HOW MUCH COINS FOR THE LUX-NODES

16120 LUX

Wow, it's too much. Could you give me the link to the official post about the number of coins for setting up LUX-nodes? Thank you.
You should read the first page, there is indeed 16120 coins needed, but I think it is to much too.

Announcement

For everyone having sync issues, a bootstrap file is now available on LUXCoin GitHub.
It helps to start out with an updated chain.

Current bootstrap date is 28 Oct, please check it from time to time, it will be updated regularly.
Additionally, feel free to check out the #wallet-sync-help channel on Discord and stay up-to-date with the project evolution.

Thanks!

I will never send private messages with payment requests for my auctions. I only communicate transparently via the forum (not Telegram, Discord, Skype & others). Please be wary of scammers.

Announcement

A newer and (possibly) faster sgminer-phi is available for download - here or here.
Thanks to elbandi and wolf0 for their hard work and effort put into optimizing the kernels.

Later edit: for the password, you'll have to take a look inside the archive(s). Wink
Happy mining!

I tested it, for me it works slower than previous miner, the sittings are the same, maybe i am doing something wrong?

Hi all,
How many LUXcoins can I get with AMD 470 (6 cards) for one day mining the coin? I am not familiar with mining. Thanks all.

Here you have the our mining calculator. Is an easy tool that allows you to calculate the profitability according your hashrate and power cost. I hope it helps.

Luxcoin Calculator

The blocktime is about 80 sec currently instead of 60 as on your page. Please recheck it.

Indeed, the newer sgminer is slower for most everyone who has tried it. It uses Wolf kernels, so there is hope it can be optimized further, but as of right now, it's best to stick with the launch version of phi-enabled sgminer.

Yeah I'm full on scam notice now. Sucks cause I was looking forward to this but the masternode requirement is insanely high, the premine is massive, mining is hard, this just seems like a way to suck you in and get you hooked then profit off of the interest.

dev? why part of the premine is in cryptopia? lol
They were testing wallet with Cryptopia - as you might be aware there were 2 cases recently involving high transactions volume (large transactions) involving wallet problems with certain coins on  cryptopia - most recent case is Spreadcoin / hellium snapshot in october - 1 spreadcoin was converted to 1 helium and people brought spr to cryptopia - at the time of snapshot the price for spr on bittrex was higher so there were massive withdrawal of spr from cryptopia to bittrex after snapshot took place - resulted in problems with the wallet and people had to wait hours to even more than 24 hours to get all withdrawal processed. 2nd case was signatum wallet issues - as they say it was related to large volume of transactions/ wallet being incapable of multiple transactions processing in rushhour mode

Lux devs was testing cryptopia wallet, nothing from this premine was sold  - for further details please ask devs (there might be an announcement to follow on this).
