Ah yeah I've heard of that before and I am very very interested in the project, Thank you for taking the time to suggest that to me, maybe one day when i have some extra cash to spend I will setup a node for my small town, but for now I will propose on figuring out how to make the incentive to put up a node with Bitcoins

SOOOOOO GREAT!
403  Bitcoin / Project Development / Bitcoin + Decentralized Internet = ? on: November 26, 2012, 05:51:36 PM
I think Bitcoin + Decentralized Internet would basically be awesome, i Just can't figure out how that would work off the top of meh head.

My idea is to send a packet of data to my neighbor with the intent of it reaching to the next town over.
The packet would contain some low BTC amount inside it like 0.0005 BTC so my neighbor takes 0.000001 BTC for taking the time, energy, resources to facilitate my needs to get that packet sent to the appropriate destination. This would happen with every node with my destination receiving BTC until no BTC left. I don't know how I would calculate how many btc each node would get or the success of the packet reaching there.

Perhaps every node can send "free" packets for the sake of collecting IP routing table lists and locations and an agreement of the cost of each node, once the list is established the packet can be calculated it's cost and pick the route of least resistance(not too low on BTC node code but not entirely high but more on the low side). Once a line is considered the networking packet will be sent along with the multi-sig BTC transaction, each node checks the transaction from the Blockchain and verifies it before sending off the traffic(Assuming its computationally feasible to do this in the future). once that node sees that the multi-sig transaction is there (with its bitcoin address related to the transaction) it can send off the packet of data to the next node, each node does this until the last node confirms and then the Bitcoins are released to each node simultaneously once the packet reaches its destination.

Some other thoughts...
I could check up on the status of a packet with the security of the block chain too

Thoughts?

No licensing terms planned?

Open Source.
Someone42 was working on it. Either way, all design files will be made available.
I would just like to refine a few things first.

BTW, thanks for the reference to the ATMEL HRNG. I put it in the circuit.

Cool cool I'll be checking back looks like a fun project!

I can build audio equipment, cheaper than what you can get from buying from the store, and audio equipment like a mixer, equalizer, processor, anything that involves processing a audio signal, however the only thing you will have to buy(besides compensating me in Bitcoins for my time) if you include me in this project is you will definitely have to get some nice speakers which i can help you with as things like that involves quality research and development for loud accurate sound and I just am unable to make a great sounding speaker Tongue PM me mate, let me know what you require and I'll get back to you!
407  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: How to give Bitcoin to someone as a gift who does not have a bitcoin client yet? on: November 23, 2012, 06:04:24 AM

408  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: How do I setup a headless bitcoin server? on: November 23, 2012, 06:00:14 AM
Also remember to backup your bitcoin wallet every generated address after 99 addresses have been generated other wise you will lost your BTC
409  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: How do I setup a headless bitcoin server? on: November 23, 2012, 05:58:48 AM
I think that you need to allow the ip address at 127.0.0.1 some systems don't consider 0.0.0.0 anything and it just a blackhole
also don't ever accept ip address as the value being *.*.*.* on a product system or with any high amount of BTC in your system with that enabeld anyone can brute force your username password and if its a non HTTPS connection then they can see the username/password with out any computation needed
410  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [PHP LIBRARY] Bitcoin Development Kit for PHP | v0.0.x | Documentation,API,Wiki on: November 23, 2012, 05:31:38 AM
I updated the links found in the Original post as when i renamed the project in github i was forced to rename all urls to reflect the change so if the links were not working before they work now.
411  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Free source code and live demo, how to accept btc on your site on: November 23, 2012, 04:19:52 AM
The bitcoin-php project is a year old and is really bloated might i suggest using a json rpc query library its super small http://jsonrpcphp.org/ for demo source code check out my signature link to see how to use json and Bitcoin together.

Wish you the best
412  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: FOR SALE: Bitcoin ATM (a California 'C' corp 10,000,000 shares) on: November 23, 2012, 04:14:05 AM
This is a cool idea. I would use it if I was in the market to buy some coins. People feel comfortable being able to buy something in person.
Its a good idear if done right, but lets say it was done right as far as security i guess i would only use this if i was travelling and dont have any BTC on my person i could withdrawl from a banking service but i dont have a bank account for the reason of thats why i use bitcoins for my own security and neglegance. So i would write my own script that would send me bitcoins to my persons or use the bank service to transfer bitcoins to my persons. So i guess the only selling points for this product is for those who dont have a bitcoin enabled device to transfer butcoins on their person which means that there is no selling points unless you transfer bitcoins to the atm and out comes fiat then you have one selling point but dosent sound like a high demand product even in a Bitcoin only world.

Im not trying to attack this product or company i would just like to probe for some practical uses before i can accuratly judge to the project to be serious for my purposes in thenear future.

I wish you luck!

"Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one. "
Will i test this theory? no.
Have i seen things during near death experience that leads me to believe this true, yes

The problem is language is made for survival(and making transactions/contracts) not communicating your deepest thoughts with out bias, once we come up with words that properly explain spiritual experiences people won't sound so stupid when they are talking about god or experiences beyond known scientific reality

*Planned Features Updated
I would like to provide (like satoshi dice) where a dev can track where the Bitcoins came from and the dev can decide what to do with that information them selves.
