Honestly, how much potential does the GPK have?
Definitely much better than many other coins in the market. 100% POS is a good reason for the start, but the future will be based on how fast the development happens and Promotions In all threads in all currencies I see the same words from people who're holding, even just a bit : "This is going to a great future" "It have sooo much potential" and so on. It's always, always the same thing, people want to believe. And it's understandable, most people want to make money, I even heard some people need money. So, they come around, pick up a project and start to give it faith, and once it done, well, it's a matter of faith. So, I'm not saying this coin doesn't have potential. I'm saying nobody know, it can moon, or it can pathetically fail at 3sat. If a random person is telling you otherwise, it's a lie. Nobody know. We can have an opinion, but we never know. |

Wasted entire day with Linux guide , nothing working , must have PHD in proggramming for that stuff , seriously . If want a lot of people to be insterested , please make it easy for the average joe and give a guide for user friendly Windows , programmers (who else uses stupid linux) earn enough $$$ as is , doubt they will waste time on some crypto mining Come in PMs, I have easy guides in .pdf for this kind of stuff. |

Why is Gopnikcoin reward system so capitalistic? The more you have, faster and more you mine through POS. Isn't that counter-logical to slavic- socialistic way of being equal in reward?
People spreading the gopnik hype aren't gopnik at all. They're a part of a high educated capitalistic society and certainly not close to alternative spaces or way of life exploring the possibilities of a new communism. If they were, they weren't here creating a crypto currency based on investment and speculation. This is just a meme, not a political utopia or an attempt for a better world. |

the biggest problem for me ATM is the stupid high orphan rate. been mining with some people on a private pool 43% orphans.

What wallet are you using ? The ElectrumXSH wallet Try to delete everything in the électrum folder in AppDta/roaming and restore your wallet with the seed + pass (you'll need those to recover your wallet) |

I got an email from my VPS provider this morning, they disconnected the server cause your application was sending more than 16k request per second through the port 9919 to differents ips/ports. They think this is a part of a distributed DDOS attack. I have several others MNs on this VPS and others daemons never reached this connection rate. I don't know if it's a false positive on their side so, I'll wait for an answer from you or for the communauty to review your sources. Meanwhile, I will keep thinking it's a misunderstanding...

Also, to me now Shield need a few things;
- A working qt wallet for windows (if the community agrees on it, we could setup a bounties reserve for Android and OSX wallets once the Windows one is releases. This coin is not premined, see this possibility as an investment to break the 500 sat price one day).
- A strong VISUAL communication on what make it better/different from the others (multi algo, Tor, quantum proof etc..)
- One big exchange (nova ?)
- Early mineurs to not dump like crazy, or the price will be glued in walls.

I want to buy some but I will wait that GPK gets listed on first exchange. So don't even bother sending me offers because I will not buy via the forum. I want to support this project and create some volume on the exchange.
Developer, did you contact some exchanges? Maybe Novaexchange or some other exchange which has the option of voting for new coins to get listed. I think you have a pretty large community and Slav-Network (SSIT, Life of Boris....) could help here with their huge following. We could easily win the vote.

Doesn't have this issue on my side, try to redo everything? There is "issue on my side", plus, your VPS provider might not have the same security policies. If the daemon is used for a DDOS all nodes might not be used. I just want the sources to be reviewed or dev to answer. A 16k request per seconds isn't an accident. |

With websites, it is one thing, but a blockchain that has every node in TOR, and a single non-TOR node is wasted as that single node is broadcasting the entire chain, like the rest. Maybe I am not seeing it, but I will look more closely once the wallet is working.
