Good to hear that there are plans by Jackson Palmer, the original creator of Dogecoin, to push for SegWit and Lightning Networks on Doge: "Have to say, good work @SatoshiLite on recent #litecoin dev. Inspiring me to help push the same with #dogecoin" https://twitter.com/ummjackson/status/865699184036388864That should push the price up even further! I didn't know that he was again involved with the community. When did he return to dogecoin?

DOGE is getting close to its all-time high .
all-time high was above 250 "satoshi", long time ago.... All-time high in fiat. BTC is at its all-time high.

In 2057: BitCoin is now owned by a very few people and hence is highly valuable. There are no circulating btc either, very scarcely we see a transaction happening with bitcoin, every is converted to the new king of crypto, which in the back end is centralized, but people are forced to use only that. Bitcoin use is punishable by death in many states and countries.
this sounds more like the plot of a science fiction movie directed by Christopher Nolan! maybe we can get the 87 year old (by 2057 of course) Matt Damon to play the role of someone who is the "outlaw" and uses bitcoin irregardless of the punishment laws we can call it "return to Elysium" as a sequel. How about that: blockchain now is neural implanted. People make financial transactions, receive their wages, everything right in their minds. You buy a Coke, assuming you have enough funds in your mental wallet, just thinking about it.

You are describing the worst case scenario: The victory of Ripple!

in 1957, we don't have computer and TV flat screen. so, 2057 is like to watch Alien Covenant ... trailer (synthetic human).
we travel to mars in 1 journey to hiking and play golf (Total Recall and Time Machine). and we travel to others planets like Travellers or Interstellar.
but perhaps, we are like in Elysium ... ? Living in an artificial STAR over planet Earth ...
with bitcoin in 2057 .. you can surely build ship.
How about using blockchain to ensure in VR that you are really you and not an NPC?

Let's wonder a little. The year is 2057.
(By the way, Chris Pratt is the POTUS, sorry about that)
How do you imagine yourself with your bitcoins? How do you imagine the World you'll live in related to the cryptos?
Blockchain rules the world (from elections to the way your grandchildren interact with friends) and BTC is everywhere? Another crypto that does not even exist yet is now the king and both blockchain and BTC are seen as a museum piece, such as a steam locomotive?

In one word: future. In my point of view it will take at least 2 decades for a wide spread of btc's knowledge and practical use. But I am sure that this moment will inevitably come.

Guys, anyone knows if the problem with reddit's dogetipbot was fixed? People were talking about a decentralized control of the dogetipbot, which seems a great idea if it can be implemented.
Problem won't be fixed because people lost their money, if it gets fixed will take hell a lot of the time since there were millions of dogecoins involved right there. There wasn't any problem with a bot, it worked fine but bot owner used the funds and sold them. Currently new bot is being developed that will send transactions through block-chain not an offchain transaction. I don't know many details but I don't know how are they going t make it decentralized, would be cool if they do tho. Currently because there is no bots they have made a simple address book, where users type their address and when somebody wants to tip he asks bot for users address, can check this post : https://www.reddit.com/r/dogecoin/comments/6bkih7/bot_help_for_onchain_giveaway/Thank you, I'll check it out. I also don't know how decentralization could be implemented, it seems to me that this was more a brainstorming than a technical idea from the developers.

Buy on the sound of cannons, sell when the violins are playing... I would not buy right now, with all that fuss. I think the price will fall before a new high, so I'm waiting.
