nice news with http://www.dragonflypay.com/ congrats! i have a question redarding the improved node reward program how it will be funded? i mean if there is no new XEM generated in network and nodes already now get 100% of the fees how u wana reward a node more? Comes out of the funds and is therefore limited in time. It's merely a way to bootstrap the network. Once the ecosystem get's going there should be enough tx on the network for the fees to be enough to sustain it. It think the plan was to run the reward program for like 2 or 3 years ? Not sure anymore. |

im getting error 500, my delegated harvesting is on, have over 200k of xem in my walet and 5 transaction within last 24hr, but i dont get any thing from harvesting. is thst not enough coins? or transactions? walet says " Importance of account to the NEM cloud 0.83% "
Error 500 is the timeout if I'm not mistaking... Do you have this all the time or just ocasionally? Regarding harversting: You need at least 10000 XEM vested to start harvesting and you can expect it to take a while until you have a higher vested amount depending on how long your balance is in the account. (details can be found in the whitepaper, see the links in the OP) Your vested balance can be found in NCC below your normal balance. For example : I have a vested balance of 2,8M XEM and a POI of 3.44 ‱ and harvested 4 blocks today, so maybe you may see days where you harvest a block or two, but maybe some days you won't harvest any... thanks, how much an avrage u get for a block? From launch I harvested 977 blocks getting 13208 XEM so it is about 13.5 xem a block, not much if u do 3-4 blocks a day In the beginning when people where transacting heavily there were some really juicy blocks with like 900 XEM. All depends on usage and a little luck. |

Starting the faucet was the right decision in my opinion. Btw, what is the total budget of the faucet? faucet.nem.io
but that faucet has no ads, so is not self suporting, and u can use it twice a day, that dosent make a lot of network traffic The point of the faucet is to let people test NEM that don't want to buy into it before having tested it. It's not there to create traffic. |

I don't believe this is true for a lot if not all of POS implementations. You can move your coins at will even if you are forging (or whatever it is called in your favorite coin ) Of course this may not be true for POS-Pools where multiple people throw their funds together allthough there are systems that even cover that use case. |

I never even think that this thing exist, this is a brilliant idea!!! This idea naturally follows from blockchain if you do few simple steps: 1. Get rid of the coinbase transaction 2. Allow only one transaction per block 3. Allow to reference several previous blocks at the arbitrary height As all obvious things this didn't attract much attention, of course. is this tech similar to what Fuserleer is doing with emunie? afaik emunie uses balances now without any blocks I think emunie uses a trust score now and I also think balance doesn't influence that score but I could be wrong on that. |

Furthermore, do you think it has negative effects in some kind of way preparing a plan b (means: develop, testing, put a team together, transparency, and so on like NXT, NEM, Digibyte, many other coins ) in the meanwhile? And only something new can leave the coin afloat , that's why it's important for me banking integration. Totally with you on that. BUT You won't get this coin to the top even with a bank backing it if you don't manage to overcome the language barrier. This really isn't meant as an insult but public relations can't continue to go like this. Secondly there is still no detailed whitepaper on how instant tx is achieved. I asked about it 3 times and got 3 different answers. Answers I got: 1. fully connected network (which frankly I think won't work but let's leave that out of the way for now) 2. usage of a neural network (that's what that pr guy was saying when he was around for like 3 weeks, maybe it was just buzz talk) 3. none of the above and a detailed explanation is coming soon. It was indeed a really big pump and dump action. I didn't think that this would be possible for a (actually) well-distributed coin like NEM :/
It would be nice to see how the richlist has changed when the pump and dump is over. Is it spreading XEM or is someone accumulating them? just pump and dump NXT clone No. Not really the distribution was good, far better than almost all other coins. Also my understanding of the code base and parameters are far different to NXT. He was referring to something else. Don't take it to mean NEM as it is not NEM for sure. Probably in a wrong forum. By the way, we have just completed the programmers' guide. It should give a good elaboration on how NEM can be used. We are now trying to assemble the document and put it on the web. Some, 30 pages of it all.

This is very interesting.
I'm wondering though how this could ever be rolled out as it literally needs the network to be active (or not ?). If I wanna transact I need someone else to transact as well and confirm my tx with his tx. I guess I could also send some more tx myself but that's not really going to fly.

is there a max amount of NEM in a harvesting address that make sence and above that its better to run a second harvesting node?
or does it scale linear no matter if split or keep in one account on average u will PoI same ammount of blocks?
Afaik there is no cap to the amount of XEM in one account that will increase that account's importance (allthough such a cap has been suggested). |

I know you want to be very secretive about this and you prob have good reasons but at some point you're gonna have to tell people what's going on in order for them to trust your project.

This would be 100 billion Satoshi or 1000 Bitcoins or around 240k $. I doubt you have this much of money to risk it on a coin what have not reached version 1 yer  I see XEM as maybe the project with the best prospects when it comes to altcoins, it will never hit 1 satoshi, that's insane, then you could buy 100 million xem for 1 bitcoin, never going to happen. It would be nice to fall back to 10 satoshi though, I'd buy a lot of em... here so it also occurs. there where 10 sats will be and 1 sat there. why so? because for a large number coins also big daily volume is necessary. if there is no big daily buy volume that price from 10 sats will fall to 1 sat. if you go to 10 sats that you go to 1 sat with such low daily buy volume  There is only 9 billion XEM, if it hits 10 satoshi I will personally buy 1 billion XEM Big investors have invested at least that much in BTC and that hasn't reached v1 either. 0.11.0 seems to be the current version. I agree though...just sayin... |

Then why were you posting here that nem will have 300 million market cap at launch just a week before the launch? He did it so NEM trolls wont die from starving. In other words, no one should believe whatever he is posting about future of nem. He has either no clue, or he is being super optimistic, or he is trolling, according to you.
