401  Economy / Economics / Re: Not easy times in the world but how the goverment will improve? on: February 18, 2024, 09:25:54 AM
There's no way I can defend the government or even speak in thier Favour.I obviously do not know where all these economical threats seem to be coming from but whatever it is,I just hope light will definitely come.
There's never anytime when we'll hear or see something positive and impressive about the economic system, its always bad to bad and bad again.
We don't have a perfect government and the government has no capability to make us happy. They only ensure that they  work to protect their citizens from harm by enacting and enforcing laws that promote safety and security, and by providing emergency services like healthcare services, supporting the educational system and also grant access to social and basic amenities.
Every country is facing several challenge and their dealing with it in a way that is acceptable and easy so that they can promote the living condition of the citizens.like presently,so many countries are on the verge of economical crisis that we formly know as "Recession."
And it's undoubtedly a traumatizing situation for the leaders of every country and we all know what that means.Even so,government has no business in telling citizens how to live any aspects of their lives. Perhaps,we should not Also blame the government for our predicament.
402  Economy / Economics / Re: Save money today so money would save you tomorrow. on: February 18, 2024, 08:52:58 AM
Savings;its so pointless to think that you can save your way into millions these days. You wake up every morning and your so called savings cannot even afford or cannot be summed up to your needs or upkeep.Saving is obviously meant to cover emergencies and it's not like it can maintain your lifestyle for a lifetime.
People have a problem with overspending, and they know their income is insufficient to carry out their daily individual responsibilities Financial illiteracy is one of the reasons why people have difficulty with saving and investing money.
Its not just savings for me,while your saving, also invest. The difference between saving and investing is the risk management and the earning aspects. The outcome  of saving money can be relatively small compared to what you get from the aftermaths of investing.Investing requires a lengthy risk factors while saving bears no risks for once.
Since the Goal is to make life more comfortable for oneself, its important to be creative, and  put your money into things that will make you more money.
403  Economy / Economics / Re: Step up your game before the game steps you down. on: February 17, 2024, 05:24:34 PM
Life is so hard,if life wasn't hard,we wouldn't have learnt a thing or grow in the first place.Life gets shorter and shorter with time and its important to make the most while it lasts.Whatever it is that you can engage in legally to put food on your table or guarantee you the best life that You deserve, embark on it.Do what you can to live within your means.
Its not okay be stranded and being stranded prevents you from been accessible to activate whatever opportunity that is in circulation. The government is not responsible for your personal achievements and information, whereas, also ensure that you're useful and productive till your dying day.
404  Economy / Economics / Re: El Salvador's success? on: February 17, 2024, 04:44:34 PM
~Snipped~
The reason I'm not going into much detail regarding Bitcoin's adoption as legal tender is because there are plenty of other threads analyzing it. I don't doubt that Bitcoin has provided some sort of assistance in the economy; it's very possible; however, I believe that it wasn't what Bukele was anticipating when he introduced Bitcoin to the economy.

Bukele's approach to tackling the crime rate was harsh but justified, and I personally don't think any other approach would have such a success rate. Not only were gangs responsible for thousands of deaths, but they were also ruining the economy in a variety of ways. With it now being a safe country, the tourism sector is far more likely to boom, leading to more work opportunities for locals and increased revenues.
The security problem of el Salvador had been a measure concern to Nayib bukele after his first tenure.El Salvador has faced too much problems, inhumane treatments, harsh and life threatening that restricted them access to freedom of movement. The situation of human security deter their way lives as citizens.
El Salvador president have successfully completed and offered the citizens an opportunity to have bitcoin as a legal tender and he will soon make sure that he handles this security problem with ease so citizens can live without been subjected to inhumane treatments against their will.

405  Economy / Economics / Re: The bad things will make people hate fiat currency no trust in goverments on: February 17, 2024, 04:17:23 AM
Problem is not that only poor people suffering now the problem is that rich and wealthy ones start losing their wealth and that's when goverments have problem
It's a global issue that everyone has to deal what's with the crisis that we're suffering right now. There goes the wars that affects a lot of commodities that we need and that sums up to the result of high prices of oil.

And when oil prices goes up, then everything is going to be a domino effect which we don't like to happen. It's being harder this time compared to the old days.

But are we going to stop with that? No. We have to keep on living and moving on because we're still alive and that's why with the next years to come, there could be some more interesting retrieval and redeem that shall come.

Despite all the challenges that we get, fait still has a role to play in government and nothing can change that.Even if most of us prefer crypto to fait,50% of crypto users make use of fait.
As a matter of fact, the government is in charge, and fait stands a chance to remain in circulation. Its obvious fait is worthless,we really don't have to abandon fait in just one second, the government has failed many times and fait has been a bone in the neck to us.Let's watch how the government will remedy the problem with fait.
406  Economy / Economics / Re: Some persons lacks financial sensibilities on: February 17, 2024, 03:23:36 AM
She expected me to purchase her items with the gifted money.

It looks like you're the one dating a materialistic girlfriend and not you friend. So you should man up and stop saying my friend's girlfriend. Grin

Ladies want to be loved, cared for and pampered with gifts, especially on an important day like the Valentine's day. However, just as all shoes have different sizes, that's how we all have different financial capacities. If a lady cannot accept or is not satisfied with the gifts and money I can shower her at my level. Then, It's a red flag for me and I'd gladly pack my bag and baggages and run a way, because I'll not steal to impress a lady.

Honestly, its so alarming to hear and see how some ladies place unnecessary demands on their partners without a second thought forgetting that they have a better role to play in their relationship. This is why some guys are scared of going into a relationship these days.If you think you're not living to her expectations,I bet you,I'm so sorry for you because you can live up to anyone's expectations.
If she's to materialistic, have a healthy conversation with her, decide on what you can live with, and what you can'nt,understand her personality, and if she's reasonable, she'll understand.
407  Economy / Economics / Re: Economy pressure on: February 16, 2024, 02:21:13 PM
Other people are forced to find side hustles or a second job. You can't really depend on the government to provide aid or even help those who are in the poverty zone all the time. That's why this day and age is a curse to all the up and coming adults: you can never really raise a family with these wages unless you work double shifts or have another stream of income. That's also why most young adults are choosing not to bear kids, and with it comes declining population. Choose your poison, I guess. You can't have even the most basic of things if you have these people in power running things.

Financial pressure is something that affects every homes.its not really easy to have kids, cater for their financial needs like food, school fees, and even their upkeep.Inflation is one of the things that is affecting many countries presently, and its only the ones that understands how to deal with the logic that can survive here.
408  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Difference between afford to lose and can't afford to lose. on: February 15, 2024, 02:32:10 PM
When you are depending on someone for assistance because you want to gamble it means that you are risking what you can not afford to lose. Why because you don't have the money to gamble but someone have to give it to you before you can stake.
But when you have jobs that pays you money so well and you are gambling it means you are risking what you can afford to lose. Why because ones you lose your job will give you another money.

However, many people would say even if you have jobs but you are staking higher it also means you are gambling with what you can not afford to lose. Moreover it's true and I have to dauth but I have a feeling that ones someone that have a good paying job is staking more than what he can afford to lose, there is no different between addiction there.

Literally there's a grammatical error here in your first statement which days "afford to lose",you rather say  Can't afford to lose because you can't afford to lose something you have worked for as pertaining your time, effort, strength.
They are two different quotes entirely and you can't use them for same sentence cause it just formulate a blunder in the English.

Let's say you earn daily and 5% of it goes for Gamble always and as you tend to do so you loose eventually each time so when you make up your mind that this time around you will make a big win,it quite explains that you can't afford to loose cause you have a lot workings to attain that .but  in the other hand even if you make savings for your gambling each time and you loose as well it doesn't mean you can afford to loose...
409  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: While placing bet what comes your mind on: February 15, 2024, 02:19:41 PM
That is how gambling is, as someone is gambling, a thought like this will come to the person's mind. The person will want to increase the money to gamble. Infact, this is one of the main reasons gamblers easy lose money while gambling.

We have always say that gamblers should use little amount of money to gamble and they should not go beyond their gambling budget which should be a very small amount of money to what they re earning.

Yeah increasing  the money might multiple ur earnings sometimes but what comes to my mind other than this is to win, just win so I can get a double of my funds used for it .
A certain time I want to gamble,I invariably use a little amount tho and won at first, was so amazed so instead of collecting my earnings and leave I had it in mind to use my proceeds to stake again, which was a double of what I use to Play but the results this time around was shocking.i lost the entire game and I had to balance up cause my stake was above my expectations.

Do that's it,I took time to assimilate what had happened,my friends that were around were just laughing at me cause I would have just followed up and take my first win and leave but I learnt from it tho.
410  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will AI Take over the Position of VAR? on: February 15, 2024, 01:58:33 PM
One thing is certain in life, when situation go against us we always complain, but we we are the ones benefiting we won't complain. We have to remember that whatever that involves human there are going to be some errors these errors doesn't mean that the system is not working, it only mean that there are still room for improvement. Even if Ai takes over there are still people who will complain. If CAF utilized var correctly that means every other football bodies can do it too, it's just for them to continue improving their errors.

Definitely I agree to this.one thing in life that is ever constant is change.so as things tend to change to the dimensions of revolution the human mindset towards a lot of things changes too and that's the certainty of life.

Yes CAF might have been trying the long while but the duration of when they can't be recognize again for a default doesn't mean they ain't good enough,of course they are.
But with the look of things  Ai is taking over them and I'm sure they will go beyond CAF expectations if They don't realize the bone of contention of their problems and remedy it for the better.
411  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling addiction lead to domestic violence? on: February 15, 2024, 01:44:35 PM
In most cases a gambler addicts is prone to creating a domestic violence in the sense that when such person is not in the right frame of mind  he can be brutal to any happenings around him.
I actually got a friend  who when he gambles and losses  cause havoc to himself and his surroundings, sometimes when he stake with huge funds and have it that he'll catch a big fish when he fails he'll start spoiling things around him, even yo a point of smatching his new phone on the floor cause of that.

One thing that causes this domestic violence addicts is anger issues once a gambler have this,he is prone to causes a disaster in his environment and beyond,so it's advise such persons with anger limit gambling abit.
412  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How my gambling life started. on: February 15, 2024, 01:32:44 PM
In years past before the casino and other online gambling bet platforms was discovered and brought to our knowledge, I and some family relatives used to play the card games but on the sequence some of us were becoming unserious in the game that it wasn't competitive so, we decided to have stakes with little amount of cents of $ which we could afford to loose just to buckle and cheers everyone up.
Time goes where we increases the stakes to make us more serious to the extend we began to bet about $1 which we can afford to loose at other expenditures but it seems unbearable loosing it on the caused of betting.
On a serious note, we saw this as a mere bet of competitions and not as gambling. As we advances, we saw it as a domestic gambling and not as the wild gambling that could cause one emotional outbreaks.

Time goes that it becomes unusual that we began to feel offenced and rebelled that we as relatives(1 family) are extorting from each other without empathy for one another and then, we unconciously grew wild developing in sentiments, greeds and taking it as an avenue to make profits.
Alongside, it was more of serious business than the just fun.

Then the casino and other online bet platforms was introduced in time. This was how I was exposed and my begining of gambling life!

My experience was quite different from yours tho, I and my siblings use to play card games and ludo while young and it got to a point where we had to construct This chess game in a board and use bottle cans head to play and then we usually hide it from our parents
It got to one faithful day we were having clean up in the house and my parents saw the board, then my dad rose up in anger and question us,we told the truth actually and we were warned never to play it again that it's gambling we are trying to practice here and it's not permitted in his house,we didn't see it as nothing so important till I came in contact with one or two friends .

So sometimes we stay together and they talk about their winning in bet and so on and I also want to be part of it,Thi wasn't having much funds but I tried betting for some occasions and boom one day I cashed out a huge amount and what I did was to reach out to those friends and family that stood by me and encourage me too.. nevertheless I don't gamble just like that, yes it's for fun but I place my mind on what I want to achieve and I get it.
413  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why in some religion gambling is forbidden? on: February 15, 2024, 01:16:11 PM
When we talk about religion we cannot dine the forbidden things like alcohol, prostitution and many other things in this topic we will discuss why do gambling is forbidden (Haram, interdit) .
So can you tell me why is it forbidden in your religion?
And for the non religious persons what you think ?

Gambling is not forbidden in my country but in my religion it is seen as forbidden because they see it as a sin.ill break this down here:
In my religion,as a fire member and  believer of the word it's not advisable to be seen gambling, cause your otherwise seen or will be label as a child of the world,so the things of the world should not be practiced by you which may include smoking, drinking, prostituting and gambling as well.

But in the long run most people in my religion may not adhere to this as they are only after the  selfish needs of it in the aspect of getting funds.it is forbidden because it makes one go outside his belief and decisions which I will agree to and again my religion see it as that cause they think it makes you to be irresponsible and a nuisance to the public.
414  Economy / Economics / Re: Has everyone become too pesimistic about the economy? on: February 14, 2024, 11:47:09 AM
I personally am quite optimistic about the conditions in my country which will be able to avoid a recession. Although the news media has a lot to say about being wary of a recession. but in fact in the field around me, I see that economic conditions are improving. where the level of people's spending seems to be still normal, even I see they have become much more extravagant lately. and inflation is still under control here.

For the problems of institutional investors, I think they will definitely come back, maybe even they are slowly coming back. Many large companies today have approached crypto. Even with blackrock's current approach proposing a spot Bitcoin ETF is a sign that big things are coming.

Of course everyone needs to know that the economy is going to Change from bad to good but there's never a time that we hear something good from the media about worlds finance or economy. Its always a sad news,an hypertensive news or even the news that can even worsen the ongoing crisis. We're always anticipating for a better economy, but yields tend to fall when bad things are happening in the economy.
415  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do we need more influencial women in crypto to help the gender embrace it? on: February 14, 2024, 11:05:53 AM
First of all,the gender feature is not necessary, secondly, bitcoin is not gender-based which makes it accessible to all.
Honestly, some controversies are not even supposed to be on the table, there's nothing like gender inequality here its not the men's fault that fewer women are not interested in bitcoin.Normally, the man is the head family and he is supposed to be more explorative and committed when it comes to career. Its only few women that are conscious about taking big responsibilities in career.
Most women have less interest in bitcoin, already, been a mother is also a full time job for time and having to deal with too much work load can get them choked up.And its okay for us to never think and believe that the cryptospace is gender-based.
416  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Management on: February 14, 2024, 08:43:33 AM
I often run out of funds due to gambling that is too blind in terms of placing $$ on every bet I make and ends up losing. I do multi-bets and single-bets, every time I win, sometimes I forget myself and use all my $$ on the next bet. This sometimes gives me big wins, but if I'm unlucky I can lose all my funds and this has happened many times.

I started to realize and change my habits. Now I use $$ from the profits from the previous bet to place the next bet and save my initial capital.

What do you think, is this good and can help me overcome losses that will occur so that $$ remains safe and can be used in future betting? Are there other unique ways that you can use to grow your money in gambling? feel free to comment. Thanks

Time is money they use to say.one realistic way you can achieve this is Time management.you make sure you know when to spend and when not to💯.it sure goes a Long way to ascertain your growth in Gambling even if you don't actually win .
Another one is to be discipline in all you do,both in your spending and in your dealings in the casinos.

Yeah most people don't go with their right frame of mind that's why they end up loosing the game and both their funds but you should know all of that, know what you're in for and set your target plans well, then you're sure to be having a big win.aside being an addict you adhere to this it will work out with better results .
417  Other / Off-topic / Re: Having a regular/steady income is important as a gambler. on: February 14, 2024, 08:25:33 AM
Yeah that's right aside responsibilities you should have a set aside income for your gambling that you can get whenever you want it.
but I don't think your steady income for responsibility, feeding and upkeep should still be use for gambling as well it's only reducing the ratio of  how much you need to invest in your welfare, feeding and all of that .

but what I think is aside your income there should still be another income that you generate only for your gamble processes because, you can't use other needs to to cover for your gamble when there's no tendency to raise money for it and you should be discipline in your dealings with this money towards gambling so you won't regret every outcome.
418  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Anyone +18 Play Gamble? on: February 14, 2024, 08:01:40 AM
Does gambling needs experience or anyone +18, even the inexperienced one can also play? Though playing gamble has a limited age grade or age bracket and the accepted is from  +18 years and there are some casinos hall at the door post, it is written clearly that it is only people of +18 can play. But what about the inexperienced ones, are they allowed to play gamble as well? Or they are also restricted to have the fun? In my observation, there are two elements to participate in gambling. One, you must above 18 years in my country and secondly you must have an experience to play, so I want to know if inexperienced people can also play gamble.

Anyone be it with an experience or not can gamble.ij my country yes you must be above 18 to do certain things like gamble, bet, take alcohol and all of that,so one going into that doesn't mean that person is experienced.not at all.
Sometimes you can't tell the age of a person by their looks because this upcoming generation are looking like  above 25 and so on and may have experience in Gambling and betting.
So being inexperienced or experienced doesn't withhold you from doing certain things because you might be under age and still be experienced,or be of age and still not be experienced.

Responsible Gambling Practices Most People Ignore and Sleep on
Of course the factors you mentioned are all the five things above, of course I don't deny that we all know these factors and are common, but I have applied some of these points, such as points [1] and [2], but the risk of loss still occurs.

My understanding is that in the world of gambling there are two methods that often conflict, such as (theory and practice) these two factors don't work properly, as you said above, for me it's all theory, However, practices in the field are far beyond control, which means that most gamblers cannot be held responsible for the losses they face in the gambling arena.

Yes,theory and practice are different and the way you go about them, that's what matters and mostly the practice aspect is the reality of life where you go into the field and executing what you've learnt.
In this area the tendency for winning is on a 50)50  basis.just like a doctor administering medications to a patient when it gets to the practical aspect where he will conduct an operation for instance,he will put is mind on it,cause any mistake he might definitely loose the patient.so it's applicable to gambling.

You saying practice is far beyond control, what are you trying to say,is it concerning the money use for staking or what or the way the game is played in the casinos..but one thing is that the practice on the field matters a lot and should be put on an active check.
420  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Changing initial option and losing the bet on: February 14, 2024, 07:30:01 AM
As a gambler and I do participate on physical gambling, at times this scenario often happens to me. After doing my analysis, checked statistics on games, I have selected option I want to play but when I get to gambling center I will have a thought of changing option or adding  a game  to the initial option I selected and this most time will cost losing the bet.

These acts has cost me from losing bet many times, as a gambler share your thoughts on this and have you been in a similar situation.
Sometimes you will be wondering if there is any spirit monitoring you and pushing you to do certain things or take certain decisions. I can truly understand because you are not the only one that experienced that. I don't know if the entire gambling business have a spirit they release to make one do something that will spoil the bet  Cheesy

It took me some time to understand that these are just normal things without any spiritual connotations.  It just confirms that luck is active as far as gambling is concerned. Some people will feel the urge to adjust or remove a certain game and it will happen that the game the remove or changed was what made them to win. So it is two way thing.

Definitely I usually think that, and I think that might be true because most times you tend to take up a decision and once you arrive at the casino boom everything changes and you will end up loosing the entire game..
And it misg still be that spirit that will urge a gambler to steal, sell properties and borrow just to gamble and at the end you end up loosing everything entirely..

Let's get this straight, this is a reality of life that we need to accept because behind every steps to achieving a goal there's a manipulator and an opposing voice or forces that disrupt it .
