41  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 21 Million is the max. mined - How many Bitcoin have already been mined? on: December 06, 2017, 09:36:19 PM
Thank you.
I suppose that once mining is completed, the price would then increase to a point that it would become more stable.
You could see that number yourself if you try to google but ah, forget. Everyone has different opinion but usually they think it will rise finally. But despite the fact that there will be no bitcoin to mine, it doesn't means price will be stable, for me it means that price will be very unstable, really. You have to consider that miners won't be able to mine bitcoin and they will collect it from transaction fees.

You can try the following link http://www.bitcoinblockhalf.com/

Total Bitcoins in circulation:   16,724,763
Total Bitcoins to ever be produced:   21,000,000
Percentage of total Bitcoins mined:   79.64%
Total Bitcoins left to mine:   4,275,238

We have only 20% of the bitcoins left without mined. The complete mining would be within long period of time accordingly.
42  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Just Bought $5000 Wort of BTC How Am I looking? on: December 06, 2017, 09:05:12 PM
Just placed a buy for 5k @13,000$ Was that a good decision?

it is ironic because the price was less than $13,000 just one hour and a half ago  Grin You really missed that train buddy, or did you already bought?

And it was less than $12,000 yesterday, because it just touched that all time high during yesterday.

If you are smart you are going to make a bunch of money, the price is still on big rally to get to $15,000 before 2018, so yes, you are going to make the most easy $2,000 that you have ever earned in your life.

Lets see how it moves.

This kind of comments make me always afraid of the market. Never think you're earning free money in bitcoin because of getting blind with the current bullish market.

The output is never predictable as one of the users said here. It's all up to whales.
43  Economy / Economics / Re: Best tip on saving money on: December 06, 2017, 06:19:24 PM
Hi guys! Can you share some tried and tested tricks on making the most out of your buck and also some tips on how to save money more effectively. This will be a heck of a help to our fellow users here. Thank you so much.

If you're a worker of a company with reagular salary, you can divide this salary into little peieces. And you can start buying bitcoin and trusted altcoins with this money. If you can do this for 1-2 year, you will observe a nice value inflation in your portfolio.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How long since you entered the crypto market on: December 04, 2017, 06:56:58 PM
Its been around 7 months that I bought my first crypto and it was bitcojns. However I was greedy and bought alts with all these bitcoins and have had a loss. Had bought 10 bitcoins and am down to 3 right now due to alts getting rekt.

It's been around 15-16months for me. But I still don't feel myself as enough in knowledge of crpto. I'm learning new things every day from you guys and bitcointalk forum. I also read too much medium articles to improve my technical side.
45  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you taxed on Bitcoin? on: December 03, 2017, 02:02:32 PM
Well you know in most of the countries like India ^ bitcoins are recognized as a way of income thus.. whatever you earn from bitcoins is directly linked with your earnings.. and thus they are taxed after a certain amount .. which is roughly 2/7 th of the present bitcoin rate.

Thus if someone is earning that much from bitcoins then..they have to pay taxes for sure..also if someone is just earning a dollar or two they are set out of this scheme..I mean what tax will you put into it..

Thus I am presently not taxed because I don't own even 0.5 bitcoins thus yes there are people who are taxed but not.. those who earn less..

I'm not opposing the taxing, but this way is not fair. Bitcoin is like a currency and two seventh of the total amount is crazy as a tax method. This is really not fair.

In my country, the tax is not applied only fees are present.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you buying altcoins on: December 03, 2017, 01:40:32 PM
I buy altcoins if this have a good opportunity to pump the price the altcoins you buy.
Actually its better to buy now altcoins beacause some of altcoins now are have a low value or dump.

Me too, never stop buying promising altcoin. This way, we can have a good future because my income level is not that good. I'm buying both bitcoin and altcoins at the same time.
47  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook & Google creating its own Cryptocurrency! on: December 03, 2017, 01:26:04 PM
Your thoughts on Facebook and Google creating its own Cryptocurrency. I know BTC is the pioneer in cryptocurrencies and currently has the highest value but if this two giant companies will release their own cryptocurrencies I don't anyone would miss that. Its not impossible right? Similarly Other companies like twitter & Youtube and even UBER can also dig into cryptocurrencies. If major companies can consider BTC as their main cryptocurrency, BTC value will definitely skyrocket.

Google, Facebook, Amazon, Tesla, they will try to develop their own coins. This is as expected, the crypto market is getting bigger and bigger as a result we'll see official coins too.
48  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I quit trading on: December 03, 2017, 01:12:02 PM
I like to trade the coins just for the fun of it, but small % of my blockfolio, most I just hodl.
you think that Cold storage will bring you more weather, What is the real trade? I think that on trade, if you certainly deal with this asset, you can earn much more.

You two have your own points, hodling your tokens could give you profits in the long run, but not all of the time, while doing Trading just for fun is not a good idea, you might lpse your profits or capital by doing this. In trading, you're going to need to be serious because it is no joke, yeah having profits is fun, but fun must always after the success, not when you're doing some Trade.

In the early stages of the year, I decided to quit trading as well. I was just gonna leave it forever and then I decided to stay. I thought I can be better in trading by reading more and doing more. I became very nice after my stay decission. Never give up!
49  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Will Reach $40,000 in 2018? on: December 03, 2017, 12:01:49 AM
it's very high price expectation in 2018 for bitcoin, but ofcourse everyone is wishing that to happen but i think it will not reach to $40,000 this 2018, maybe by 2019 to 2020 is possible. This is just my opinion maybe im wrong because I'm also hoping for that price in 2018.

Why very high for 2018 dude? BTC made 11x in 2017. If it only makes 4x, we pass $40,000 price clearly. This is not a high price expectation for me.

The possibility of this is very high in bitcoin.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Favorite new coin for 2018? on: December 02, 2017, 11:48:33 PM
I am holding DCN (dentacoin) I believe that in 2018 this coin will be worth 2 sat, dev is very optimistic to promote dental blockchain based dental services to various countries including Singapore and China.
DYOR

I'm not gonna say a new one. I hold Lisk and it's really can make good partnerships in real sector. If the team can handle the process of development, the price can easily go up to $15 from $7.5 current price. Note this.
51  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does any bank accept Bitcoin? on: December 02, 2017, 11:25:08 PM
Previously just about all ICO were rip-off, where individuals purchase the coins just to wait the pump motor and left the gold coin, a lot of those shitty coins were placed into yobit, i'd participated right into a few and able to sucess, but the coin hasnt an aenda a radmap, apart from an idea, li,e trumpcoin or similiars. Eth using the smart contracts experienced made possible the investment, and almost all ICO includes a map and intends to use the funds to build up their task, a great deal coins has truly something to bring to all of us, while some will fail prior to even try. It does scares us a bit see a new symbol obtaining huge funds insioe,gt well nobody would toss their cash aside when the gold coin hasnt potencial nor a good team under it.udk b

After 9 years of services of bitcoin in online works there is no one banks have ever accept bitcoin. This is because of the government not allowing digital currency as a valid payments in any government bills. Including with the bank they depend the rules gathered from the government institutions to follow the legal system by the country.

That's shows we need more legalization and regulation in bitcoin. I advocate regulation in bitcoin if we can keep the decentralized structure alive in this case. Very important for all of us.
52  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you trade your crypto currency? on: December 02, 2017, 11:14:11 PM
Knowing all the exchanges to trade is one thing which the user above me have already listed out but knowing how to trade is the most important thing. No one on this forum will definitely sit you down to let you know how to trade safely and effectively as you have to search online, the forum and YouTube yourself to get some resources you may need to learn. However, I will advise you make some search on YouTube, as you will get some good resources to get you going pretty fast there.

There are many exchanges, yet only some of them are good to use in secure.

I like bittrex, poloniex, hitbtc, etheredlta, binance and waves dex. They working smoothly and I didn't have problems there. I do bitcoin fiat trades there.
53  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If i send my bitcoins to a wrong address, what happens? on: December 02, 2017, 11:02:09 PM
if you send to a wrong address , you will never get back your coin and lose your coin forever

this is the same as burning coin action , check carefully before when you send bitcoin to an address

I think he can try double spend by generating instantly another transaction to another correct address with much higher fee. He has the chance of getting confirmed in the second transaction.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'll never buy Bitcoin cash on: December 02, 2017, 10:52:34 PM
A fake market cap based on dead coins 90% of owners don't know they have or know how to sell?

Even it Bitcoin cash would overtake regular Bitcoin that'd be shitty for you, cause it will completely kill the potential for a blockchain-currency becoming a true world currency at valuation of millions. It will namely confuse the shit out of the general public and the great majority will stop investing; Bitcoin cash will never be able to reach the potential that regular Bitcoin is able to achieve. No taxi driver's mom is or will ever be googling "Buy bitcoin cash". If Bitcoin cash would have some feature that regular Bitcoin truly lacks, then we're all better offer having another fork on the regular Bitcoin to fix that.

Despite everything and parameter, I'll never buy bitcoin cash and I will never make transactions with it. I know only bitcoin and I'll rely on it only. Bitcoin cash can't be the alternative of it as a fork coin.
55  Economy / Speculation / Re: price of bitcoin in december? on: December 02, 2017, 10:39:40 PM
I thnik the price will go up very high  Around $25k. Because usually the price will go up in the end of this year like one year ago.  After that the price will go down because correction and will up again next year.

That's possible because there will be a lot of buying and selling st thus time of the year and Bitcoin could surprise us all with a huge pump this Xmas. There's no stopping Bitcoin now because people are really accepting it especially after the 10k$ milestone.

I expect its price to be in between $10,000 and $11,500 in december 2017. And we will wait for 2018 as a whole to see what's goanna happen to bitcoin. In possible scenarios, it can o up to $15k.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Already lost 50% of my capital on: December 02, 2017, 10:10:32 PM
You should stop buying new coins when they are increasing rapidly because of pumping. Stick with good and popular cryptos such as ethereum, ripple, litecoin. I also started three months ago but I am making 50% profit because of that.

I lived the same thing in this summer and I made myself a new roadmap. I stopped buying new coins and I unserstood the price patter on my holdings. This way I made some money and got rid of my loss.
57  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Criminality and Bitcoin on: December 02, 2017, 09:50:08 PM
https://www.deepdotweb.com/2016/01/23/bitcoin-playing-an-increased-role-in-crime-europol-says/

Would you believe that the existence of bitcoin has increased the number of criminality in  some countries in the world. This is the issue that was being thrown by the EuroPol and the UK Metropolitan Police. According to them bitcoin has played a huge role on the increasing criminality in their area. They added that a huge number of cybercriminals were using bitcoins in their activities.

This just shows that as bitcoin develops both advantages and disadvantages will tag along.

Yes it does I believe that because bitcoins are decentralized and so does the banks cannot even tract or detect if there are some transactions going within them so criminals rake that opportunity to use bitcoins as their mode of payments when buying illegal things like drugs. And by bitcoins are growing we just making them much more rich because they are been here for a long time and new criminals knew that bitcoins are decentralized they also go all in to this with their illegal businesses because they took the opportunity. That is life.

It's been many years since they started to blame for criminality and money laundering. This is only because of blockchain's no-id structure, accordin to them. But this is not right. Blcokchain was not designed for criminals obviously. No need to blame bitcoin for this bad aspects of criminal payments.
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have around 500$-1000$ savings to invest so help. on: November 27, 2017, 06:47:21 PM
should I buy ethereum or ethereum-classic

More return=more risky=ethereum classic here, from my point of view.

Less return=more safety=ethereum here.

It's totally up to your trading and investment style, if you hold them, I'm sure you won't have any problem with both.
59  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It's 1994 In Cryptocurrency on: November 27, 2017, 06:30:38 PM
Very well said honestly. I always said that we're in the very early stages of bitcoin and this technology will be adopted by much more people. After my argument, lots of people replied me like this is not trure and bitcoin won't make another peak. All the time bitcoin reached new peaks.

60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin Gold Price Prediction On November 1, 2017 on: November 27, 2017, 03:02:45 PM
I have been thinking how bitcoin gold will be as it is not as popular as  bitcoin Cash. I have read several comments on reddit how many People  are saying that bitcoin gold is governments taking over of blockchain technology but I doubt if this is truth and I am expecting a strong resistance against this from cryptocurrencies industry enthusiast.  I think bitcoin gold price will be below $500 except there is a reason which we may not know now that may influence it's market capitalization in the near future. Moreso,  bitcoin gold has not making any serious publications about this sigwith2x activation and this is a sign that bitcoin gold is not going to be as popular as bitcoin Cash.

The answer is easy, both BTG and BCH are the copies of BTC. So why shall they be valuable in the eyes of blockchain community? I don't see any reason for this. These days are the good days for thoe forks, because traders didn't sell their fork coins yet.
