401  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: January 2021 — share your gambling experiences on: January 28, 2021, 02:36:33 PM
Still the same, no much different from the previous year but I'm trying to bet in another gambling like Sportsbet and casino. I spend around $50 once a week and divide it into three gambling places (dice, Sportsbet, and casino). Indeed, it is a little money but I just consistently in a few months before to do that, I have no worry about losing $50 in a week at least I can vent my exhaustion after finishing my day's work or maybe after trading. I have no more expectations than my habit of gambling, because expecting to win a lot of money from gambling is useless, enough for me to make gambling a place of entertainment, nothing more.
402  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Survey: 25% of crypto users not securing assets as well as they think on: January 27, 2021, 10:58:08 PM
Hardware wallet only recommended for those who intent to hold bitcoin or altcoin for long term investment, like five years-ten years from now. They are strongly advised to use hardware wallets because they do not instinctively visit the exchange where they store crypto currency.

Different for those who tend to hold bitcoin or altcoin for short term investment like 1 month and more then they will have more activities to see their asset on the exchange. You can imagine how complicated they are if they stores bitcoin and altcoin in a hardware wallet and they have a habit of selling them when they gets a little profit.
403  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy, sell, HODL? on: January 27, 2021, 10:49:30 PM
Bitcoin and other coins dropping a LOT today... what are y'all thinking here? Buy, sell, HODL?
Just read this news https://cointelegraph.com/news/bitcoin-made-up-97-of-total-crypto-inflows-in-2021 .Most of investors right now tend to collect bitcoin as much as as they can when bitcoin price drop comparing to sell their bitcoin when its price try to decrease. Also, your statement maybe wrong because bitcoin price is not drop drastically as you think. You can compare with the increased price movement a few days ago, its price just decrase $14.000 from its all time high, which mean there are still many opportunities to increase more.
404  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: People die from heart attack when they hit the jackpot. on: January 27, 2021, 02:36:34 PM
I feel sorry for them, I can't imagine how it feels when I should enjoy the money but the good have another way. And maybe this is a proof that heart disease will not only take someone's life in a sad state, but he can take someone's life in a happy state. I can't imagine how much money that they spend to buy some tickets for the lottery game, and face many situations when he didn't win the lottery. However, I always have a principle in myself, especially when gambling, make gambling only as entertainment, nothing more than that. So as I can control myself when faced with any situation and I will stay calm.

405  Economy / Exchanges / Re: DEPOSITING times on exchnages... on: January 27, 2021, 02:12:37 PM
I never find the situation, what coin that you choose to deposit?

Until now, I only use binance exchange and I just need less than five minutes to see my fund arrive on binance exchange.

Yeah, indeed it is not worth if you are a trader, you may need to try another exchange to do so. Trading crypto currency now is really easy, you just need money and knowledge against it, as for the exchange factor you can google the top exchange for trading crypto and you will find many exchanges that you can use.
406  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Future is still bullish. on: January 27, 2021, 02:03:59 PM
I read this news yesterday https://cointelegraph.com/news/bitcoin-made-up-97-of-total-crypto-inflows-in-2021 which means there are still having many opportunities for bitcoin price up more than now. More than that, many investors just focus to collect bitcoin when the price tries to meet a correction. As you can see now on the chart, when bitcoin price fall then there will be a spike increase that will happen.

Yeah, hopefully the current situation can continue and can reach its all time high again, because if that happens maybe its price can touch $70.000 and more. Also, the current sentiment is really different from the previous bull run market, I still remember when bitcoin fall quickly at January 2018 ago after its price touched $20.000 as its all time high.
407  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When Do You Take Profit From Your Altcoin Bags? on: January 27, 2021, 12:07:42 AM
Just wondering what your strategy for taking profits on alts?
Depend on the situation, I always find the altcoin that has a good fundamental factor. I never choose to trade in an altcoin if the price movement is rely on bitcoin price movement, I'll be tired watching every movement price.

But, when an altcoin is getting pump because there is a reason behind it the increasing is really crazy and there is no correction. I'll take my profit when I trade in such altcoin I at least take when the price up more than 10-15%.
408  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens if internet connectivity gets terminated on: January 26, 2021, 11:29:51 PM
Tell me some or one factor which can make the internet network can be terminated? I guess there is no chance against that, almost the human activity now is being accompanied with internet. Except indeed from the regulations of each country, such as North Korea, you will not be able to use the internet freely and may be strictly prohibited in that country. However, there is only one country in the world, the rest of the countries in the world are still free to use the internet.
409  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you combat your weaknesses in trading? on: January 26, 2021, 11:21:56 PM
"You may only select up to 14 options" but the options are fixed at 14 and last option is extra . on the option there is "playing it too safe" but is this a weakness ? because i think its not . on trading we are doing are best to play it safe because risks or too much risks are deadly and can turned into loosing .

Well to a point it's not a problem. But if you play constantly too safe you won't be making too much money and you will be better off just investing rather then trading.
As a trader we have to know how much risk that will be faced, not just you make an entry and you don't know how much money that you can afford to lose. In all stuff there will be a risk factor, what will you do or what will you choose there will be a risk, investing is also have a risk and I think it is same with trading.

Count how risk that will be faced when you make an entry. You can match the capital you have, but usually the average trader will only subtract 1-2% for the losses he will face. The reason is simple, when your stoploss getting reached your psycology still comfortable to trade again, and also your strategy will be confident to recover your losses.
410  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the most important cryptocurrencies other than bitcoin? on: January 26, 2021, 11:04:21 PM
I guess the best crypto currency that being used by most people in this world is the crypto currency that regulated by government. Yeah, we have to know that, mass adoption will come if the government allowed them to be used in their country. If the crypto currency got rejected by the government, then there is no one or only a few people who will using it.

Yeah, like monero, a few times ago monero was listed by most exchange. But, most exchange tried to delisted it because some government instructed some exchanges in their area to remove Monero from being traded or used on the exchange. Indeed, Monero is the privacy coin, not the bitcoin we know it for. Our transactions using bitcoin will be visible unless using a mixer service (certain mixers of course). However, with Monero we don't need to choose any service so that our transactions are not visible.
411  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think that bitcoin could hit 10 million ever? on: January 26, 2021, 10:52:43 PM
Do you think that bitcoin could have a market cap of around 200 trillion? Is it feasible?
There will be an opportunity for that, given the bitcoin price always trying to increase a lot after its previous all time has passed. And I'm sure when $42.000 has been passed we will the price will move soared. You can imagine for at least two years bitcoin price has been increasing for more than 100%, I still remember when its price was $3500 as all time high before its price touch $20.000, such price spikes could serve as the basis for bitcoin to be believed to have a market cap of 200 trillion in the future.
412  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why government not take good step? on: January 24, 2021, 10:43:41 PM
They have took a good step, especially in my country and seem like in some countries in this world as well. The government have been regulated the utilization of crypto currency and they included it as a commodity.

So as until now I have no problem when using bitcoin in my country, the government have given me a freedom to take a chance and make bitcoin as my source income. Yeah, I do day trading so far, I have no job in my real life dou to dismissed because coronavirus.
413  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin I should investmen with 5k dollars? on: January 23, 2021, 11:23:44 PM
If I were you I'll buy 1 ETH for long term investment also 5 litecoin for long term investment as well and the rest I'll pick some altcoin which have a good fundamental factor, this is for short term investment.

You can see an altcoin who getting pumped on the exchange, see the reason behind it and if the movement price is reasonable then you can buy the coin. I always do that right now, also I use large laverage in it like 15-20x laverage.

You need to diversify your capital, don't just buy one coin, we don't know what will happen in the future to the coin. Especially DeFi coin, I don't think that all of them will survive for a long time, we know crypto currency will have many event/new development in the future, we can see DeFi coin will slowly dead if the new project coming up.
414  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you combat your weaknesses in trading? on: January 23, 2021, 11:06:37 PM
Yeah, same with me. Most point that you mentioned I did often as well, like panic buying when I do this thing the price back to fall because I wasn't consider the other factor like I didn't see the harmonic pattern and etc. Also panic selling, this is the worsting to do. Buying the coin at the high price and the price just decreasing in the lower time frame and I was afraid and sell my coin.

Indeed, we have done this thing many times but seem like the habitation can be reduced quickly. We know that those thing can we take them as our experience but in the trading field we can't forget it quickly. Our psycology will act as the same thing like before, we know that was wrong but we will do it again. My point is trading need more time, at least you need 3 years that you can take an experience and didn't do the same thing after you make a mistake. After that, you will become an adult trader and can provide passive income.
415  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it just the starting of fueling Bitcoin for riding to moon? on: January 23, 2021, 10:54:55 PM
That is true, bitcoin need a correction to be considered that the movement price is healthy.  There will be many investor who will be afraid when bitcoin price hadn't met a correction, like a few days ago. The bitcoin volume just slowly decreased not as attractive as before, this thing has pointed out that many investor want bitcoin price fall to meet a correction. And now is happening, trying to fall and has reached below $30.000, I guess the correction will be more than that. Take a lool with the weekly candle chart, the candle seem like will form as shooting start candle with indicate the bearish sign is coming.
416  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why do so many people lose their positions due to Bitcoin's decline? on: January 23, 2021, 04:11:45 PM
Seem like you are familiar with whales bot in telegeram right? When bitcoin price fall at least 2% there will be many investor who lose their money, also when bitcoin price up at least 2% there will be many investor who lose their money as well. Honestly, I'm leave the telegram group, I myself felt not comfortable when the notification come continously, it is not good for a trader.

Also, I just thought that such practice is the provocation of every whales. They are willing to waste their money then many people are hooked and when everyone is trapped by the scheme they will enter with a very large capital so as they can cover the losses they spent previously. It was just my stupid thought to convince me that I had to leave the group. Because a trader needs calm, every strategy he makes must be based on analysis, not based on rushed fear and greed.
417  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: My ether wallet with (187$) hacked today on: January 23, 2021, 03:27:12 PM
can i return it ? or what ? i really been sad not for the money but for the Eth blockchain heaviness and its now a shit everyone can hack it

any help is really apprciated
Nope, there is no way to return your fund honestly. Crypto currency is different with bank, if you make a mistake to send your fund then there is a possibility for bank to return your fund, but it is different with crypto currency. One of the way to return your fund is someone who own the wallet itself. Although you contact the etherscan owner they can't be able to return your fund, believe me. Just take an experience by this incident. You have to keep your prikey or every stuff that can access to your wallet.
418  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I need help with my problem HitBtc on: January 23, 2021, 03:15:01 PM
Looking your post history all of them only tell about Hitbtc, but honestly there is no one who can help you (I guess). They only use your experience as a note in order to not use hitbtc because the exchange has a bad reputation.

But, if you came to this forum and ask how the reputation of Hitbtc then they will ask you anything, everyone will have different experience, maybe there will someone who who don't have any problem when using the exchange but I guess there will be many people who don't like hitbtc.

So if you just new to crypto currency or anything beside crypto currency you have to know first the ins and out of it. Don't just tempted by someone else suggestion, you do need to collect as much as information, at least it will make comfortable. But, I'm sorry for your money, hopefully you will take an experience by this incident.
419  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reinvest initial investment, or keep profits? on: January 23, 2021, 02:48:58 PM
Bitcoin is increasing a lot so I am not surprised enough if many people get a profit which in my opinion is very large especially for a beginner like you. I suggest you are a beginner because you still ask the question which reflects your current situation, correct me if I am wrong. Someone who gets used to choosing bitcoin as an investment place they will know what should they do when they've got profit/lose.

And as always, I don't have any really good suggestions for you. I don't dare to take the risk that you will face or even if you get profit I won't get anything from you, right? You should know the characteristic how bitcoin price movement, you can compare or equate the previous bitcoin price movements, especially when bitcoin prices rose drastically. That is the technical part, but you have to countervail with fundamental factors, how the current situation that is driving bitcoin prices skyrocketing, I mean the current fundamental factor can stand for a long time or not.

420  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is better, ether or bitcoin? on: January 22, 2021, 11:45:22 PM
What do people think? Is it better to invest, say, 100 dollars in ether or bitcoin?
The better thing that you should do is buying other altcoin which still have a low price but have a good price movement/potential. You have to find the coin which have a good fundamental, your $100 will be $500 in a week at this situation. Like a few days ago when IOST get pumping.

I bought this coin for $70 at saturday and I hold the coin for one week, do you know how much profit that I got? It is arround $700, although I use a large laverage to do that, but it still worth. I prefer to choose other altcoin beside ETH if I have a little money and also I just choose short term investment.
