is anyone having this problem my daemon is always showing: Block recognized as orphaned and rejected, id = <6b6ab3d7a9ad889254d57c0ff521f2b53cf6b516383e8f9a383c56c3f7ee36da>droping connection, i think it doesnt bypass that common msg, you can ignore, someone mined an orphan block and it was reject by the network. but that i understand what i dont understand its why my blockchain stays on block 95825 -> 96622 and seems that its not downloading... blocks to download keep geting up instead of down http://monerochain.info - 96528 is the most recent block. You can confirm that you are current by typing "diff" in the daemon and pressing enter, and you should get this back: 2014-Jun-22 12:34:57.353258 BH: 96528, DIFF: 703155852, HR: 11719264 H/s If you're not updating you may be connected to REALLY weird peers, but Monero will automatically disconnect from bad peers and try find consensus (as with all cryptocurrencies / consensus networks). thanks, its been like this for about 20mts ill just leave it open maebe it solves it with time

which version of client you was using to send that transaction ? If it is older than mandatory update 0.8.8, your transaction is likely stuck and coins will return to your wallet in next days.
i thiink im using the last update but ill download again and wait for them to return...i hope thanks

So I'm trying to transfer some XMR from Bittrex to Poloniex.
I didn't realize that this coin was going to be different than the others - I just want to make sure I'm doing this correctly.
For between exchanges, do I need to worry anything about this Payment ID?
Bittrex just asks me for the usual info: Wallet address & Quantity
you need to put payment id or it wont get to your account like this: transfer 0 base adress amount payment id to transfer to your own wallet i think p.id its not necessary

Does anyone know why do I get following messages in the daemon window?
2014-Jun-16 18:37:30.250365 [P2P8][sock 16] Some problems at write: Broken pipe:32
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=583449.msg6559881#msg6559881Any ideas why the DDOS attacks are so fierce? This little "nobody" of a coin is suddenly catching the attention of the Crypto world and might be a threat to DRK, etc. It is not cheap to constantly do DDOS attacks. Perhaps it is from the same bots that are mining it, but any plans for a P2P miner?
Lastly, the huge volume is intense. 480 BTC traded on Poloniex, interesting... Someone is taking notice.
I bet 1 XMR the people behind most DDOS are the DRK bagholders. I bet its someone from others pools wanting to devert the powerful hash

yeah, looks like http://monero.crypto-pool.fr/ is pool to mine with don't know what's with http://pool.cryptoescrow.eu/, they should find some block, since pool HR went up. crypto-pool.fr finds at least 1 block/hour with smaller HR then cryptoescrow.eu weird, at least or really really really bad luck the only thing that cames to mind its they are keeping the blocks for themselfs with that hash its impossibel not to have a block in 1hour much less 8
