May 10, 10 k chips
May 18, 10 k chips
June 20' 20 k chips
Total 40 k

But terrahash said they have secured 2 additional early may orders.  so total chips before may 16 (maybe 18?) is 40 k.

Terrahash has a total of 60 k chips? (40 k before may 16 and 20k June 20)

Just sent out an email. We have secured two additional early-may orders of Avalon ASIC chips. We now have 40,000 chips (all ordered before May 16) which are enough to process all the orders that we received during our pre-order opening. If we get the Avalon chips by the end of this month, we will ship out all the orders by Mid August.

joe, where did you come up with TH order dates for your other thread?  If this is right then all chips should be in by mid-August?  Did I miss something?

Here is where I came up with the order dates, in this very thread back about 6 pages knightlife999 visited TH and took pictures of the invoices.

Here is the link:

http://s1334.photobucket.com/user/knightlife999/library/?sort=3&page=1

I believe you did miss something in that the last order was placed more than a month and a half after the first order so thinking they will all be in Mid August may not be practical.

I could be wrong. And likely TH will not tell us everytime a new chip order shows up
402  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: How to power 16 Klondike K16s? on: July 15, 2013, 08:46:20 AM
One pci-e lead from the power supply typically contains two pci-e connectors. A k64 contains four k16 boards, so one pci-e lead with two splitters can power one k64 board.

I believe what I originally said was correct.

I don't believe it can. A 6 pin PCIE cable has 3 x 12V lines providing 6.25A and a maximum wattage of 75W. A K16 uses 32W so you'd only be able to power 2 K16s from a PCIE cable.

Yes you can only power 2 x k16 with one  6 pin pcie.  But a psu usually have 2 x 6 pin pcie so you can power a k64.

On another note.
How about an 8 pin pcie with 3 splitter to power 1 k64?

for a 4 x k64 arrange in tile as in the PDF.

how many pcie 6 pin connector do I need?

How many Ic2?

Incredible just one line of delay code and everything worked.  Congratulations terrahash.

Eureka moment just in the nick of time as chips are about to ship next week  Smiley
405  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [OPEN] Group Buy #11 ASICMiner Erupter USB (YOU WANTED NEW PRICE?) on: July 11, 2013, 10:01:59 PM
Correct me if I'm wrong but; besides the fun of these as a novelty item/stocking stuffers, I still don't see how USB Erupters have any kind of decent ROI...

Verrrrry expensive though...

Yes added them a few days ago.

They have a 10 chip board similar to burnin but I don't know if they are the same.

Some good news from bkkcoins (Klondike supplier)

He is how using "4 chips hashing 1200 GH/s."  (I'm not sure if 1200 GH/s is correct.  I think it should be 1200 MH?)

I'm certainly going to visit Terrahash's office and see how things are going. I've been planning on doing that since I first signed up on their site in May. I am not going to be building any boards with them, but I will take pictures and report on what I see. I used to be a cop, and I have no personal interest other than verifying that we are going to get our products. I'll reiterate that I'm not worried.

You are more than welcome to visit us. Multiple people have visited our office ever since we started operation.

Sorry about the video, it will be uploaded soon.

Can any of the "multiple people" who have visited terrahash's office post some pictures and comments? This forum would be very happy to hear from you  Smiley

Burnin's board is 20 chips not 10. Chk his thread..

Thanks for the info.  List updated.  Looks like burnin is leading
Thread says he has a 10 and 20 on the OP.

Check here for comparisons

Thanks for the list. Will check it out.

There has been nothing to prove TH has a hashing unit.  Read their thread, and look at pic of the unit.

Corrected. Terrahash has not shown proof.

Terrahash is using the Klondike board as far as I know.

Yes terrahash uses the Klondike design (but they are developing it separately from bkkcoins? Not so sure how this works.)

Maybe the video is going to be posted "tomorrow" as in one business day.  So looking forward to see it on monday. Have a great weekend everyone!
