Do you agree that people just holding the coins are the only ones taking a risk ? The game isn't very complicated. Lending is actually the safest option. The system keeps the price from crashing easily.

4 MILLIONS EMB IN POS WALLET SINCE SEPTEMBER 18 AND STILL NO REWARDS  Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Embarrassed

You are super overweight bro. Sorry man. It happened to me multiple times too... Reset your stake (just create a new receive address and send your coins to there and wait 10 hours for them to mature again). They fixed the bug now and it shouldn't happen anymore hopefully!

I just reset my stakes and recombined everything into 1 big stake because the bug is fixed. Yay.

Are you two actually serious??? You shouldn't be resetting or you will lose money....the fix will give you the correct reward if you don't reset..

Can someone explain these 'ponzi' claims for a simple cryptocurrency? The only time it can be a Ponzi is if something is not delivered as promised. No cryptocurrency can promise increasing growth or stability, but bitconnect and others are showing how it should be done. The fact RegalCoin has no internal exchange (and the coinexchange.io one they are on has no authorisation API either so they can't trade automatically on there - i.e. no bots can trade http://coinexchangeio.github.io/slate/ ) shows that it isn't necessary to have an internal exchange for stability of the price. Bitconnect's internal exchange allows them to halt trading when a panic occurs etc for extra protection of their coin holders.

When bitconnect do not pay out their member's USD lend amounts in BCC tokens, that is when people have a right to complain. Are they going to be short of BCC for a while? Actually, it is growing exponentially and the max supply is nowhere near reached (only 8million of 28milllion coins have been generated so far despite the good monthly staking interest).

You have to remember that people in that part of the world have significantly higher IQ's than the average in USA and Europe and there are many more geniuses (not to mention that those  doing computer related work also are usually much more intelligent than average). The coin may eventually crash, as all modern economies naturally do in cycles, but they should be able to guarantee all lend amounts.

I actually find all these scam claims laughable because they have been profiting greatly from the lending in both BCC and USD terms as their coin has increased at a faster rate then the interest they pay, not to mention everything else. They could easily pay back every lend amount now in BCC tokens and not even touch their reserves as they will be paying back less than they received. Obviously, if everyone sold all this BCC at the same time, the value would plummet but that isn't what is going to happen. They are the ones in control of the price with their massive reserves that is also currently staking 8% monthly.

Just imagine if everyone tried withdrawing from their bank? Bitconnect have an advantage over commercial banks in that sense as they are able to pay everyone back immediately in their tokens and can halt their exchange if they sense the value is plummeting.

405  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: EMBERCOIN [X13, POW/POS] on: October 06, 2017, 06:48:53 AM
do coinage applied to embercoin?

A : open wallet staking for 24/7 - 365 days
B : open wallet staking for 1 hour - 365 days

if coinage effect applied person A staking reward will have exactly the same as person B, just that person A will have much equally distributed staking reward

if coinage effect is not applied person A staking reward will have 24x more than person B because wallet is running 100% of the time

so which 1 is correct?

coinage is nothing to do with the amount of time the wallet is open. So you can switch it off half the time and you will get the same annual percentage, just you can't be paid when it is off so probably will be rewarded less often in the long run. If you want to stake more often for more compounding, you should leave the wallet open more often but otherwise it makes no difference to the amount you receive as it only depends on the number of says since you STARTED STAKING the amount.

I've missed some of these messages but you must remember when I mentioned how good a model bitconnect was and how much in profit they have been. There are now 3 others that I know of (2 in ICO stage) with RegalCoin the one that has recently started. I only put a couple of hundred bucks in regalcoin ICO (less than 300 of their tokens). One thing that I was impressed with is how stable the value of their coin is after an initial jump to over $20 it has stabilised as you can see here: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/regalcoin/ (this is similar to the stability of BCC against BTC)

It seems like similar people are behind RegalCoin (although the website again isn't great) but one thing I noticed which may be a negative or positive is the much lower staking interest RegalCoin has. BCC has 8% per month currently, but regalcoin only has a few percent a year from what I remember. This means they don't need to sustain as much growth to increase their coin value, but also means they can't use staking to pay affiliates etc. but their coin value should increase faster.

Anyway, like I said, I managed to put a couple of hundred in the ICO and was surprised that within 24 hours the coin went from sub-$1 to $20 and settled very stably at over $12 at the moment (so I profited many thousands of dollars but people who risked more money have became very rich already almost overnight). They don't even have an internal exchange currently and are just on a low volume external exchange which had to update its systems to cope with the massive volume of trades. Millions of dollars are traded daily and their market cap is far lower than bitconnects billions so have a lot of growth potential and may take some of the market away from bitconnect (they only lock in lends for 99 days, which was something I suggest bitconnect do too as it doesn't affect their profitability but may impact the sell pressure of their coin).

There are now two more that have come almost at the same time which again will attract investors. Some of these may not be based in the same geographical areas and may be scams but if they all go 10x initially and become very stable in price, then I don't see a downside to investing and just taking the profits. At the moment bitconnect is the only proven one with massive profits (so not a Ponzi) with the billion dollar market cap to match.

There are problems on the graphs. Been going on for weeks..... I mean look at EmberCoin and the market cap etc  ...the graph is straight and goes up on the last date.....something very wrong so should be fixed quickly if it's a paid service.
409  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BCC] Bitconnect Coin - Decentralized Cryptocurrency on: September 16, 2017, 01:04:59 PM
I just invested 10010$ into the coin, lets see how it pays and for how long. I'm going into it assuming I've lost the 10010$ and I won't be getting them back.

Hi,

Are you lending the amount? You will likely get about $4k per month or so in their bitconnect tokens which should be increasing in value at the moment so you should get more overall if you withdraw the tokens into a wallet (better than keeping the tokens there and you get 8% extra monthly staking interest too for holding them longer than 15 days). You can also exchange them into BTC if you like on their exchange. The good thing is that your capital in USD should be safe when you are lending it and only the token holders could lose out.

Basically, I just noticed that they have had high interest payments the last two days! I got 1.88% and 2.01% for the last two days (including 0.1 extra on top of the percentage). Not bad for a time when bitcoin falls 30% etc.
410  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BCC] Bitconnect Coin - Decentralized Cryptocurrency on: September 14, 2017, 10:12:15 PM
Bitconnect coin actually doesn't change its value from 0.03 bitcoins..... just look on their exchange or on the graph on coinmarketcap....... it's obviously still down to $100 but that is just from the reduction in the BTC price. So basically, they have managed to make it like a version of USD Tether but for bitcoins instead.....they must decide on its value and are able to keep it at that. From mid-june for a couple of weeks they did the same thing but kept it at 0.02 bitcoins. They have kept it at 0.03BTC for a while now too.

So basically, they seem to have a system where sometimes they let the coin go to where it wants to but at other times use their reserve to stabalize its value compared to bitcoin on their exchanges.

The Bank's CEO : "Dimon compares bitcoin to tulip mania, predicting a collapse"

Maybe he should get into bitconnect  instead as that obviously isn't a Ponzi Tongue

Anyway, maybe these scam artists like Control-Finance can see the irony of the people complaining about ponzis if they think all cryptos are like that.
412  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: EMBERCOIN [X13, POW/POS] on: September 13, 2017, 01:46:30 PM
I noticed it's one of the only coins going up today, compared to everything else!! Price hasn't really changed much in the last couple of weeks and people have been getting 20% growth per day on average (or more compounded but you need millions of coins to actually get the reward every day or you might need to wait a week to get 140% more etc).

Seems like control-finance pulled a fast one.....what a surprise!!

I was looking for threads on this forum with no success on control-finance....but this is what I found in goodle cache lol (this guy chose the wrong time for his first post as it seems just a few hours before the disappearance)

Apparently all their social media accounts have disappeared too....

https://snag.gy/k2mxTP.jpg (Oh actually the cached page was from a couple of weeks back oops)

I wonder what 'digital shredda' is gonna say about the $100K that was stuck in there ($27K of his own money I think he mentioned and the rest referrals).

UPDATE (I know this thread isn't about cf): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wpNK3Ue8VtE  but noticed this comment regarding Digital Shredda:

Quote

Digital shredders took down a video today that he had posted, his account showed 50k in active deposits. He had 100k just before CF closed down. We all know that you can't withdraw your deposit. How did the balance get reduced to 50K? I honestly believe that something isn't right, especially after taking down his video right after I asked him about what I have noticed. No reply other than taking his video down.

It's all going wrong now: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cSj3v8cI0-s

How could the hackers manage to close Kenn Bosak's youtube channel and hack his twitter account: https://twitter.com/KennethBosak and apparently also his bitconnect account according to Trevon?

Mark Crypto and Crypto Girl were also hacked....phishing attach. I heard all this from youtube videos and comments...but apparently he used the same password for everything and even his facebook is gone. It must be a bit silly to fall for the phishing attack, though.
416  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BCC] Bitconnect Coin - Decentralized Cryptocurrency on: September 10, 2017, 12:42:44 PM
So how does a company generate a monthly ROI of up to 40% trading an altcoin only its affiliates are interested in?

The answer is they can’t.

BitConnect can throw generated BitConnect Coins around at will, but the company can’t produce a monthly ROI in USD to pay affiliates with. That money is solely derived from subsequent affiliate investment, making BitConnect a Ponzi scheme.

the referral commissions serve as a recruitment layer, adding an additional pyramid layer to the scheme.

BitConnect affiliate recruitment of course ties into the value of BitConnect Coin, as new affiliates invest in BitConnect Coin (through BitConnect) and inadvertently drive up the price.

On paper this looks like public demand for BitConnect Coin, but it’s really just affiliates investing in BitConnect’s Ponzi scheme. The only reason BitConnect Coin is used is because BitConnect can generate them at little to no cost.

As with all Ponzi schemes, once affiliate recruitment dies down so too will new investment. This will see BitConnect starved of revenue and unable to meet its ROI obligations.

Being a variable ROI scheme, BitConnect’s collapse will be painfully slow. This gives the anonymous admins plenty of time to cut and run, whilst desperate affiliates are left in the lurch.

Firstly, that is all they pay people in (highlighted in red). Many open source cryptos pay people in their coins for all sorts of work.

Secondly, you have blatantly ripped off that whole post from the infamous MLM conspiracy theorist website behindMLM.com and unsurprisingly it's not only sensationalist but also factually incorrect.

If Bitconnect advertised higher returns they would be blamed far more, when they have obviously made far more profit in the growth of their coin (which they can accurately predict), than they have paid out in this daily interest. They are simply sharing this growth and guaranteeing investor deposit value (in USD). Their coin has actually been doubling every month on average which is 100% monthly growth or more than double the interest rate they are paying investors who lend (before someone says this isn't sustainable, well obviously it is not but that is why their interest rate is variable).

There are many coins that pay staking interest and bitconnect coins (BCC) also pay those who stake their coin 8% per month which is another option for investors.

Finally, and this is VERY IMPORTANT, it's a myth that any coin should be worth anything related to the value or profitability of the company who issued the coin. This is a very important thing to realise in cryptocurrency and that unless there is some payout linked to its own profitability (which is the case for bitconnect sharing the profits with their lending system and publishing payout rates daily) then ALL CRYPTOS are valued just based on simple supply and demand if there is no connection to any real assets backing it. It is basically only through trust and value given by the holders of the coin. Are you saying something like BITCOIN is a Ponzi? As BITCOIN IS FAR MORE OF A PONZI THAN BITCONNECT. Don't you see how that is the case and you are totally deluded to think otherwise?
417  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BCC] Bitconnect Coin - Decentralized Cryptocurrency on: September 07, 2017, 04:15:26 PM
It has become an interesting topic but in my observation people should post this coin will turn scam not this coin is a scam because they have not yet scammed people, price is still increasing people are still getting their payout and we all still making money here the most important is the now.

Have you been watching Craig Grant too much (the most important is NOW)?

By the way, it looks like bitconnect only just realised some of their bitcoin addresses might have been hacked (new post from today 7th September about them assigning new addresses): https://bitconnect.co/system-news/78/members-of-bitconnect-are-requested-to-use-new-bitconnect-coin-deposit-address-from-dashboard

Was just reading the Gunbot thread and the author says in a recent post the average profit is 1% daily...  that seems to coincide with bitconnect's claim. Or is Gunbot not really profitable despite everyone claiming it to be?

(just noticed bitconnect changed their login so that people can't bypass the reCaptcha any more when logging in - they used to allow logging in on the top right of their pages without it)
