What do you like best about bitcoin?
Decentralization, transparency or easier to move?
Or just it makes you look cool? Wink

402  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why bitcoin so expensive? on: November 17, 2017, 12:44:12 AM
Bitcoin is so expensive if it will be converted to my country's currency it will cost hundred of thousands.
Why bitcoin worth that much even its only a cryptocurrency can someone give me an idea.
there is no expensive word for my person because something that can generate bigger profits to buy certainly it is not expensive to buy it if I think I think if you say expensive it would be you are afraid to invest
403  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Difference between Bitcoin and real money? on: November 15, 2017, 12:22:34 AM
I've discovered Bitcoin few days ago, but I am skeptical about few things, why would I invest money in Bitcoins at the end of the day,why would I convert money into Bitcoins?

If I want to buy stocks or invest money I can easily invest with real $. Why would I convert my $ to bitcoins?
If I want to gamble , I can simply gamble on websites that require $ as currency, why would I convert it to bitcoins?
What's the difference between Bitcoins and dolars? What does bitcoin bring to the table that real $ don't, less taxes, more income?

if I think bitcoin is an investment asset with digital currency and its value is much higher than conventional currency in my country so to invest is very profitable for me and in my country still free from income tax
404  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin will survive after 100 year ? on: November 15, 2017, 12:14:29 AM
I am asking this just to see the different opinions of Bitcoin community about its long term potential

I know Bitcoin is actually strong enough and stable as well

But what do you think about it after 100 years ?
maybe I think the next 100 years is a far-reaching figure to think ahead of me in my opinion as long as the value or bitcoin price gets stronger and the value is even higher for me will do anything with as much as possible invest with bitcoin
405  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Does Bitcoin work for online shopping? on: November 14, 2017, 01:42:32 PM
When you buy something on eBay or Amazon, you pay the seller, he ships the product and upload a tracking number.
If you haven't received the item, you can call eBay or Amazon and, basically, what happens is that if they have a tracking number that shows that the item has been delivered, then it is ok, otherwise eBay or Amazon reverses the transaction and you get your money back.
Is that possible with bitcoin? What if I buy a boat online for 2 bitcoins and I never receive it? Is bitcoin able to solve this problem?

Thanks
your question is very good we see first in that country if the country has formalize bitcoin as currency applicable in the country I think it can happen payment system with bitcoin but for now country in my country not yet to do that because the government has not formalize bitcoin as the official currency as a valid payment instrument
406  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are so many people against bitcoin? on: November 14, 2017, 01:34:15 PM
I'm trying to understand why are so many people against bitcoin?  is it the innovation that scares them? the feeling of staying behind? the fact that that money will go to the wrong hands?

I think a lot of people are using bitcoin because the currency is hard to forge free of income tax and its value is very high compared to currency in my country, for bitcoin problem falling into the hands of irresponsible person I think it may happen because bitcoin in my country have not have power law
407  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to explain bitcoin to teenagers or children on: November 13, 2017, 11:26:45 PM
Bitcoin is difficult to explain. I also felt difficulties in understanding bitcoin for the firs time. Let's share how to explain bitcoin to children of teenagers. In My country I can say 98% children don't know bitcoin. In fact, bitcoin can be future money. If the children not familiar with cryptocurrency or bitcoin, how can they face the digital era in the future.
it is quite difficult to introduce bitcoin among children and adolescents because of social and social factors but I have a fear also to introduce bitcoin in adolescents because of the result of bitcoin is quite a lot and the result to do bad and bad
408  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What should I invest into? on: November 13, 2017, 01:00:57 AM
I’m interested in investing $2500 should I just put it straight into btc or mining hardware?
your opinion to invest is right and good, to become a miner you must be ready in terms of capital because not with little capital to become a miner there must be facilities that must support it
409  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is not supported in some countries? on: November 13, 2017, 12:56:33 AM
I have heard that bitcoin is not supported in some countries. But why ? Is it because bitcoin is risky ? Some countries even declare 6 months jail if her people use bitcoin. Is it fair ? I mined few cryptos and have left mining. It was fun and challenging too. But I never got any clear answer. What does my gpu actually do ? I pay electric bill, my room temperature goes high and I get paid. With actually no skill on pc hardware and software. Whole thing is still pretty unclear to me
maybe many bitcoin users are doing for fundraising for non-crime or it may cause big inflation to happen in the country, in my country because bitcoin has not been so accessible so maybe the government has not fully know it
410  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: bikin usaha dengan bitcoin on: November 11, 2017, 11:41:36 PM
411  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Government. on: November 11, 2017, 11:31:31 PM
Is it good combination about bitcoin and our current government? lets talk about this things if these two option was combined in the future, Our government used bitcoin and spread to every people in there countries. For me it is good. why?

Because:
1. Is good for all businessman for good transactions. Buy something and sell something.
2. Is good for payments needs to pay like billings every month.
3. For less time and moved for travelling on anywhere we want.
4. Its easy to transfer money from other country with less taxes. this favor is aprove for ofw's
5. Easy to transfer money if they needed immediately like emergencies. pay for medicine.

Theres a lot of good reason.

it is true your statement about bitcoin and its usefulness but for the state and government in my country can not happen because the official currency of my country still have a big effect on the economic system that happened in my country even to make bitcoin as currency which require the supporting facilities and infrastructure
412  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin undergoing a correction? on: November 11, 2017, 12:58:27 AM
Its down over $500 from yesterday and seems like its going to go down more. I hope not.
if the bitcoin value goes down I think it's natural but I'm sure bitcoin will continue to rise its value in the future I believe with it I will still save and access bitcoin because I have to this day still get profit
413  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest regret about bitcoin on: November 11, 2017, 12:51:11 AM
My biggest regret is when I got introduced to this back in 2012, I tried to buy £200 worth, the platform was down and I never bothered, just recently woke up to it again at over £4k per coin, it is a physiological thing where I don't want to buy at that price.
for the loss I think I have not experienced it just patience and careful analysis and remain consistent to always access the bitcoin is probably the key because bitcoin prices in my opinion will still rise
414  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you store your bitcoins? on: November 09, 2017, 04:30:13 PM
Hello everyone as the title says ^
Do you store your bitcoins online or on a wallet on your computer, perhaps cold storage?
if my opinion while we already get the advantage we exchange with official currency and we invest in the field of business profitable and secure security
415  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you a True Believer? on: November 09, 2017, 04:21:14 PM
I see alot of people are holding Bitcoins and are convinced that their coins would multiply in value. The same people preach the Bitcoin ideology that its P2P,  decentralised, low to nil send or receive etc.

However, only a small group of people today are using Bitcoins as they were intended. And the fees are not exactly cheap to buy Bitcoins, not to mention those exchange places are basically like banks.

So my question is, are you a True believer of Bitcoins and other Cryptocurrencies that it will one day replace paper money, decentralised and all. Or are you only a believer that the price will continue to climb and you'll one day be a millionaire?

I simply find it fascinating that its apparent, people are preaching the benefits of Bitcoins but they are not using them. Preaching to newbies and drive up the demand and prices of the coins.
Rather, I would love to see people who really believe in Bitcoins, actually going out there and using the coins to purchase products, send/receive coins and let the coins circulate around. I would love to see that day. When the prices are not so volatile, and the coins are being used as they were intended. However, not being volatile also means the prices would rise sharply like it has been this year, which also means you wont be a millionaire holding onto them coins.

So are you a True Believer?for now believe that bitcoin can indeed make me better in terms of my economy, but for questions that bitcoin can replace the official money as currency I still feel hesitant and can not answer for sure because my country has not been so popular about bitcoin

416  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it good time to buy. on: November 09, 2017, 04:09:59 PM
Hi experts

is it good time to buy BTC..?
is there any fork or segwit..after November 15...

if I think if you already have the capital and are ready to invest in bitcoin why should doubt the price of always rising bitcoin when viewed from the graph per year
417  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it too late to buy bitcoin? on: November 08, 2017, 04:17:57 PM
Even the blind can see that crypto Currency is making people millionaires all  over the world just because they present the holders of such currency with the financial freedom and opportunity to accrue large amounts of wealth base on currency investment . But my question is that, is it late to buy bitcoin? Should i wait maybe bitcoin price will decline after 1st August meeting? Please i will welcome your advice so that I can make my decision on crypto currency investment.
there is no word late in my life principle as long as there is still a chance to earn profits and invest in bitcoin why do not we do us do not be afraid to try if you feel afraid and too late to buy and invest I think you will lose before buying
418  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Saving Bitcoins for your Children. on: November 08, 2017, 04:09:40 PM
Like every other investment such as real estate, stocks and other forms of investment we know that you can invest in that kind of things and then you get something like say a Certificate or a Binding Document as a proof that you are part of that investment, now that of bitcoin all you have is just your address, your password, key and seeds as proof of the ownership of the wallet.

BTC

So now if one is considering buying bitcoins and saving for his/her children in the future is there any way to do that with bitcoins apart from having to write down your details somewhere. I'm asking because with that kind of stuff if no one knows your seeds or password no one can get the coins. Huh Huh Huh
it's definitely save bitcoin for my child's future I keep some in bitcoin of course password and everything related to bitcoin I save in a very safe place some of it I exchange with savings in the form of official money in my country or I deposit money that is if in my opinion
419  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can we explain that the bitcoins is not a scam on: November 06, 2017, 05:04:57 PM
Only yesterday's television shows here in our country could be a bad thing when you get involved with bitcoins. I'm so frustrated that the tv host has shown that bitcoins are a scam. Because of the fact that he has made many people will definitely not try to enter the bitcoins yet. And because that would be like an investment scheme that looks at bitcoins. That's not really true because bitcoins used to do bad things. And what I was most disappointed was that this tv host did not say the good side of bitcoins.

Now my question is how we can explain to those who watch tv that bitcoins is not a pyramiding scheme.
it is also difficult to explain because it is spread over the television but if they see the real evidence what we get from bitcoin what they still believe the news is on television for me the real evidence what we get is able to convince them
420  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is this for real? I could be a millionaire? on: November 06, 2017, 04:18:24 PM
Please forgive my cynicism.
I was offered bitcoins in I think 2010 when they were 50p each.
I was tempted to buy £200 worth but had been just lost £200 to a ponzi money scheme so decided against it!

I have seem recent reports saying they are now worth £2,500

Are these the same Bitcoins?
So would I be able to actually sell for cash or money in the bank?

Sorry to ask, but I see lots of people saying they are millionaires but don't think I have seen anyone with the actual money banked.

I mean, my 400 bitcoins would now be worth £1,000,000 and I could actually sell them for £1Million less commissions?

You gotta see I'm sceptical.
Please tell me I haven't made the biggest mistake of my life?
a very large number that you are smart to take the initial step in investing in bitcoin for the next step it's up to you want to save or you sell
