401  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Work in progess] Burnins Avalon Chip to mining board service on: August 16, 2013, 09:58:13 PM
Would the board work with missing chips? One empty spot, for instance, so 19 chips on a board.
402  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MCXnow- RealSolid a racist now eh? on: August 16, 2013, 04:58:12 PM
You screaming racist now is like a woman screaming rape for touching her shoulder. Try to be less butthurt. On IRC, if you're a guest in someones channel, he has the full rights over who can and cannot be there. If you're annoying the fuck out of an admin, you can expect this to happen.
403  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [LTC] [PPS] [OTP 2FA] [Stratum only] LTCMine PPS mining pool (3.3%) on: August 16, 2013, 11:38:56 AM
Balthazar, what will happen to the funds of old miners on ltcmine.ru?

I'd happily come mine at your new pool - operation was always flawless and I'm not too happy with coinotron now anyway.

Still, I have about 80LTC still stuck at ltcmine.ru. Could you advise me of the options?

Currently I've 10MH/s of hashing power. I'd happily direct this to your new pool.

10.000BTC just left the initial address that was paid in to by all group buyers. Saw in avalon news thread.
Movement. Good or bad, or means nothing?

Better be for refunds and steamboat better be on top of it.
408  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Liquid Synergy Designs Inc. -ASIC mining hardware on: August 15, 2013, 04:00:26 PM
what the hell do u want steamboat to tell u ? he's waiting for chips and thats it .. wtf is so hard to understand ?

For one i want to know the procedure of how to transfer my order to someone else. That the chips are not here yet doesn't mean he doesn't have to sit on his ass and do nothing. He needs to respond to my messages, is that so hard to get through your skull? It's his god damn duty, for he is PAID to provide these services.
409  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Liquid Synergy Designs Inc. -ASIC mining hardware on: August 15, 2013, 03:12:07 PM
I'm not okay with any of your assertions.  I just find it better to have some kind of evidence that "fuckall is being done" before jumping to conclusions.  Do you have any idea what is going on?  Then why assume the worst?  You have NO CLUE what Steamboat is doing, so you automatically assume he's doing nothing?  Poor form, my friend.  How do you know he's not so busy trying to figure out a solution that he doesn't have time to address every person's concerns?  Most people's concerns right now are a direct result of Yifu not supplying enough information.  Transferring the questions Yifu is not answering to Steamboat, and then getting upset when Steamboat doesn't answer them is deflection.  Stop it.

Eh, clearly the ballast of providing the evidence that anything is being done, lies with steamboat. Telling me I need to provide evidence of something nonexistant is ridiculous. I can't prove there's no giant flying spaghettimonster either - so should we just blindly assume there is one then?

I can tell, however, that he has plenty of time to answer us, as he's online on this forum practically all day.

In the end I'm not Yifu's customer. I'm steamboats customer, and I paid him for services which in all honesty include providing his customers with information, which he's clearly not doing right now. I have every reason to be upset.

Clearly, you need to stop glorifying steamboat as some saint who can't be blamed for any of this. He clearly can, as he's just not answering anyone right now. On top of that, I want to sell my order on to someone else, but as long as steamboat refuses to reply to my attempts to contact him, I can't even do that.
410  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Liquid Synergy Designs Inc. -ASIC mining hardware on: August 15, 2013, 02:13:20 PM
Or maybe he is trying to set these things up but has nothing concrete yet. I feel like these demands for steamboat updates stem from an erosion of trust in steamboat.  I feel like this is extremely unwarranted and the erosion of trust is actually backlash from anger at Yifu.  Give steamboat a chance to get things figured out.

Well, take a wild guess on where that erosion in trust mostly stems from? From him not speaking up. Even if he's achieving nothing, just a minor message every day with "i tried x and y but to no avail, sorry guys talk to you tomorrow" would reinstate a lot of the trust in him. Even if it's not providing any progress, he should keep us in the loop.

Right now, it just seems as if he has his money safe already, and doesn't want to deal with his (rightfully) dissatisfied customers. It seems as if he doesn't want to respond to people asking refunds, asking for him to take action (= work while his salary is already safe anyway, why do that, eh?), asking him to just reply to some simple messages.

He should take an example to Zefir and SebastianJu, who are actively keeping their customers up-to-date, even if there's no progress.

And seriously, do you not agree that for a salary of 48.000 USD for a few months work, this 'work' encompasses at least:

- Responding to your customers' emails
- Responding to your customers' personal messages
- Addressing the growing list of concerns being posted in your topic

If you're okay with somebody doing absolutely fuckall while gettin a lot of money as a salary, well then sorry to say it, but I find you deluded as fuck.
411  Economy / Goods / [WTS]219 Avalon chips - AT COST steamboat's groupbuy, Batch #4, ordered May 28- on: August 15, 2013, 01:42:59 PM
I'm looking to sell my 219 chips that I ordered from steamboats group buy. I'm in Batch 4, which was ordered and paid on May 28, so relatively early.

Cost price was 18.834 BTC, so I'm selling for that price. PM me if you're interested. I'll contact steamboat regarding the change of address once we've made a deal.

Escrow services are an option if needed.
412  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Liquid Synergy Designs Inc. -ASIC mining hardware on: August 15, 2013, 10:19:20 AM

How hard is it toget through your thick heads that steamboat is waiting on chips and is ready when they arrive?  There is nothing to update.  Be patient, steamboat will update us when there is news or when it is worth updating us.  I don't believe he should have to give a daily update until chips arrive.  Nothing has changed, and honestly, we'll hear about chips arriving at the other previous group buys before steamboats and before he even updates us.  Take your concerns to Yifu, he is the inept irresponsible peace of shit who should be doing the reassuring, not steamboat.  If you haven't already noticed he always updates us in due time.

It's fucking simple. He has received and processed over 500k USD worth of funds from this userbase, of which 48.000 USD goes in his own pocket. Even if he's just waiting, he has customers that are in for tens of thousands of USD with him, he just can't go about and stop responding to emails and messages just like that. For the amount of money he received, it's his god damn duty to stay active here and reply to his customers, just like Zefir and SebastianJu are doing.

Get it through your thick skull that he made 6*80 = 480BTC (currently ~48.000 USD) off this deal. For that money it's his god damn obligation to stay active, even if there's no news. It's a disgrace and an outrage that for a salary of 48.000 USD, steamboat apparently feels too good to keep in regular contact with his customers. That is, answering questions and proposals here, answering to personal messages and answering to emails.

In the end steamboat will be the only one to have made a profit out of this (that is 480BTC + the profit he makes on his boards) while we ALL can be happy if we even make ROI in a period of 1 year, after which it's completely useless and lost all value.
413  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Liquid Synergy Designs Inc. -ASIC mining hardware on: August 15, 2013, 08:25:41 AM
It's starting to concern me more each and every day how steamboat just doesn't answer questions and proposals in this topic. Like he's gone from the face of the earth.

He also doesn't reply to emails and personal messages anymore, while his profile says he's online every day.

I invested my money with him, so him going silent worries me most.
414  Economy / Auctions / Re: [WTS] 219 Avalon chips - steamboat's group buy - Batch #4 - Early order May 28- on: August 14, 2013, 08:33:27 PM
Bump.
415  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Liquid Synergy Designs Inc. -ASIC mining hardware on: August 14, 2013, 08:17:00 AM
Is nobody noticing that steamboat is just full-on REFUSING to post in here, answer questions and keep us up-to-date? Look at his profile: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=15737. He's online all the god damn time.

He doesn't reply here
He doesn't reply to PM's
He doesn't reply to mails.

Now where have we seen this before, huh, i wonder...  Undecided
416  Economy / Auctions / Re: [WTS] 219 Avalon chips - steamboat's group buy - Batch #4 - Early order May 28- on: August 13, 2013, 10:57:18 PM
Oh right, i see what happened, I made a typo. The price is 0.10 BTC/chip of course.
417  Economy / Auctions / Re: [WTS] 219 Avalon chips - steamboat's group buy - Batch #4 - Early order May 28- on: August 13, 2013, 10:15:21 PM
Still taking offers, buy it now price revised to 0.010 BTC/chip

Do we have to buy all or can I buy 32?

You can buy 32 if you want. We could do escrow if you want, otherwise my reputation is good. I'll put a signed message in the topic of steamboat, pm and email him once the transfer of chips is done. You can relay your personal data to me in an email or PM if we close the deal.

@rammy2k2, it's relatively early as many groupbuys have "batch 1" sitting in june or something. And we all know only Zefir's group buy has received chips yet.
418  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Incoming Avalon News 8/9/2013 on: August 13, 2013, 09:55:29 PM

Agreed, pretty sad to see if I'm being honest. One of the reasons I got into BTC was because of the community spirit and everyone working together for the same cause.

The group buy organisers have put a lot of time and work in and put themselves on the line, they don't deserve to be blamed for this at all.

I also know that organisers have been trying to contact Yifu.

Then the least they could do is show they're the better man, and keep us updated instead of seemingly disappearing form the face of the earth as well. Even if there's nothing to tell, him telling every few days he has tried x to contact Yifu but it failed, would show he's at least busy with it.
419  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Liquid Synergy Designs Inc. -ASIC mining hardware on: August 13, 2013, 08:29:55 PM
steamboat, would much like to hear from you and your stance on refunds. Are you going to do anything about it, or are you just going to wait untill we are TRULY royally fucked?
420  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Incoming Avalon News 8/9/2013 on: August 13, 2013, 08:25:14 PM

I think they have been trying, Yifu is a difficult man to get in touch with at the moment.

No, they are not. I'm in steamboats group-buy, and he is doing fuck-all. He's making maybe 1 update every two weeks, saying "we'll wait". I hate to say it but his failure to reply to emails and keep the topics up-to-date, tells me that even the group buy organizers might be taking a similar route.

Everybody needs to step up in their group buys and show the organizers that we mean fucking business right now. We are all losing more and more money and we're way past the point where it would even be sensible to consider investing in these chips.
