We will be going live on Graviex on Christmas right after our new release!

The total integration cost is zero thanks to a donation from an anonymous donor.

75% of Top 20 crypto exchanges wiped out in new CMC (CoinMarketCap) rankings
https://micky.com.au/75-of-top-20-crypto-exchanges-wiped-out-in-new-cmc-rankings/

Top 50 Cryptocurrency Exchanges by Liquidity
https://coinmarketcap.com/rankings/exchanges/liquidity/

"BKEX, Coinsbit, Bilaxy, Fatbtc, IDCM, Hcoin, Bitforex,
Latoken, Cat.ex, Coinegg, Dcoin, Sistemkoin are off the list entirely,
while Coineal has dropped to No.25, Coinbene had dropped to No.32
and P2PB2B has dropped to No.37." (NOTE: I dont see P2PB2B on the liquidity ranking anymore)

I'm glad they are taking out the trash.  We probably could have saved 2 1/2 btc if we had this today.

I agree that pure volume is no longer good enough to rate an exchange.
They came up with the good idea of using liquidity, which is the amount of buy(s) and sell(s) available at the nearest satoshi level on the exchange (which I guess maybe some of the seedy exchanges will start to fake next to move up the ranks).  Meaning that ultimately its a cat & mouse game (one thing I am very fond of, and dislike).

One ill intended side effect of using "liquidity" is when our price is below 5 sats, we also get hit with a penalty.  Our SX reported adjusted liquidity is wrong if CMC uses an algorithm that measures the distance up and down by something like 10%.  Since our difference in sat between 2 and 3 sat is something like 50%, we are not even on the scale (lol).  So we display as an infinitesimally small liquidity compared to the actual $ spend in liquidty on SX.  Actually looking at CMC today, I see our liquidity is zero.  I think they removed the metric for coins below a certain threshhold.

A really timely piece of DASH's current price and the effect of miners on the price and how changing the economics of masternodes and possibly switching to proof-of-stake could mitigate some of the boom-and-bust cycles of PoW. BiblePay has further sell pressure from supporting charities, but the criticism from @inblue is on point. Funny Rob, how you've tried some of these techniques earlier and its like they read about BiblePay's experiments... Or maybe its just a common issue with masternode coins.

Which criticism do you refer to from Inblue, I don't particularly know what you mean.

I do think DASH is watching us, I'll get back asap on that as time permits.

Does anyone here have a non-bbp and non-grc CPID?  We need help in testnet from an outsider with more than 250 RAC.

I joined OByte team, but I reported in 1484, I was stuck at Loading PoDC researchers for some reason before I could even see the Overview part of the wallet.

Re: Pool Name

Remember, there's only a few days left before I pick a name for my pool. Please upvote your favorite on reddit:
https://www.reddit.com/r/BiblePay/comments/e78dy9/vote_on_the_name_of_my_mining_pool_first_place/?sort=controversial

Just upvote, no downvoting. First place will win 10k BBP. As a bonus, I've extended the contest to 2nd and 3rd place winner. Although you do not get to name the pool, I will offer a small token of appreciation for your participation.
I replied to that, that I don't believe you were using the right version (unable to reproduce).  Let's talk about and keep the testnet issues over in the testnet thread, btw.  This way we don't lead newbies into thinking your are testing production issues in prod.

*** TestNet->Prod help before Christmas ***

We could use a little help on this other side project.
This involves verifying that our TestNet branch (1.4.8.4) runs against Prod properly.  (This readies the RC1 release in testnet to be released at Christmas time).

If you want to help, please verify that you can sync against prod, mine against nomp pools (using 1.4.8.4), that you stay in sync, that you can see the proposals, the leaderboard, and that you stay in sync overnight (through the GSC superblock height which can be found in exec health under 'next superblock' height).

To download the binary please see the OP post here:
https://forum.biblepay.org/index.php?topic=465.new#new

And please post replies in that thread if you are a prod-tester (tell us in the post you are prod-testing not testnet testing) etc.

Thanks!

NOTE:  Please verify the binary is actually 1.4.8.4 when you start it.  It must be 1.4.8.4 or newer.

BBP at 1 satoshi (0.00000001 BTC) on SouthXchange:
https://www.southxchange.com/Market/Book/BBP/BTC

Since 2017 to today, I had sold only about 2 million BBP on the exchanges, and that was always by making a sell order! So I am constantly struggling to understand who is selling BBP so much, and more importantly, why do they take the buy orders instead of just making a sell order?

And then there are those "666" and other autosell bots, which I also find extraordinary because I calculated that millions of BBP were used for selling in those programmed intervals, so the "opposed individuals" own a big amount of BBP, which begs the question why are they so determined to lower the price of BiblePay.

I presume long-term loyal members such as miners or sanctuary owners would not crash their own holdings by taking the buy orders, especially because they are not in a rush to sell. What is left are profit takers, so are there many of them in the silence? Afterall the price is for the good part the result of the mining profitability, so the miners could even be making money with BBP at 1 satoshi. In that case, I think this is an issue we need to look into, to improve the economic model of mining.

The person(s) selling the 666 and the 6 and mini amounts are clearly mischevious and have ill-intent.  Because their script is very clearly designed to pull our price down on a regular interval to the lower satoshi (its basically trying to say falsely:  BBP is sagging, BBP has a lot of sellers, and BBP is dying).  My best guess on this script is either Slovakia or Michelle (who I believe is Slovakia), because this same person(s) changes their nick in the chatroom and bash us regularly.  I changed my Language in SX so I don't have to read our chat room anymore - its too depressing to read.

On people crashing their own holdings, some of the haters would rather see us destroyed and die than have a chance at regaining our strength.  This reminds me of how I caught someone uploading viruses into childrens letters in the pool server, someone was sending massive numbers of variations of '6.66' tithes to the foundation until we blocked variants of 6.66, someone is attacking our DSQL server(s) using scripts until they were protected with Cloudflare (they clearly want them down), hackers were constantly trying to break in and steal the pool funds, people are creating fake letters and upvoting them within their own family, etc.

Finally there is some type of bot on SX (I think it might be unplugged now), where the bot buys 1 sat cheaper, and the moment we sell into that price the bot re-sells the BBP it just gained 1 sat higher (prostituting our price).  Thats how we got about 40 mil or so of the sells on the board, impo.  They are hanging on to regain their BTC back.  Impo, I hope they just shut it down and I hope they do get their money back, but Id rather not have the 'liquidity bot' in general, as I feel a free floating price is better.

Anyone reached out to SouthXchange about the BBP wallet being stuck on block 162029?

Yeah, they notified me a couple hours ago (before I read this forum).
They are working on restarting the sync now.

I'm very interested to see why removing litemode=1 is fixing the problem;  Ill try to reproduce that now (I believe SX uses litemode=1 to ensure they are on the heaviest chain also) meaning they probably experienced the same issue.

410  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BiblePay | 10% Charity | POBH CPU | Sanctuaries (Masternodes) | Orphans on: December 07, 2019, 02:48:23 PM
On my Windows it works but on my Linux wallet I get empty list :
Code:
./biblepay-cli masternodelist status
{
}

And

Code:
./biblepay-cli masternodelist full
{
}

Both are using same latest version.

It usually takes about 15 mins for the governance to sync.
On the linux box, see if you have 999 when you type : 'mnsync status'.  (And verify you dont have litemode=1 in the config file).
If it still doesnt work by now, stop the node, delete governance.dat and mncache.dat and mnp*.dat, and restart the node and wait til 'mnsync status' shows 999 then you can re-run the command.

Question:
What is the non-GUI wallet command to check DIP3 Sanctuary status ?
masternodelist status
Or
masternode status (for the sanc itself)
or
masternodelist all (for all details)

** HOST BRZ (www.hostbrz.com) UPDATE/GOING OUT OF BUSINESS **

Dear Customer,

Over the past few months we have been met with many challenges within the hosting business. Some that have not been overcome.
As result of this we will be closing our doors.  We will be shutting down this Monday 12/9/2019.  We are taking this time to let our customers know so that they may backup and retrieve all of their data before then.
We deeply apologize for this inconvenience.
Thank You.

Management

NOTE:  Hostbrz is only giving valuable customers 3 days to remove their data.  I believe they will be keeping the excess hosting fees and not offering a refund.  I'll clarify this now, and let everyone know the answer.

So as usual a lot is going on, a lot of this weeks activity has to do with 'non-official' biblepay projects primarily due to the gravity of the situation with Youtubes rules changing soon.  Ive been downloading rapture content on my local SAN and so far I have thousands of rapture videos.  Im shooting for 20 terabytes of Christian content.  Once this is converted and we have a plan to ensure it is public domain then I will make it available in the treasure trove to get us started.  Id like to make SEO links for all this to drive traffic to biblepay to watch the videos on the decentralized web.

The other thing Im working on is trying to make it possible to create a decentralized gift card through e-mail.

I would ultimately like the user to be able to purchase a $10 gift card that is sent directly to an e-mail address from the RPC, without any other addl info required.
(Decentralized, how:  The connector we write will be open source and can be run by any pool owner).

** TOKOK UPDATE **

I received a very cryptic update:  Please check now to see if all deposits and withdrawals have been made, and MIP just confirmed his test worked.

EDIT:  My test bbp tx did go through to tokok, looks like they cleared the problem.

416  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BiblePay | 10% Charity | POBH CPU | Sanctuaries (Masternodes) | Orphans on: December 05, 2019, 07:26:51 PM
I'm attempting to withdraw some coins out of Tokok for the first time (about $200 worth),
They are stuck in "Pending approval" status the past ~30 minutes

"Notice
- Only after the withdrawal request pass the system audit will it be made successfully
- Withdrawal of some currencies requires manual review. Review Time: 9:30-02:00 (UTC+8)"

https://www.reddit.com/r/Nash/comments/c0rpql/anyone_ever_have_delays_withdrawing_from_tokok/

I will report back how it goes, looks like they'll be doing manually reviewing in an hour

UPDATE: An hour and a half after I posted this, All my withdrawals were approved, got emailed approval for each one

I was able to withdraw from Tokok on Monday Dec 2nd (3 days ago),
I think they operate in China timezone, so its about 2:22am for them right now

So just to get back up to speed on this, now that Cryptobridge is out of business, are there any decentralized exchanges that are healthy that we can apply for?
Do they even really exist?

I did hear back from Delion, they are supposedly trying to replace cryptobridge and they will allow us in for free:
https://delion.online/#usecases

I will reply to them, and graviex and stex this month.

Could someone please give us an update on Tokok, if they are working yet?

I find it very unsettling to not receive a reply from them in 24 hours.

Let me know and tomorrow if we have not heard back, lets talk about forming a grievance.

Have not heard from them either and no deposits have gone through at this point in time

Same here. Support chat says that "all agents are busy" when they were available in few minutes some weeks ago

Ok thanks guys.

Well this is pretty serious for them not to reply to us (with no mandatory upgrades yet) and a 2btc investment.

Checking my inbox, nothing yet.

Ill send them a new high priority email now.

So we have two people here that cant even withdraw the BBP, correct?

Togo and JSheets?

I have deposits in flight to them. Been that way for 6 days. The wallet is not taking them in

Ok, thanks, I have notified them, and, I will test one now on Tokok.

For anyone who missed it, we must upgrade our sanctuaries to deterministic mode early:

Thank you.

Ok, good.  We still have a complaint by JSheets and MIP, I know MIP said he tested and it did not work.

I guess you withdrew in ETHer, guys do we still have two bbp issues with TOKOK or does BBP allow deposits now?

Hi,
I deleted all files except wallet.dat and biblepay.conf  in my Sanctuary and wallet
on both stations I am at block 0 for ~12 hours.

From my Sanctuary  debug.log

Please try :

- Verify system time and time zone are correct
- Remove banlist.dat
- Start with "-erasechain=1"

The log above is normal (that means it wont share data until its synced).
