403  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][RIC] Riecoin: constellations POW *CPU* HARD FORK successful, world record on: November 21, 2017, 03:34:02 PM
I moved to ublock into their open source xptminer just according to better hashrate. I had 40.000khash in riepool, and around 300.000khash in ublock.
Thats a substantial grow. maybe fake, but jumped from 170 coins each day to 600 each day

lol - well, clearly then you were doing something wrong.

And forget hashrate anyway. There's no good way to measure hash with riecoin.
404  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][RIC] Riecoin: constellations POW *CPU* HARD FORK successful, world record on: November 20, 2017, 08:32:45 PM
I don't know the performance from xptminer to xptminer2. But i tested both, xptminer2 in riepool, and xptminer in ublock. Definitely better profits in ublock. I transfered all my hashrate there.

I can 100% report the same thing - the closedsource xptminer2 on Riepool reports better hashrates than the opensource xptminer on ublock. But I did about 2 weeks on Riepool before growing frustrated that my own miners were solving blocks at a much higher rate than that at which I was getting rewarded. The difference was significant, too - not just a function of the margin of error. On ublock, even though the opensource miner reports much lower hashrates, I'm actually earning a great deal more, and my miners are getting rewarded appropriately for the number of blocks they solve. This leads me to believe that either the closedsource miner's hashrates are being artificially inflated or Riepool is suffering from too many block-withholding attacks.

it looks good start for mining.

Risk-averse miners can walk away with profit now. Risk-taking miners may choose to hodl for the pump that often comes shortly after a coin gets listed for the first time. Although, stocks.exchange is such a small exchange that pump may be less likely.

edit - $3 is extremely improbable as a sustained price target.

Do you have plan for including Tor nodes in the network? thankh you very much for your time, devs.

For a masternode, Tor addresses are already supported in the existing wallet. So far, though, all MN owners have been opting to use clearnet.

they started banning me!

Ah, so you're butt-hurt. That explains it.

Announcement

A newer and (possibly) faster sgminer-phi is available for download - here or here.
Thanks to elbandi and wolf0 for their hard work and effort put into optimizing the kernels.

Later edit: for the password, you'll have to take a look inside the archive(s). Wink
Happy mining!

I tested it, for me it works slower than previous miner, the sittings are the same, maybe i am doing something wrong?

Indeed, the newer sgminer is slower for most everyone who has tried it. It uses Wolf kernels, so there is hope it can be optimized further, but as of right now, it's best to stick with the launch version of phi-enabled sgminer.

moon?

Currently in first quarter from my geolocation.  Grin

Don't know about moon from here, but from a miner's perspective... well, I don't want to give away too much. Let's just say LUX has been... rewarding.

bsod.pw did have a little hiccup this morning with their payouts system at a time when all of the LUX pools were under heavy DDoS, but they were responsive and transparent about the issue, and have committed to manually compensating for any missed payouts, So yeah - I too can vouch for them at this time.

If it's technical specs you're looking for, check the git: https://github.com/216k155/lux

which market and when?  news or anybody know something Huh Huh
It now appears exchange news is imminent. 2 decentralized masternodes have been established. LUX is ready to go!

No exchange news yet. Total non-premined supply still low and no decentralized masternodes yet, so it's actually a good thing that there isn't an exchange yet. News on this front will probably be coming fairly soon, though.
414  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][RIC] Riecoin: constellations POW *CPU* HARD FORK successful, world record on: October 23, 2017, 02:36:13 PM
Still has a DEV? I do think it already dead.

gatra is the dev, he's still around.

No Github pushes so I don't think he is still deving riecoin :/
Latest push was just four months ago on the dga fork.
415  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] LUXCoin — New PHI1612 PoW/PoS Hybrid Algorithm — Parallel Masternodes on: October 22, 2017, 05:27:26 PM
Seriously?... what is happening with payments on  http://pool.luxcoin.tech? I want to help community official pool but if dev doesn't fix payment system I think I will change to  altminer pool... If you say "Payouts are made automatically every 1 hours for all balances above 0.001" then you must do so... this is  a POS coin so, if you delay payments I need more time to achive necessary coin age to stake... I think pool Dev must fix payouts right now

That's what it says on the frontpage of the pool, but that's not accurate. It's actually every 7 hours for balances over 0.01 LUX.

Does anybody know offhand approximately when we'll hit block 840,000?

That's a big purse. How do you ever find your keys?
418  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][RIC] Riecoin: constellations POW *CPU* HARD FORK successful, world record on: October 07, 2017, 03:44:51 AM
Sorry for what is probably a dumb question... with dga's miner for stratum now, what's the best miner to use for solo mining these days?
