CPU USAGE 100% no shares accepted, maybe 4 cards is the max. ETA for fix?

i own 15 of those cards. that means ill be making 100XPM per day which is 0.18BTC

1.4 chains/day is an estimation for a decent CPU and a 1-/2-card setup. For a rig of 4 cards you should expect 1.1-1.25 depending on your CPUs. The difficulty rises pretty fast now, so 1.4 chains/day is now ~ 6.2XPM per day (just changed the value in OP). We're going to have some speed improvements though. in my rigs i have 5x280 with a pentium haswell on H81 PRO BTC. right now it seems the cpu won't be enough?
I would expect ~1.1 cpd / per card on this setup. can you explain what a chain means? is there a chance i won't find a chain (i think its like a block) each day? improvements for cpu usage coming? |

youre --thread-concurrency is wrong.
set it to atleast 24550 or 32765. do stock clocks, and intensity to 19 and youre good to go. 4gb ram should be enough

You need Windows 8.1 no question about it. windows 7 is making problems with multi gpus with that number. Windows 8.1 recognizes them with no problems. check this video, hes having the same problem https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WfqfEpanpigand by the way you will need to find a way to undervolt those cards dramaticly. i had exactly those cards with the same psu. 2x290 with cx750 and i had a lot of crashes, needed to replace the psu eventualy. good luck |

Hello everyone.
Really need some strong minds here for discussion. i'm planning on investing 15,000$ in mining next week, and i really need some advice.
right now i have mining rigs that brings 3.5MH/s.
1st Feb it gave me 0.03BTC a day which was satisfaying.
1st March it gave me 0.018BTC a day. a bit more than half.
i really want to understand, does the difficulty has everything to do with it? is this why new cryptocoins are being created? will the difficulty grow like this every month?
is there anypoint or potential in my invesment? because yesterday i was sure i'm going for it and now i'm not.
i want to know if i can at least return my invesment, this is so confusing.
Would you invest 15,000$ in Mining in 2014?

1750w is way overkill. I run 5x undervolted Sapphire Dual-X 280x on a single Seasonic 1250w.
I run 2x Dual-X and 1xToxic on a Corsair 850w. At stock voltage. So i also belive 1750w is overkill. But if that`s the two PSU`s he got, he will do fine.  Its So Wierd that your Corsair 850w Deals with them! i have a corsair cx750 which can't handle 2x290 even at -10 powertune. had to exchange one in 280x. i heard that any gpu with the board ill use H81 PRO BTC consumes 50W+ from the psu that connects to the board even if another psu powers the 6+2PIN. guess ill undervolt all of them? |
