there arent really that many coffee shops where i live that accept bitcoin as a method of payment, so i dont really spend it outside the internet.

ahh this makes me lose a little faith in online exchanges, in terms of storing money in them. i dont know if i should keep storing btc in coinbase or move to a paper wallet. coinbase seems like a fairly well known company, i doubt theyd shut down.

Can anyone suggest me some ways to earn 0.5btc in one month online...i know it is not possible with faucets..is there any other way
you could join a signature campaign and earn about half of that in a month, but im guessing that this newbie is your best account. maybe try investing some btc in a better account and use that for signature campaigns.

Paper money will be banned entirely? How long do you think that happens? would it work? What security and privacy risks would it raise? And how would public and privately issued monies interact?
i highly doubt that paper money will be obsolete anytime soon. its just the perfect way of doing transactions quick and efficiently in person. it does have some security risks though, which i imagine would be the possibility of it being obsolete.

the short answer for me would be no. i keep almost 90% of my bitcoins in a cold storage account that i havent really checked on in almost a year. the rest 10% i keep on coinbase which i try to spend frequently. but i rarely spend btc in real life in person, its most digital.

i kinda agree with your point of centralization being devastating for bitcoin, but i do believe that there are plenty of other things that can affect and destroy bitcoin. first thing that comes to mind is the pump and dump that bitcoin do, the volatility it causes makes tons of people leave bitcoin and also makes bitcoin look bad to newcomers.

Hi Legendary Member, Hero Member, Senior Member, Full Member etc. Could pls tell the most secure and also convinent to use btc wallet. thanks
if you are new to bitcoin i suggest coinbase. people say that web wallets dont really have good security. but i think if you have 2fa on you arent gonna get hacked. if youre looking for a phone wallet, check out mycelium.

I don't know why but I always get a feeling to gamble, after then losing my money, I quit for some time and then continue, but I know I will lose my btc Why is it so addictive? im pretty sure that its the scenario where the person wins something big that keeps them coming back to gambling making them addicted.

it kinda depends on the person. there are two types of people in my opinion. one that enjoy the game of gambling so for them it doesnt really matter if its online or in person, the second kind is the people that enjoy the ambiance of a real casino. for them i guess theyd prefer the real casino.

i think of gold as a form of currency storage thats stable and something i can use forlong term investments, whereas bitcoin is more in the near future investment.

I was hanging out with some friends and one of them had a very strange idea: writing on 5€ banknotes the public and private keys of a bitcoin address with something like 0.0005 BTC on and the link to the official bitcoin website to make more people know about the Bitcoin.
In your opinion would it work?
lol i see a major problem with this. say the first person to notice the writing goes on the bitcoin site and signs up. but the tons of people after that who receive the note will attempt to claim the same key, but theyre would be nothing on it.

its a good guide. but imo only the first 2 options are good. you can sell goods &services or join a signature campaign, because i think if you are new to bitcoin mining wont really be a good option for you.

Can anyone tell which wallet is best to use to bet at https://www.directbet.eu ? I heard Coinbase block such acounts and same is case with Xapo ? coinbase is a much better wallet and exchange imo, but they don't allow their users to use their wallet for gambling. so be careful if you are going to be using coinbase.

most of my friends think that bitcoin is just a huge waste of time and money lol. ive tried telling them that bitcoin is just like any other currency but just more volatile than the others. the argument that they make is that bitcoin is used for tons of illegal things and i cant really argue with that.

the thing i like about bitcoin is that i can use it as an anonymous store of value and just forget about it. like i can store 2 bitcoins rn anonymously and come back 2 years from now and hopefully make a profit.

The mining is becoming too expensive and none profitable. I think that will bring Bitcoin to an end. Another problems is that there is only a few miners left controlled by a few making them controlling Bitcoins. It's no longer the currency of the people but a currency of the few rich companies that runs the show.....but for how long can the continue?
i dont think bitcoins going to be ending anytime soon. the currency has too much invested into it for it to just die. if anything it will die slowly, when people start pulling out their funds.

in whati nvest
try investing into stocks if you're into that sort of a thing. but with bitcoin i dont think you can invest into anything other than btc itself.

I came to figure out, why would a consumer/customer use Bitcoins? You have to pay the 3 cent fee, while you dont have to pay anything when paying with a credit card.
So what is really a benefit for using Bitcoins, customer wise?
thats a good point, which is why i don't use bitcoin in person when i can just use a credit. but i do use bitcoin online cuz its just much safer than credit credit, and a lot more anonymous.

There are a lots of ways of earning Bitcoins.
1- Faucets 2- signature Compaigns 3-Trading 4-Gambling 5-Lending
You can search each one of them and see the options which are suitable for you.
I would only suggest ways 2,4,5. i wouldnt recommend going after faucets or trading theyre just not worth the time you put into it.

bitcoin is definitely better for digital transactions imo. its just more secure. ive never heard anything about anyone hacking a bitcoin fund. outside of digital life though, i believe the fiat dollar is better jsut because of the ease of use. when you pay someone with cash its instant confirmation unlike bitcoin. they both have their pros and cons and i dont think they can be compared for same use.
