My plan for 2018 it to trade with altcoins and to invest some of the profit into promising ICOs with good idea and team.
BTC , ETH and ETC I am planning  to hold for long time .

Altoins are bleeding heavier than the market. When the market turns into bullish there is a good chance that they will recover as well, but some shitcoins will never fully recover again.

When the market was growing last year  for 6 months  and everybody was making profit nobody was complaining .
Now , when it  has corrected itself lot of complaints , panic and fud. This is human nature when things go to our favour we accept that as granted.

It is not normal to wait for 6 months especially if it was stated differently. It happens that the ICO is not generating the token , than not listing it on Exchanges for long  time and  pays out the bounty hunters after all the investors were paid.

I think in 3 years from now many existing coins will disappear and some new ones will appear,
Crypto market will be regulated and total market value will be like 100 X  what we have now.

It is dependent of which coins you are holding. It is very risky to hold shitcoins and doing nothing when market is crashing as they can completely lose their value and you can lose your investment. The saying " you are not losing if not selling " is not true  for all coins.

Bounty allocations are usually 1% or max 2% of total supply. I am sure not all hunters dump their tokens, but even if it happens with 1 % they cannot make too much damage and it would be not affecting the project long term.
We are here in Crypto as we believe in decentralised payment solutions and want to get rid of Fiat if possible.

if it is a good project I am not selling  the tokens rather buying more if it happens that the price is lower than ICO price.
Giving time to the team to develop the project, Rome was not built in one day as well.

Yes, I am picky. Buying a house easier than investing . An ICO has to pass all my criterias I set to consider it for an investment.
Doing an inside-out research to decide to go for it or not.  It is about my capital and I am responsible for it.

It is good to invest on dip but never take a loan or invest  money you cannot afford to lose. Even if You have bunch of it invest only part of it . I feel the pressure as well ( desire )   to collect more coins but we have to control our emotions and be on the ground.

In my view it is not a good idea at the moment as BTC has higher possibility to rise with upcoming news.
Ethereum is losing market dominance compared with BTC and also the price of ETH in % compared to BTC has a negative trend for 7 months. Hopefully this trend will change, but as for now BTC gives higher profit.

Imagine that it is January 2017 and your alt. doubled from $9 to $18 during the night and You sell it all.
After a Year in January 2018 you are unhappy as your alt. worth $1.3 k and You do not have any Ethereum.
Never sell all your coins as they can go to the  moon  and you will miss it. (only if You have shitcoins you can sell them all )

We had similar situation last year hype when BTC had parabolic rise and it`s dominance was 67%  then it went down to 33%
Last week the BTC dominance increased like 5% in 5 days. It can easily reach 60% again if there will be approval for ETF in September.

The success of the project depends much on the supporting community behind. A project will not reach it`s true potential if the community is not growing with it. Involvement of the community is also important as they can help with some ideas but also to feel that they are part of the project ( idea ) coming true.

I am not surprised. Switzerland always finds the way how to attract big money  as they are  a safe heaven for money from around the world. As they are already a Crypto friendly country , with new policy and access to bank services they will attract more and more ICOs in the future for sure.

The only case to leave your job if you are an experienced trader and you can earn more by trading than on your regular job.
If You are an investor, or hodler or bounty hunter there is no need to leave your job as you can do Crypto in Your spare time.
It is very risky to rely only on Crypto as in the worst case scenario you  can finish without both : job and investment.

Crypto is a free market with still low volume and high volatility so it is normal that the prices changes.
Also, because of low liquidity the market can be easily manipulated.

Reading the WP is a must if investing in ICO to get clue what the project is about. For Bounty selection it is enough to read the One Pager to save some time.

Think it will be earlier than 2025. We need some big Company to start accepting Crypto as payment. Mastercard already has the licence for allowing BTC transactions on their Credit cards. Mass adoption is closer than we may think.
