to buy BTC coins until it reaches a price above 100K.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: is right time for investment ? on: March 11, 2024, 04:23:14 AM
Because they don't want to experience bad investments again. A lesson is there and that will make them look after with the existing ones that have been in the market for a very long time.
A bad investment will make someone learn from it and will never get into the new projects because the impression that they got there will last and they don't want to happen that again.

The general assumption that we hear is that if one BTC goes up then other coins will also go up, even though in the process we also lose a lot of capital.

At first glance, there is no need to worry too much, even though one day the price will recover and return to the initial purchase price. but, in my opinion it's tiring of the mind and a waste of our time in vain if especially if we jump into buying coins in a new project, it's better as you say, stick with existing ones that have been on the market for a long time maybe that's better and more precise.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Buy more ETH..... on: March 11, 2024, 04:14:30 AM
Yes and ETH is the right choice after BTC and don't be surprised if we see that currently too many people are too confident in new projects that are capable of being ethereum killers but in fact ethereum is still the most favorite platform in the crypto market even though it often has problems with network scalability and It only costs a fee but this is the second most sought after coin after BTC. If you want to go in and buy today, it's quite right even though the price is already high, but if I had ETH I wouldn't doubt its ability to increase it.

But the situation is different if we hold unknown tokens that do not have a strong community and are only used for dumping and pumping. as long as we do not sell the assets, the losses have not been liquidated.
57  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL! on: March 10, 2024, 11:09:58 AM
What is expected of us as bitcoin holders is to keep hodling our bitcoin in our portfolio and never to sell until bitcoin reaches our speculated price before we can be able to sell some part of our bitcoin holdings.

That right, We also have to think rationally when holding BTC coins and don't be quickly influenced by liking other coins when they go up, continue to exchange them for our BTC to hold the damn coin and that at any time can be a disaster for us because we don't know about its future even though it exists which says we will get double the profit when the market recovers.
58  Economy / Economics / Re: Keeping money and keeping bitcoins? are they similar? on: March 10, 2024, 10:55:39 AM
I get that people see the potential for Bitcoin to blow up and make them a crapload of money.  No doubt about it, cryptocurrency values can explode overnight.  But that knife cuts both ways - what goes up can come crashing down just as fast.  So while I understand the appeal of trying to hit it big, I don't understand the folks who cash out their entire savings or take out a second mortgage to buy Bitcoin and  that just seems beyond risky to me.

My point is, nothing in investing is guaranteed.  So going all-in is like betting your whole paycheck on the roulette wheel.  Not exactly a sound financial move, right?

The most important thing is not to sacrifice your family's important needs just to lose money after entering the market. Yes. Corrections always come periodically in this market, of course if we have additional income, if we want to invest, turn on mathematical calculations and explain using common sense, then make decisions based on knowledge and don't use your mind because of potential because greed will come very quickly.

This means you can invest as long as the time is right. This market always gives us cheap prices during corrections for all cryptocurrency coins now or in the future and it depends on our decision whether we will take this opportunity to gain profits in the future or not.
59  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Massive withdrawal of Bitcoin on: March 10, 2024, 10:45:32 AM
Wouldn't this continues practice of withdrawing and selling off whenever the price skyrockets going to slow the volatility of Bitcoin to continue skyrocketing? Since the price automatically starts experiencing a dip after every massive withdrawal.

This is the same if we want to invest our trades in BTC, we need to understand how to analyze the market and coins and without this analysis we will not make any profit and even incur a lot of losses.

Well, related to the above, if they make a profit when the price is high, I think it's normal, but the obsession with buying more will probably be even bigger and in fact BTC will continue to rise unless at some point, say in the next 5 years, we don't use Bitcoin as an investment portfolio. only then will it automatically start to decline after each large withdrawal as you said above.
60  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Blackrock control BTC? on: March 10, 2024, 10:30:52 AM
The crypto market has a bright future for us where after we faced the previous bearish trend the market returned to its current state. Regarding your assumption above, in my opinion it is just their opinion, in fact everyone in the world can own BTC.

BlackRock is a very large global investment company, but remember they have no direct control over Bitcoin, they only provide a statement stating their high interest in Bitcoin's future prospects. Yes. Personally I would choose universal, I think BTC is the main coin in the cryptocurrency market. Its features have many advantages when compared to other coins and if anyone wants to speculate and provide more control.
