401  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which Crypto coin Do You Gamble with the Most? on: May 25, 2023, 10:02:13 AM
<snip>
I like my balance displayed in fiat, USD in particular.
Although it is like that, my deposits are mostly in bitcoin, few times in ripple. These deposits are most of the time not just displayed but also converted into fiat. I do not like it if my wallet's value is constantly changing because of the volatility of Bitcoin or XRP.
I don't track my gambling expenses but I think that is a great idea.
402  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you been threaten to stop gambling on: May 24, 2023, 04:45:11 PM

I guess that blew her patience for not telling his winning, so he threaten that he should stop gambling or they part ways, my friend choose his wife so he cannot play until he can convince his wife and promise her to tell her if he won big. Cheesy

How about you have you been threatened by your wife, your girlfriend, or your parents, if so tell us your story.

We cannot blame his wife, it was his fault at the first place. It's his wife, she needs to be aware of what's happening. I would feel bad if I came to the point like what he did. It isn't fair to the partner's side.

I'm glad that I never received any threat. I received advices before though that I should not gamble the money which I need. My partner is supportive and understanding, also I'm being reminded to be responsible of using my money.
403  Economy / Gambling / Re: Help us to choose a bonus for a review campaign! on: May 24, 2023, 10:49:02 AM

<snip>
Personally, I would want it to be in form of Bitcoin. But in case you do not want it, I might like it being in my Megapri wallet or in a form of free spins (at least around ~$0.2. $0.4 will be better Cheesy).
Bonus feature would also suffice as reward (e.g., bonus feature on Sweet Bonanza).

Question.
Is this the thread where you also want to get the participants? If so, can you count me in? If not, then I'll be looking forward for that review campaign thread.

Good luck!

Sobrang daming players dito kaso nawala nalang karamihan kasi nga bumagsak.
<snip>
405  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have You Experienced Winning Bets By Upsets on: May 23, 2023, 02:54:54 PM
<snip>

I had some bets before like that, but since they were underdogs I only wagered few bucks, the odds were really good but it'll be a huge lost if I placed higher, that's why I decided to play it safe with lowering the risk.
I did these bets maybe only for around 10 matches. The result were even for me, which is better than I expected.
406  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Just.bet | The Web3 Casino You Deserve - Bet directly through your web3 wallet on: May 23, 2023, 10:18:20 AM
Bet directly through your wallet, settled instantly into your address. No middleman, no KYC, no tampering, no bullsh*t.
Is this completely decentralized?
When will you release full details regarding your "Be the House" offer?
Pardon if it may seem to be a dumb question, but, are profits from this bankroll investment also directly sent to the wallet?

I really like the idea of web3 casinos. I feel that it is much safer.

I had a great impression to your site, however, from what Lucius's mentioned, it might get ruined if proven true.
407  Economy / Gambling / Re: NFTonSPIN.com - Leading Crypto Casino With Get Full Refund If Not Satisfied on: May 21, 2023, 04:46:53 PM

This seems to good to be true. It is advisable to be careful with this site. Everything just doesn't feel real. Even the live (online) player count seems to be static, lol . The offers are very rewarding, but again, it is sketchy, so proceed with caution.
I don't know how the OP can defend their site about these concerns, or if (s)he is even interested to our feedbacks.
408  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Online Casino promoter hahabulin na ng CICC on: May 21, 2023, 02:03:57 PM
<snip>

409  Economy / Gambling / Re: What is a web3 casino for you? on: May 21, 2023, 11:58:43 AM
Lately we have seen a lot of online casinos that are considering themselves as Web3.0 but in reality it’s just a name, they don’t over a real Decentralized experience for players.
So i want to know from you what’s are all the features an online casino should have to be considered as web3.0 casino?

Web3 casinos should be those casinos that operate in a completely decentralized manner, of which, KYC would not be necessary. Their games should also be decentralized, meaning no 3rd party is involved unlike what we currently have. I am not sure of this, but I think the bet winnings should be automatically credited to the player's wallet (e.g., Metamask); no need for wallet deposits and withdrawals as it would mean that the coins are being handled by the casino... and that's not what web3.0 decentralization is.

So to me, Web 3.0 casinos are MAINLY about decentralization.

411  Economy / Gambling / Re: Enough to consider a casino scam? on: May 20, 2023, 05:20:41 PM

This is why it could be good to test them with little money first, that's if the bonus offered is so important to the person. If not, I would advise anyone to go for the old and reliable ones that one could review well online and have rest of mind with.

Another thing is the KYC, I simply can't deal with the casino which is no KYC, it automatically means they are not regulated.
I played with casinos that doesn't ask (from what I am aware of) for KYC before they were doing lots of promotions here and are managed by reputable managers, if they aren't,  I won't play there. These casinos though, are now asking for KYCs for some of their users. They were also launched their casinos around that time. Personally , I would only trust new casinos if I think that they have good professionalism and engagement with the community, which is rare to see nowadays since lots of potentially scam casinos are being launched from time to time.
412  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Confusion about sweepstakes and gambling on: May 20, 2023, 03:29:35 PM
<snip>
1. Is Sweepstakes illegal in the US?

2. Is Sweepstakes gambling or not?
AFAIK, sweepstakes are legal in US. However there might be some rules and regulations applied depending  of your residing state.

Regarding if it is a kind of gambling or not - no, it isn't. Did the participants wagered anything valuable to them? Did they paid for the tickets? If the answers are no, then it shouldn't be considered as a form of gambling. Sweepstakes is a marketing strategy of businesses wherein they giveaway prizes for the sake of promotion. From that context, all are free equals not gambling.

I’ve noticed that those who comment reserve before not all of them posted their artwork, maybe they are not a able to finish the artwork or they don’t have the intention to edit it at all.

This is a strategy btw since this is a contest many are being afraid to be copied by someone else, but then again if you are the first one to post the idea of the art, you get the advantage of the others.
Some of those might won't be able to submit for whatever reason it might be. It is fine at all.
Also, the submission deadline is still more than a week ahead. There's no need for early conclusion if they will edit their posts or not. Expect  though that most of it will be updated in the last few days of the contest.

I am not sure if participants' submission date matters with the judges' scoring. But I guess, not.
414  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is this considered a safe practice on: May 19, 2023, 09:44:47 AM

What are the disadvantages of using a credit card on online casinos? Any? Would you dare do such to earn more money?
One risk that I can think related to this is identity theft — people who has your credit card details can make use of your information to open new accounts that they can use for illegal activities. This is one issue that also happens with KYC processes.
Personally, I wouldn't want use credit card for payments online (incl. gambling platforms or even when shopping online). I prefer to use cash, e-cash, or cryptocurrency than connect my card to the platform, unless extremely needed.

Our identity is the most vulnerable when we do this. AFAIK, credit card transactions requires OTP or PIN codes to complete the transaction. *Please correct me if I'm wrong with this.
415  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What was your biggest fear with starting in crypto? on: May 18, 2023, 03:30:52 PM
Genuinely want to know what prevents your friends/gf/ colleagues from investing? Did you have any barriers when you first started?
Few years back then, my fear was that I could lose all of the money if I will invest it since I only had very little knowledge about crypto. I believe that it nature to us of not investing to things we do not know about.
However, back then my first investment was to shitcoins.
I don't have any idea on how can I know of potential scam projects and sh*tcoins. To give you a brief idea, there was some times back then that I really gotten into no-utility coins and lose some of my earned money from doing certain jobs in crypto space. It was a good lesson though, so I'm fine that I had experienced that.

For our friends or anyone, I think they also are afraid of starting to invest in crypto since it is a gray area to them.

Some other factors might be related to the fund security, and the volatility risk of cryptocurrency. People think that it can be hacked. Also, as we know it, cryptocurrencies are real volatile assets. But in the case of Bitcoin, I believe that later on, it'll be less volatile.
416  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Paano Ka Ba Manghikayat o Mag educate Sa Mga Kababayan Natin on: May 18, 2023, 02:00:46 PM

Meron akong isang recent na pag introduce ng Bitcoin (from past a week or two).
Bale yung Mempool yung una kong naipakita s akanya then Blockchair (pero overview lang yun, as in pahapyaw).
He seem to have that curiosity and willing ness na mag explore din.

I would love to have some discussion with them.
417  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there play and pay later casinos? on: May 18, 2023, 09:40:58 AM
<snip>
I honestly haven't heard before that Pay Later concept can be associated with gambling. But now that you said it, I do think that it'll be a good feature to have, it comes with specific terms and conditions first of course. If it'll be implemented, I think the player need to have met some conditions such as wagering requirements and deposit amount, either or both may be time-bound. Big requirement could include a KYC. But I have a hunch that the casino might even just hand-pick those eligible players.

It is a necessity to have these pre-conditions to ensure that the casino will not be easily be disregarded by the player as it potentially lessens that risk for the casino.
418  Economy / Gambling / Re: What all are your considerations before picking your go to sportsbook? on: May 17, 2023, 03:56:48 PM
I don't usually make deposits and play on newly released casinos due to them, obviously, not having any kind of reputation. What I am looking out is their reviews & reputation, professionalism, social media engagement, how they write (eg., their Terms of Service), bonuses, and withdrawal waiting time & process.

<snip>
Besides, you made mention of KYC which thrills me, many would say they would prefer the no-KYC option, and this always baffles me as to what kind of thinking has those people. With KYC, you are better of in terms of some regulations for better assurance because no regulated casino would dare to void KYC. Still, one has to do their research to be sure of this.
<snip>
Regulated casinos is safer to play at that's probably why some people likes to consider that first. However (most of us knows this already), licensed casinos doesn't mean that we won't be having any problems with their service; they could also turn to be fraud.
419  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: A long term investor here, thinking about adding RoLLBit Token on: May 17, 2023, 10:18:01 AM
<snip>
But if the casino is known, trusted, and has good amount of user base, then the investment will be less risky, IMO. If I was very aware of the launch date of RBO, I would have invest on it even just with few bucks since I know how reputatble Rollbit is.
If there will be more interesting utilities, I won't doubt if RLB gets more valued overtime.

Is RLB currently be used as betting currency in Rollbit casino?

*This is not an investment advice, please DYOR.
420  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can someone stole your money with seed phase? on: May 17, 2023, 06:58:32 AM
Will someone have access to your wallet without your device but the person manage to see your private keys and copy them without your knowledge. Will the person be able to withdraw your money or change password and block you from having access to your wallet?
They won't be needing to know what your password is. They can set up a new one once they entered the seed phrase to the system. If they can do it, that means you can do it too.

Also, there is no way that they can OR you can block each other from accessing the wallet WHILE you both knew the seed phrase exactly. As far as I know, that feature doesn't exist.
It's best to not store your seeds online, take the hassle and write it down then keep it to the safe place.
