402  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: The C-bit Bitcoin [XCT] | Elegantly Solving Bitcoin's Looming Blockchain Problem on: February 25, 2016, 09:37:36 PM
The coin is 210 Million, which means 10X Bitcoin. This means that it should
eventually trade at 10 % of Bitcoin's value. So if Bitcoin is at $ 422, this means
that C-bit should trade at $ 42.20.

KeepKey will eventually sell a unit that allows C-bit to store its coins on the unit.

Read the C-bit Mission statement if you really want to understand where this
coin is going and why it was created. This is not your run-of-the-mill clone. This
is a very unique coin, and might very well become the second iteration of Bitcoin.

C-bit IS Bitcoin Core. Understand THAT and you understand C-bit.

That's right. This is precisely why I started mining XCT. I definitely see this coin going places.
Needs a huge patience, everybody know that miners will exchange it to btc (it happens on every coin unfortunately)
Imagine that XCT will cost 0.1BTC.We will see a huge sell pressure from miners to have btc quickly and pay the mining cost with huge profit and it will last to lower than this price but with time (patience) it will stabilize due to the mining difficulty and the purpose of the coin (merchants adoption, real life usability)
hope your project will last long and people will recognize the real value of XCT

seen you're advertising Keepkey product in your website. Is there a possibility to accept XCT in the near future?

anyone know who to contact when doesn't receive payouts for 3 hours from http://alpha.btc-bit.com?

I'd assume the developers, it does appear to be their site. No support link on there?

Might want to find out how many confirms the pool is doing before validating the blocks also. It's possible that it's 200 confirms or something and you're not seeing payout because it's simply taking that long. Block generation time has dropped significantly (close to where it should be) in the same time frame you're talking about.
I have 2 addresses in this pool, one with 500Gh and the other with 1Th
500Gh is receiving payouts avery few minutes
1Th receive nothing for more than 3 hours now
so there is a problem with payouts and not block confirmation matter.

I didn't know you had two works with different addresses and one WAS getting paid. Any way to tell what block number the pool is on? My client is reporting 26,263

I only ask because the block explorer is down. Your best bet might just be this form http://btc-bit.com/contact/
yup ok thank you for the response.I will try to contact them with this form until dev shows here Wink

can you please tell me the address of the worker that is not receiving payouts? as far as we can tell, the pool is operating as expected. no coins appear to be stuck, as they are sent automatically after confirmation.

Can you please provide us an update as to your next moves and when you are planning on reaching out to the exchanges and getting this coin listed ?

Cheers-

Rekt

Exchanges shop for coins to add on their own. It is not our place to harass them. We are working on releasing the Mac and Android Wallet at the moment.
It's not harassment when you are simply asking them for an addition. How else will they know? Also after an exchange picks you up, send a message to coinmarketcap for addition as well.

ok, which exchanges do you suggest we contact?

these would be the first 2 i would try they are the best for altcoins for volume that a new coin has a chance at

my 2 cents

https://bittrex.com
https://bleutrade.com

I second these choices. Exchanges do shop for coins on their own but it is good to get involved with them right off the bat so they can begin reviewing the source code for this coin and get the ball rolling. The more publicly facing exposure we have the more hash we will then have being contributed to the network etc.

I suggest also these two exchanges and you can add yobit to the list.Poloniex is the perfect choice but too hard to accept new coins but if they add you,you will reach the biggest volume in this cryptoland

I have 67h/s on a 4 threads and 8Gb memory.HOdlcoin-qt.exe -gen=1 -minermemory=2 -genproclimit=4 just split my hashrate in two 32h/s with 2Gb miner memory on a windows server  Huh
is there something that i've missed?
how many virtual cores on the server?  is it just 4?
yup just 4
there is an explanation post a few pages back. let me see if I can find it.

You can multiply your hashrate to miningmemory, so your hashrate is actually 64h/s.

That's worse then the 67H/s he got from using just standard settings without doubling anything.

Yes it is.

As an overall average you should see a 10% increase.. this will vary with different systems..
running the miner in default config make me 1 block per day and I already tested with miningmemory concept and it's the same thing
personally i'll keep it in default and wait for a cpuminer

Yeah it's weird that it's so slow. Funny I couldn't get my piece of garbage rig to work even with all that extra time.

Anyways I'm out, couldn't hit it with 1 th/s so your CPUs are gonna get rich!
lol not for too long because i'm out too  Wink

76GH and a difficulty that low.... something weird is going on with blocks being found or more or less not being found at all...
I've found a block with my cpu @ 28Mh/s !!!!!!

The last block was 12 minutes ago is what I am trying to say, the hashrate is way over the difficulty and the network should be solving blocks every second.
yep but it's kinda 10 min per block in this coin
what kimoto he's using?

how with your FIREFLY coin project why you make deur2 ?  Grin Grin Grin
unfortunately there is no "one dev for one coin".Devs change projects like miners for profitable coins and traders for better volume coins.

I'm receiving payouts correctly now and the difficulty is exploding in few hours  Shocked
but why there is this warning about blocks? Is this because the difficulty doesn't fit the actual networkhashN
