401  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stablecoin price becomes unstable due to Bitcoin’s price fluctuations? on: March 19, 2020, 12:46:01 PM
The instability of stablecoin is usually negligible except in an extreme case, ordinarily it shouldn't go below $1, there are times it has dumped to $0.98-$0.99. They are usually backed by asset and have an algorithm to maintain the price. However one should avoid risky stable coins that  prices to moon and stay stable during a bad market situation. For safety, I usually will use USDT, and recently BUSD, and I don't stay long on them.
402  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It´s not about IF but WHEN - don't panic on: March 19, 2020, 12:17:20 PM
People usually lament during times like this and quickly forget how profitable the market has been to their favor. It's part of human nature to complain when their target is not achieved. Bitcoin has fallen many times and quickly rise back. Just see how volatile the bitcoin market has been, such way much more is made by day traders, while they daily smile, another person laments.
403  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Theft on: March 19, 2020, 12:13:37 PM
Funny, such cases still abound till date. I don't know why people won't email support for delicate inquiry rather than going on a social media to expose themselves. One can't even submit sensitive information to binance online customer representatives on the chat session. People need to treat online personal as a potential risk and follow due process in trying to resolve issues.
404  Economy / Economics / Re: Oil price War will Bring real War soon in Middle east on: March 18, 2020, 04:50:55 AM
There will be no war, no one wants to go to war. Going to war in the middle of this current economic crisis will only leave more hunger and starvation besides, Iran won't be interested in any war because of having too many enemies in the gulf nations and around the world. OPEC nations that didn't save like Nigeria will go into economic recession.
405  Economy / Economics / Re: Btc going to 2k or 3k or 7k or 9k on: March 18, 2020, 04:42:27 AM
I can tell you this crisis will soon be over and Crypto market will bounce back again, I can't tell how the stock market will fair thereafter because of manipulations and fraud in the stock market by economic makers. I am optimistic about the end to this pandemic and bitcoin recovery. This is just my personal conviction and not the WHO view.
406  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tyler Winklevoss: BTC is not a hedge to pandemics on: March 18, 2020, 04:31:33 AM
I agree with Tyler submission. A pandemic in the world is deadly to human, and when the whole of human race is been threatened by a pandemic which has no immediate solution the fear of death and what happens will cause everything to begin to collapse. Every investment class will be affected both real estate.
407  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 60% Wiped Out - Will Bitcoin Have a Hard Time Finding Investors After This? on: March 18, 2020, 04:25:23 AM
Never knew he predicted the market crash, I greatly admire and respect Andreas. Well this tumor ravaging the world economic is just the Virus, drugs are been tested and this will signal a market reversal. I just hope people who offloaded their crypto asset to fiat don't get caught off guard when things turn for good.  The eye of the world is on bitcoin market you will be surprised the caliber of persons secretly buying and keeping bitcoin for the future.
408  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will coronavirus encourage people to use crypto more thoroughly? on: March 17, 2020, 03:17:03 AM
With the current realities on ground, people may be encouraged to use digital currency but a stable coin will be most likely advised to avoid people encountering losses due to bitcoin and altcoin volatility. Cryptocurrency is easier and faster than all these itune and gift card.
409  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why every IEO on P2PB2B exchange? on: March 17, 2020, 03:10:02 AM
P2PB2B is a shit and a useless exchange who doesn't care about Cryptocurrency adoption but one care about listing scam coins and stealing people fund, and they enjoy listing fees. I don't trade there, and I encourage everyone to stay off the useless exchange, all IEO conducted that I know are dead in price.
410  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russia Banned Crypto Trading on: March 17, 2020, 02:56:10 AM
The officials of Russia always give a conflicting information, one time you here crypto will soon be legal, another time you hear they want to develop their own coin, and today we are discussing banning and penalty. At the end of the day, the position will be changed. If the worst happens, Ukraine is close bye.
411  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can the market stand this trial on: March 16, 2020, 02:48:10 AM
The market has been very bloody and this could be the best opportunity to fill one's bag but sadly, people are scared of the unknown as per the direction of this Covid-19, and its long impact on the market. Bitcoin has been rising and falling. No one can tell how this pandemic will go but if vaccine comes out on time, we should see a quick market recovery.
412  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Edward Snowden is bullish, BTFD on: March 16, 2020, 02:37:41 AM
I have been telling some friends in my country who wanted to buy bitcoin when it drops to $6k to come over my office and buy, they are suddenly wondering why the huge and sudden drop, if they could get at a lower rate. I am waiting when all these drama will be over, they may have to buy when it hits $9k, people prefer to FOMO than buying the bottom.
413  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First petition to lift CryptoCurrency Ban in Pakistan- your suggestions needed on: March 16, 2020, 02:32:51 AM
A friend in Pakistan complains of government unsupportive moves against Cryptocurrecy, but he still can buy bitcoin, he is not very good with cryptocurrency activities during the famous days of ICO, I found him online and would spend time teaching and teaching him how to avoid losses. I think their central bank feel the citizens of Pakistan don't know enough about Cryptocurrecy, so to minimize losses they place restrictions which is bad for the people, an educational program should have been held to improve the knowledge of crypto as a tool to fighting poverty.
414  Economy / Speculation / Re: BitMEX - Brutal forced liquidation - How price is drop so fast! on: March 16, 2020, 02:26:25 AM
I want to really understand this Bitmex debacle, is it that traders use instrument available on their platform to quickly liquidate their position? or they have a common trade agent advisers who agree to short their position or some sort of troll room to signal sell off and buy in other to take profit and blame it on something?
415  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ARPA CHAIN ⚡ A Privacy-Preserving Computation Network ⚡ on: March 13, 2020, 12:52:37 PM
Transactions can't be double spent. The fact that these transactions are computed off-chain doesn't mean they're not mined. Every transaction on the blockchain is mined and added to the block. With off-chain computation, transactions are verified as well and this stops double spending on the blockchain.
[/quote]

Alright, I understand the off-chain technology. I will keep a close watch on the project.
416  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ARPA CHAIN ⚡ A Privacy-Preserving Computation Network ⚡ on: March 13, 2020, 10:42:36 AM

If one doesn't have to wait for blockchain comfirmation time to spend on the blockchain, won't transactions be double spent?

418  Economy / Speculation / Re: Ex-Coinbase CTO Argues Bitcoin Will Likely Hit $100,000 Using Coronavirus on: February 27, 2020, 01:06:09 PM
Another frivolous predictions. Why don't they predict next month price or 2 months from now price and lets see if their words stay relevant! You predict the price of bitcoin and go behind to sell and when the price dumps, you blame either the weather or the government. I just do my own trade and daily routine and ignore some out of this world predictions. Just want to trade bitcoin and enjoy my life.
419  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people compare betting and investing in bitcoin (in terms of risk)? on: February 27, 2020, 12:19:22 PM
My elder brother who lives in Italy thinks investing in Cryptocurrency is a form of betting, so he had to sell off his bitcoin late December 2017, he made good profit, last year when bitcoin was pumping, he regretted not buying again, he wanted to give me money to help him buy and monitor the trade, since he has a bad notion of bitcoin, I rejected his offer because he wouldn't consider the event of bitcoin correction. In betting you can loss all your money when the odds are against you, but in bitcoin your money can't just be totally loss.
