Read this:

and either offer collateral or lock this topic immediately (bottom left link). Otherwise you'll get negative trust
402  Economy / Lending / Re: I need 80 000 dollars (Investing on BTC mining) on: January 11, 2018, 07:04:10 PM
You keep ignoring people asking to offer collateral. So you've got negative trust. This rule doesn't apply to newbies only.

Do post exactly what you're offering as collateral and I'll remove the feedback. As per forum rules it must be easy to sell and worth more than the loan plus interest.

Or update the title of the thread to "Closed" and lock it immediately and I'll change my feedback to neutral.
403  Economy / Auctions / ● Domains: bitcoinclassic.* bitcoincore.* bitcoinunlimited.* btu.* segwit.* ● $1 on: January 11, 2018, 02:14:01 AM
Description:
I'm auctioning several domains. All of them are registered on Namecheap and can be transferred to another NC account for free. All the domains expire in March 2018 or later.

Starting bid for each domain:
US$ 3 for every domain.
Each domain has an independent auction.

Minimum increment:
US$ 0.50. All bids must be multiple of $0.50

Buy it now:
US$ 10 each domain, or $5 more than the current bid for that specific domain (whichever is greater).

US$ 45 for all the domains whose auction hasn't been ended yet at the time of the BIN,
unless the sum of current bids are $45 or more

bitcoinunlimited.host
bitcoinunlimited.loan
bitcoinunlimited.news
bitcoinunlimited.store

btu.gratis
btu.host
btu.press
btu.tools
btu.zone

segwit.press

End date and time:
72 hours after the first bid of a particular domain or 24 hours after the last bid of that domain, whichever is later.
Every domain has its own auction and ends independently.
I may lock the thread (and close all the auctions) at any time as long as no domains have any open bids at that moment.

Newbies:
Users with less than 28 activity can't bid, unless they BIN and pay immediately.

Payment:
Please bid in US dollars. Final prices will be converted to BTC at preev rate at the moment of the payment.
Payment can be in BTC or any other crypto traded on bittrex or poloniex that don't require a cost/minimum deposit (BTC would probably not be a good option for these amounts)

The payment must be sent to me or the escrow less than 48h after the auction is closed,
otherwise I may leave negative trust and may sell it to next higher bidder who must complete the deal according to their bid.

After an auction is closed I'll send a signed message (to be verified here, or here) with the payment address. If you prefer to use escrow instead PM me right away.
404  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammer WorknLearn on: January 08, 2018, 08:28:53 PM

No, it's not a proof. Again, read this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=260073.0

He is tried to scam me his code is deactivated for fraud i dont used it i dont want to waste my steam acc

You both are really bad at providing information. I'm just removing the temp negative feedback.
I may add it again if enough information is posted.

Update: I've received more information from xBoxLive (showing he bought a code to re-sell it to WorknLearn and sent it to him)
and none from WorknLearn so I've re-added the negative.
405  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammer WorknLearn on: January 08, 2018, 03:51:15 AM
Online at 10:02 today NO RESPONSE

I'll give the first person on Default Trust 10% of the attempted trade ($2) a Amazon Gift Code to mark this person as a known scammer.

Trying to bribe a DT member to blindly tag him won't help.

Instead, post more information here. Post a link to the thread (if public), screenshots of the conversation, link to payment, etc.

Read this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=260073.0

Update: I've PMd WorknLearn asking to post here but I haven't received any reply. I've left a negative until he does.

US$1,100 worth available
408  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: selling bitcoins to paypal on: January 02, 2018, 03:50:14 PM
Expect to be tagged soon.

Done. Actually, asking for a loan without any collateral is reason enough for this.
Selling BTC while asking for a loan for "bills" is just an additional red flag.
409  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: blockchain.info exchange from Bitcoin to Bitcoin Cash: 0.0024 exchange fee on: December 21, 2017, 02:14:34 PM
Hi folks,

Don't know if you have noticed, blockchain.info offers now the possibility to trade from your online wallet, between BTC, ETH and BCH.

For convenience purpose, I did not bother to transfer my funds to Coinbase or Kraken, and used my blockchain.info wallet (ShapeShift is apparently the exchange service used).

Is this fee considered high? Exchanged only 0.02 BTC and it seems a bit expensive to be honest...

Opinions welcome.

Is that the total fee? If so, most probably most of it is BTC network fee. Can't you see a detail of every charge?
410  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Selling Bitcoins! on: December 21, 2017, 03:45:43 AM
Just in case it's not obvious for everyone: this site is a scam

How do you know this is a scam?

Who have I scammed?

I'm not trying to scam anyone here.

Ofcourse if I had scammed someone you would have the right to write what you did,

but I think it's wrong to just expect I'm trying to scam someone, because I want to get rid of my extra Bitcoins.

The thing is I want to stop you from scamming anyone. If I do as you suggest then that means you would be able to scam at least one person.

I think OgNasty should have written a full disclosure and should do so in the future. I agree with the reached solution.

The best thing to do now is for both him and owlcatz to remove the feedback left on each other's profile.

Edit - Never mind, since you won't remove the neg, back it goes, too bad you are too thick headed to even deal with.... Idiot... Tongue
I agree the negative OgNasty left on your profile (which represents "this user is a scammer", or at least "this user is shady/untrustworthy", not "I don't agree with him") is undeserved. I even added a counter feedback.

But to be completely fair it seems OgNasty hasn't been online since you removed your negative and re-added it.
So what about you remove it again and give him some time to come back online and realize that happened? When/if he removes it then of course I'll remove my counter too as it is only that.
413  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: bittrex is a scam website - AVOID!- WITH PROOF!! on: December 15, 2017, 11:45:29 PM
My account (3+ years old) was allowed to withdraw several bitcoins per day. Then, without any warnings I was disallowed to withdraw anything at all.
I received a warning only saying that I should be aware of that before making any deposits, so of course I didn't make any additional deposit.
However the coins I already had there beforehand were completely locked.

I've asked for the basic verification and it failed. I made every step for the full verification and I've waited more than 2 weeks but I'm still waiting.

A somewhat semi-professional service would have sent warnings before locking the coins, asking users to either verify or withdraw before the timeline. Also, considering how important verifying is under these conditions, any site earning so much should invest on some more people if too small staff is really the issue.

Anyway, now I just hope they're just really, really, really unprofessional and not a scam. In any case I'd recommend anyone to stay away from them.

Edit: After about 3 months, my account was finally verified. They are just extremely unprofessional.

417  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [WTS] 0.2 BTC for PayPal USD on: November 29, 2017, 07:26:49 PM
Are you going all in at once or would deal with smaller amounts with different people. Because 0.2 is a lot of amount for a Paypal transaction.

I've got $100 Paypal on me right now. If you want I can send that. let me know.

Yes. I can sell $100 to you. I PM'd you with a signed message. If you agree make the payment and let me know your address.

Update: Received and sent. Thanks

~ 0.19 BTC remaining

419  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Changelly.com - instant exchange. VISA/Mastercard accepted. on: November 23, 2017, 02:04:57 PM
Hi,

Yesterday (about 20h ago) I exchanged 3.2179 BTC to DOGE at about 17.7 satoshis per DOGE, which was only a little more than the average rate on most exchanges. This was done through Coinomi.

This exchange is still pending after almost one full day. It shows "Waiting for exchange". The Bitcoin TX where I made the payment is 0bef801b32e878da2778cf31e306fbda0f9a216f3e7ce7cbf5f5dcb2fcc1d59c.

Please check this and complete the transfer of about 18.1 million DOGE. Of course refunding the BTC wouldn't be acceptable because now the price of DOGE is considerably higher, as I'm sure you wouldn't consider refunding an option if the current DOGE price were much lower than when I made the exchange.

Update: After waiting almost one full week I received most of my BTC back, not 100%.

So this is how Changelly worked, at least this time, I guess this is standard for them:
  • They took my 3.2179 BTC offering 18.1 million DOGE in exchange
  • The DOGE price went up, from 17 to 27 satoshis. My 18.1 million DOGE went up to 4.887 BTC. After this waiting week it went down to 21 satoshis, still a big profit
  • After creating tickets, PM'ing here, posting on reddint and being ignored for several days I finally got most of my BTC back
  • I strongly doubt they didn't exchange a single coin. If they did exchange anything then they kept 100% of the profit for themselves, that's thousands of dollars
  • They charged me all the fees, for both ways, even thought they said the exchange failed because of an issue on their side
  • They won't explain what issue that was. This makes me think even more that the exchange was done and the issue was the sudden price increase.

To make it short: if the coin you buy goes down then you'll get the loss, if it goes up then you won't get the profit. On both cases you'll have to pay all the fees.

I strongly recommend not to use Changelly.com.
420  Economy / Lending / Re: Collateral scam? on: July 25, 2017, 05:40:31 PM
It deserves negative trust if there's a clear intention to defraud. If it's obvious the borrower doesn't have intentions to repay the loan to get the collateral back then it definitely deserves negative trust.

However I can think of a scenario where it doesn't:
  • A person needs 0.5 BTC
  • He has a good worth 1 BTC which he could sell if required
  • He posts 2 threads: one trying to sell it for 1 BTC and another one asking for a 0.5-BTC loan, offering his good as collateral
  • Whatever happens first, he closes the other thread
If it's clear the good is worth much more than the loan then he doesn't deserve negative trust. The reason is simple: he does want to get the collateral back even if he's trying to sell it because it's worth considerably more than the loaned amount. Of course the difference between the loaned amount and the good's value must be clear for this to apply.
