Amazing update from the Investa team. They are already starting with card pre-orders and this convenient prepaid debit card & ATM network for crypto holders together with new crypto exchange will be launched only 4 weeks after ICO, which is stunning news and Investa will be one of the very few projects with a working product just after ICO. I hope this will attract new investors, especially from BitcoinTalk forum because this thread has not much attention here. I think a lot of people are missing a big opportunity here. Everybody is afraid of a scam now because most of latest ICO's scammed or not delivered their promises. If there is no established team or huge investors in pre and private sale then there is no interest in such projects. But I'm sure that few of such a low ball ICO will be very successful and my choice is Investa.

WWzsocki you know I'm your follower on Twitter and I saw you are advertising this ICO on your wall. I look to all your ICO's closely because few of them made me a lot of returns last year. But with Investa I'm not convinced fully. There is almost no discussion in this thread and I don't see anybody advertising it, only you. Bounty is already ended, before ICO?

Bounty manager,

Can you please confirm the start and end date of the signature campaign?

What is the personal text we should use?
403  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PRE-ICO]HoweyCoins: the only BitcoinTalk-endorsed ICO - GUARANTEED PROFIT on: May 24, 2018, 04:17:02 PM
I wonder how many people would have invested money for real on this  Grin
This is really scary that indeed many members will invest in everything blindly if an established and reputable member from BTT will vouch for. We have seen so many scams in the past and lately. No wonder that people trust members with a great reputation and follow them in investments. Anyways, everybody should always do own research and made the final decision taking all facts and red flags into consideration.

This is great that SEC tries to educate people and that Theymos pointed this out in such a way. We can see now how easy it is to manipulate hundreds of people using the credibility of an established BTT account together with fake ICO. After this experiment, I see only red flags in all ICO's I research lately.

Thanks, Theymos.
404  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Phantasma (SOUL) - OVERVIEW - Decentralized Gmail of The Blockchain! on: May 24, 2018, 04:01:01 PM
@crypto mania

I don't think there is any bounty campaign run by Phantasma, also no bitcointalk ANN that I know of. Recently there are many good projects not preset here at all, which is a shame because this forum was always the best place to find such gems before large audience find out about them.

Right now crowdsale is postponed because they had a problem with SOUL tokens contract.

Can you tell me more about this problem with SOUL tokens, please? Maybe provide a link to post or summary of this problem. I just wonder why such big projects don't start their campaigns here on BTT. First and biggest crypto community in the world. All famous projects started from the introduction on Bitcointalk. I know that there is a lot of o FUD and spam but still, BTT is a very important tool when I'm doing my ICO and projects research.
405  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Phantasma (SOUL) - OVERVIEW - Decentralized Gmail of The Blockchain! on: May 22, 2018, 11:46:42 PM
Is on Bitcointalk an official ANN thread for Phantasma? If not, then I think this is strange not to inform the biggest crypto community about this ICO. But this would be not the first time lately that big projects choose not to start their campaigns here only in specialized bounty services. I have found Phantasma one day after they close registrations to the whitelist. That was the first time that after few minutes of researching I was convinced to invest. I'll try to buy when hit exchange or even sooner in private just after first distribution. There is always somebody who wants to sell.
406  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TFC The Freedom Coin Fastest Altcoin Pre-Sale is LIVE !!! on: May 22, 2018, 09:32:18 PM
I don't understand why KYC to buy a privacy coin? Can somebody please explain why is this needed. What is this finally is this a "regulated" ICO? I don't think so. I can't find information about your company, address, etc. This looks like I'm buying from you which is TFC and in terms and conditions I found this:

 "NO LIABILITY FOR LOSS
TFC will not be responsible for any damages, claims, or losses arising from the use of TFC, including the actions or inactions or events related to third parties, security problems during the use of any TFC-related software or service, technical failures during the use of any TFC-related software or service, software or data corruption problems during the use of any TFC-related software or service, or user errors during the use of any TFC-related software or service."

Looks like you will collect the money and not be responsible for damages, claims, loses... during the use TFC soft or service. Explanation will be appreciated.

If anybody still isn't sure if this is true. I can say that this is a no-brainer for me and you are missing your own Lambo here. Finally ICO for almost everybody. No research needed, you can blindly invest all your money with a credit card. Profit guaranteed because HoweyCoin team will do regular pump and dups to push the price sky high as I read in the white paper. Missed so many trains, waited so long and finally here is Bitcointalk Exclusive ICO!!!

Wow, I don't know Lambo or ...
408  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: Green Power Exchange - The Blockchain based Energy Trading Platform on: May 19, 2018, 02:19:16 PM
I don't understand how this energy will be sent? I can buy energy using tokens on an exchange and if I want to use this energy in my home how would this be possible? If somebody could explain this matter would be great.

I understand you made a mistake and wanted to write: "Now I have..."?

There is no straight answer to your question because we don't have all info needed. Which wallet version are you using? This same wallet on both computers, same dat.file? When installed after chain split? Used blockchain file for faster sync? Do you know about the latest update after kind of chain split problem? Etc.

Still, if I know all answers there is a big chance that I'll be not able to help you. But here are smarter guys than me and maybe with this all details, they will be able to help you. I have seen errors in different crypto wallets and some of them never get resolved.

412  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: «Envion» Highest ROI crypto infrastructure | $2M Bounty available! on: May 16, 2018, 11:53:02 PM
Blog update from Envion

Source: https://medium.com/@envion/envion-investor-update-may-4th-2018-9884f732025f

5 million EVN tokens should be burned in the coming days as soon as executive approval is granted. As previously announced, extra tokens were generated as a buffer which were not needed. This first burn represents the quantity of tokens which we know with absolute certainty will not be attributed to any investors.

The community team continues to help as many investors as possible to pass KYC and distribute tokens to eligible investors. So far, less than 5% of ICO funds remain assigned to investors who have yet to finish some phase of the KYC process. Please send in your accreditation, do your video identification, or upload your ID documents if you are still holding out.

The refund process has been initiated and users who we have identified as ineligible will have funds returned to them. This process is likely to take a few weeks. After the refund process is completed, there will be an additional burn of tokens.

The token distribution process — including bounty tokens — will not be closed and finalized until all refunds, burns, etc. are complete.

After the explanations given by Envion team, I think everything is normal. Before you can determine exactly the raised amount, you can not determine how much percentage represents the rewards that need to share for the bounty supporters. Good luck at all involves here!

I wouldn't be that happy. Check out their recent update, it could be another big scam. The way they handle the ICO was suspicious as well, they were banning everyone who is just raising any questions and now it turns that Founders sue Envion CEO Matthias Woestmann’s Corp. for world’s first analogue ICO hacking! Enjoy the read

If this is true, as we seen before at Tezos, the battle will take years and investors and bounty participants will suffer.
Here is a link to latest founders statement on Vimeo:

And here a video with CEO explaining his side of things.

http://envion-recovery.org/

Who is the bad guy? I haven't found in white paper additional 20 million tokens and I tried very hard. Something smells bad. So they started lawsuits against each other.

413  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] «Envion» Most Profitable Self-Expanding Crypto Infrastructure on: May 16, 2018, 11:38:20 PM
It seems too bad things happened to Envion. But we need detailed update. Many things are still unclear.
"Woestmann filed a criminal complaint in Berlin and informed the Swiss financial supervisory authority FINMA."
Can anyone from small investors confirm this siituation from Berlin in Germany or in Swiss and put here notice?

There is a lot of shit flying around Envion project and now this shitstorm is even bigger. Here you are, watch this video. Founders explain the situation with the lawsuit against them. I had a little hope that finally, Envion wakes up but after watching this video I lost it. This is only beginning and we all will be witnesses of 100 million dollar scam, I think. If lawsuits start to fly around there will be nothing good in the end from this.

UPDATE

I keep researching and found this site were CEO explains his side of things and as always when you hear his explanation founders are guilty. When you watched founders video on Vimeo you thought that CEO stole tokens. They even call it "First analogue hacking". But truly said there is nothing in the white paper about additional 20 million tokens. I heard about this first time  2 months ago when the announcement shoes up

What do you think guys? Who is the bad guy here?

I can't access your page, still keep getting an error. Is this service still online? I see OP hasn't updated this thread for more than a month. I tried with different browsers and with cookies deleted still error 404. When I check on downrightnow.com status is down so I guess not reachable for everybody, not just me.

416  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Pylon Network - Decentralized energy exchange platform on: May 16, 2018, 05:39:30 PM
I read this thread from beginning to end and I didn't find a summary of your ICO. Where to look for detailed ICO information?
This is an interesting project with a strong team and great roadmap. That is why I'm doing a research. Price is low and I think is the best time to invest before market wakes up again and start a bull run.
417  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Cryptopia(exchange) holding Bytebal deposits. Take caution while depositing. on: May 16, 2018, 08:08:18 AM
This is not the first time that something like this happens on Cryptopia. I try to avoid this exchange but some of the coins are listed or have decent volume only there.

There are few easy steps when dealing with this scammy exchange to stay safe:
- Always double check everything, especially coin info page.
- Never deposit your entire stack in one transaction.
- Send first small amount and check if everything works (transfer, trading, withdrawal).
- If everything works still continue with small amounts and withdraw each time before next deposit.
- Never leave your coins on Cryptopia.
- Never use Cryptopia addresses for bounty or airdrop payments.
- Check Cryptopia social media, especially Twitter before trading (read new complaints which coin to avoid).

This list is growing every time I have a new problem with Cryptopia. Already experienced all kinds of issues but luckily I was always able to withdraw. Sometimes with a big loss after few months from the deposit. Support works slow and they need almost 2 months to answer your ticket with an automated message.

Never use Cryptopia if you don't have to trade there. If we all stop using this exchange they will finally do something. This will be an exit scam  Grin or they evolve and become a trusted exchange. With these volumes, Cryptopia makes a lot of money on fees and listings. Why scam people if you have a profitable business?
418  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Help to report scam extensions on Cromestore that steal your wallets on: May 16, 2018, 07:39:13 AM
The only chrome extension that is worth installing (regarding crypto trading) is metamask. All others need to be done with extra care, and only install if really needed. I run ad blocker, hopefully they won't get hacked and turn into a malware miner

This is a valid concern with ad blockers and that they can be a target for hackers to inject a malware or switch into resources hungry miner. If you plan on using an ad blocker, it's well worth doing a bit of background research on browser extensions before installing them to be sure they have known authors and are recommended by reputable sources.

AdBlockers are the most downloaded and used add-ons on google. There is a big incentive to hack established and well-known adblocker or even to develop a new one with viruses. Until today there were already few malicious adblockers on Google downloaded more as 20 million times. This is an army of bots.

Five most known malicious adblocker add-ons  already removed by Google:
- AdRemover for Google Chrome™ (10 million+ users)
- uBlock Plus (8 million+ users)
- [Fake] Adblock Pro (2 million+ users)
- HD for YouTube™ (400,000+ users)
- Webutation (30,000+ users)

419  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Hitbtc.com is a scamsite- beware on: May 14, 2018, 09:37:09 AM
yes I think the market is bad, I've traded there several times and suddenly my balance runs out, not much just about 94 $ but that's a bit disappointing.
I advise you to be more careful in choosing the market for trading

From what I understand you made few bad trades and your balance runs out. This is possible and there is nothing scammy. If you bought something with a high price and sold it for much lower then your balance can disappear after few trades like this. There is nothing they can do. If your money were gone without trading then there will be something bad going on. But like this, that was just a bad trading and that's all.
420  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Hitbtc.com is a scamsite- beware on: May 11, 2018, 08:29:28 AM
snip
just tell me how to fix the problem.

I read this thread and I don' understand if you OP finally were helped by them and something goes wrong or they just stopped to answer on this topic? I have seen the message posted a few weeks ago from HitBtc that you should be able to withdraw your money on the next day together with few other members complaining here at this time. Nothing finally happened? Please explain.
