401  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What if cryptocurrency on: July 15, 2020, 05:48:30 PM
I have been thinking if cryptocurrency projects should come back as it was in the early 2016 to 2017 as many of us came into cryptocurrency industry the time it has been made visible to many people, because that early 2016 a lot of people don't really have the knowledge and how it works that time, what do you think that will happen if those days should come back in the crypto phase?

it will be great, and there will be a lot of difference if the situation returns again. crypto investors have matured in making decisions, meaning they will be more confident in determining their investment. failures like the past few years will not be repeated, everyone has begun to think realistic in exposing the crypto market.
402  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance Card Launches in Europe on: July 14, 2020, 06:31:33 PM
good news. but wait, what is the real function of this card. Can we withdraw money using this card?.  so it means binance will collaborate with several banks to be able to use their ATMs. or binance debit card can only be used for merchant payments only?
403  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: People are ignoring that Proof-of-Bandwidth is an actual thing on: July 13, 2020, 11:31:31 PM
indeed the demand for bandwidth will continue to increase in the future, this is due to the adoption of the 5G network. but replacing a previously centralized system into decentralization requires a high cost. and I think adding storage for bandwidth in the mainstream way will be cheaper. if proof-of-bandwidth is better, companies like google, netflix, or apple must have started developing this method. because you know those companies really need bandwidth to make users more comfortable.
404  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it just me or there are others who have same thoughts? on: July 13, 2020, 01:08:00 AM
basically dump are inevitable. this all applies to all new projects, whether he has a bounty campaign or not. don't think only bounty participants are disadvantaged, try to think of investors too. the main reason for dumps is that one of them is a sales bonus when pre-ico or private-sales are too large. investors who buy when tokensales will get a loss before they get a profit. and sometimes there are also some devs who deliberately dump in the market just to get more money.

so basically all who contribute are disadvantaged. just because devs want their tokens to sell more, they use bad methods
405  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What was the first-ever ICO you’ve invested? on: July 11, 2020, 02:12:02 PM
My first ICO was cobinhood, at that time I invested 1 ETH and got 100% ROI from my investment. after that I invested in several ICOs because I saw the profits that I got from the project. the second project that I invested in was Pundix, Utrust, and INS ecosystem (now insolar). at that time I saw their project was quite convincing because it could raise a sizable amount of funds. after that I also invested heavily in new projects, but nothing worked. seeing the number of new projects that did not turn a profit, I decided to focus on trading.
406  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it risky to invest in new crytpo coin/tokens??? on: July 11, 2020, 03:26:11 AM
Many of us were well known the Coinmarketcap from where we receive all cryptocurrency like coins and tokens details like on which exchange they listed, what is the 24-hour treading volume, or which platform they based on, etc. These days many new crypto coins and tokens was introducing and listing on many exchanges and It makes a very difficult decision for the investor to choose which coins or tokens should they invest to make some good profit. Many of the new cryptocurrency was makes a good pump in their stating days and after they dump in a very dramatic way. This cause a big loss to the investors and the trust in these types to new coins and tokens was finished. So, the main question is that Is it risky to invest in new crypto coins/tokens? or it is good for a very certain time of investment?

now it is indeed very risky to invest in new coins. the market is not very friendly with new projects, this is what makes it very difficult now. plus the requirements for listing are also quite heavy. making new coins does not have an ecosystem that is conducive to growth. at the end of new coins only listing on exchanges that have a bad reputation and low trading volume. and it slowly disappears without any chance of getting investor attention.
407  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: TikTok PUMPS Dogecoin Cryptocurrency | ÐOGE going to $1?!!! on: July 10, 2020, 04:38:40 PM
Dogecoin volume is up over 600% and the price is up over 60% in the last week thanks to TikTok users PUMPING the Dogecoin cryptocurrency. Let's review if DOGE can hit $1 dollar a coin?!

tiktok has a very big role. but doge $1, I think this is too impossible. currently the price of doge 0.0038 $ needs a very large surge to make it a reality. so I don't think this will be possible. but one thing I believe, doge will slowly rise and all because of tiktok
408  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin smart contracts are not developed? on: July 10, 2020, 11:40:51 AM
I think the reason is transaction fees. on bitcoin networks the fee is quite high compared to other blockchain networks such as ethereum, EOS, or TRON. so even though it was developed, surely many people would prefer another smartcontrac which costs cheaper. therefore they better not do that. they prefer to focus on the initial goal of making bitcoin a currency that can be accepted by everyone.
409  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DENT COIN....????? on: July 09, 2020, 02:34:13 PM
don't buy it ...
my advice is better find another coin that is better. DENT has become one of the worthless shitcoins. DENT prices will not rise again after a big dump, do not waste your money only for coins like this. think about it one more time, don't you regret buying it.
very unfortunate indeed. whereas in the past this project was good with many updates that were even listed on major exchanges such as binance and others. I do not believe it will be a shitcoin.

big market is no longer a guarantee. many large projects in the past were listed in the major market, but now they are no longer heard. just look at binance now many altcoins have sub-standard volumes. big markets cannot provide guarantees that they can maintain prices. I used to believe this too, but after I saw the reality. I no longer focus on coins like this. too risky even though the price is cheap, it's better to find a coin that has a future.
410  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DENT COIN....????? on: July 09, 2020, 02:14:08 AM
Hi guys, i am thinking to buy few DENT coins in my portfolio....From their whitepaper and website and a little bit more of a research about their project , it looks like a legit project related to telecom industry.... So this project already has a working product, working website and their recently released 2020-21 roadmap looks good too...Also their app is already working in partnership with samsung phones and in 140 countries..I  dont know why this project is still going down....

Telecom industry is a growing industry,....So i was planning to hold it for 1-3 years since its price is too low and i think it will atleast reach its ATH in next bull run in a multi trillion dollar crypto industry when every shit coin pumps , so there are high chances it will pump too😄😄

Actually i have already Vechain,Digibyte,Ada,Zil, Neo in my portfolio. Morever , if i suffer a loss in this project, i believe that loss will be totally compensated by other holdings so i am thinking to take a chance😁😁😁

What are your views about this coin currently  Grin Grin Huh?

don't buy it ...
my advice is better find another coin that is better. DENT has become one of the worthless shitcoins. DENT prices will not rise again after a big dump, do not waste your money only for coins like this. think about it one more time, don't you regret buying it.
411  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There is no ROI if the crypto is a stablecoin on: July 08, 2020, 04:12:33 AM
I don't think anyone has a stablecoin for the long term. they only use stablecoin according to their function. so no one cares about ROI. Stablecoin is sometimes used by someone to make it easier for them to buy crypto coins in the market, without the need to transfer FIAT. there are also those who use Stablecoin to transfer funds between market crypto
412  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Facebook advertising boycott could be a good thing for crypto startups. on: July 07, 2020, 03:17:59 PM
Many companies around the world have joined in on the Facebook advertising boycott and it seems that it's not stopping anytime soon. With a flurry of companies leaving and setting this trend, this could mean more business for crypto social and advertising projects like Brave and Steem. It will also be arguably beneficial for crypto companies especially, to not have to depend on Facebook for advertising and hopefully we'll see crypto companies utilizing different platforms for advertising.

it's still too quick to conclude this, because there are still many advertising networks that can be used besides Facebook ads. if many companies are boycotting, I think they will use the google adsense platform, rather than a crypto-based platform. crypto advertising networks are still not popular, so many companies prefer mainstream platforms that are wider.
413  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Philippines SEC warns against crypto investment. on: July 06, 2020, 03:01:36 PM

The Philippine SEC warned those who were involved in crypto schemes could face a fine or 21 years of imprisonment or both."[/i]

is this also applied to those who trade crypto there?
if yes, this is very bad. then crypto will be completely illegal there.
414  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is cost-reduction attractive enough for businesses to use blockchain? on: July 06, 2020, 01:58:23 PM

As we approach mid-year, this is a good time to step back and have these businesses look carefully with their practices. Is this the perfect time to get them introduced to blockchain technology?

For companies that don't understand crypto at all, I don't think now is the right time. it's hard to convince them when the crypto market is unstable like this. although crypto has many advantages, without a good market. no companies will be truly interested even if we explain all the advantages of the blockchain.
415  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any successful precious metal crypto? on: July 03, 2020, 12:20:07 PM
Since the beginning of cryptocurrency we have  seen many precious metal crypto project. With my little knowledge i don't know any successful one. All precious metal crypto projects disappeared after funding phase. Is there any successful precious metal crypto and traded?

no, to my knowledge there is no success, all ends in failure or scam. I think it's very unlikely that crypto can be backed up by gold or something. these two things are very volatile, it makes more sense if it's about FIAT. many cryptos supported by FIAT still survive today, such as tether.

so if in the future there is a project that says he's backed up by precious metal. better forget it, because it will not work.
416  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What altcoins will give in excess of profit in a growing market? on: November 17, 2019, 04:52:48 PM
Guys, let's try to figure out which altcoins can give a huge% growth when the entire cryptocurrency market flies to the moon. I have a friend who bought xem when it cost very very little and earned more than $ 100K on growth, I think that now there will be such coins that our pockets can make rich, you just need to know which projects have a chance, so let's offer each other options Smiley

for now it is very difficult to find a project like this. altcoin is no longer profitable to hold long-term, so it's impossible to make big profits this way anymore. so it's better to invest in old coins that already have a lot of demand, than to bet on new coin speculation. maybe a little profit, but this is better than holding a coin that has a high risk.
417  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top Cryptocurrencies to Invest in 2020 on: November 16, 2019, 04:32:52 PM
this is all based on my experience, the best crypto investment is only bitcoin and ethereum. the rest is only suitable for short-term investments or for daily trading. holding too long will only make the risk of loss even higher. although in 2020 there will be a bullrun though, but these two coins are the best for investment. don't spend your time watching other coins, because they are all useless.
418  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is True Decentralization a Myth? on: November 16, 2019, 03:30:09 AM
there is no perfect decentralization, all consensus has its drawbacks. so don't be surprised by this. but I think the current blockchain technology (except POS / DPOS) is better and far from centralized. even though it's not perfect yet, but we can still compromise on this.
419  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Margin Trading Crypto Exchange on: November 15, 2019, 02:42:04 PM
their margin trading feature reminds me of Poloniex, we can lend our cryptocurrency and earn interest from it or borrow it from someone else.
kucoin is a better place for someone who likes to do it compared to poloniex.
is there any exchange out there that offers the same feature as kucoin and poloniex?

binance also has margin trading feature, same as kucoin and poloniex. maybe you want to try it, and I see their volume is quite large too. huobi and bitmex also have that feature too, but I prefer it in binane.

or you can go here https://cryptomargintrading.info/, to see all exchanges that have a margin trading feature
420  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will POS lead to Ethereum's centralization (like EOS)? Why? Why not? on: November 15, 2019, 03:08:50 AM
POS is identical to centralization, but in ethereum I don't think that will happen. because ethereum isn't just POS, later they will have 2 consensus of POS and POW.

actually what I'm afraid of is not the centralization of Ethereum, but the manipulation that will occur from the POS. the more Whales who hold Eth, the greater their chance to manipulate the market.
