401  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: September 20, 2023, 07:19:07 PM
And yes yet again Jude Bellingham saves real Madrid yet again in the later part of the match, in as much as this was a victory for real Madrid in the addition minutes of the match I believe they have some troubles they should try to fix up soon.

This was their first match of the new UEFA champions league competition this season and they were up against a very weaker team compared to themselves and in Madrid I would have expected real Madrid to wash away their opposition today but surprisingly that wasn't the case. This isn't a good sign of things to come for real Madrid in the UEFA champions league.
402  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Challenges that can deprive/ delay one from hodli for long. on: September 20, 2023, 06:47:25 PM
Some of these aren't challenges like trading, you can still be a trader and still also be a long term Bitcoin holders, I don't think hodling mean you should give up your interests in trading.

As a long term holder patient is most important you can split your investment plans into two one for holding the other for trading, some successful traders actually use profits made from trading to increase the amount of Bitcoin they hold.

403  Economy / Economics / Re: Our future with renewable energy. on: September 20, 2023, 05:43:36 PM
Let's be very honest it would take so long for the world to run on renewable source of energy. Renewable source of energy does not come cheap and also it's not as abundant in nature like our regular source of energy, yes we would have mega cites in developed countries leading the way in renewable source of energy in the coming years but there are countries still developing that doesn't have the capacity to run on renewable source of energy and that's not to even bring sustaining it into the context.

404  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: September 20, 2023, 04:38:32 PM
Very proud of what Barcelona did yesterday, now ten goals in two games and they did not concede any goal in the two games, although it's too early to judge the outcome fro Barcelona in this seasons UEFA champions league but I would give then more ranking after yesterday's game

Today star match in my opinion is between Bayern Munich and Manchester united, Manchester united coming back from two loses to Arsenal and Brighton and Bayern Munich having to play a draw in their last game makes the match more unpredictable and interesting
405  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: All newbies should be aware. on: September 19, 2023, 07:45:55 PM
There are so much risks on joining several airdrops and the benefits to match the risk isn't worth it. Phishing links can be sent in such airdrop emails, airdrops are means scammers uses to entice unsuspecting victims although this is not to say that some airdrops aren't legit, some are legit.

But you can try to limit your risk and get a special email address you only use to join in on airdrops and you make sure to have antivirus, 2FA on your device for additional protection to be secured.
406  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The best way to use fingerprint to unlock your bitcoin wallet on Android on: September 19, 2023, 06:48:40 PM
This maybe a good idea to some but still glitch can happen, technological devices aren't immune from malfunction and glitches, like I said before my friend has at a time used his finger print to unlock my device although this happened only on one trial it did happen.

I have not used the finger print option to Unlock my wallet and I have always felt completely safe, I think it's not much of a special security we should work ourselves over for.
407  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Admin BTC Wallet Special Protection - Development - Admin Wake Up on: September 18, 2023, 06:53:16 PM
Theymos and CO are seasoned Bitcoin enthusiast, they have been involved in Bitcoin for years and as a result have gained so much experience backed by their dedication to the Bitcoin world.

In addition he and the other admins has handled this forum for a long time having a very important account on the forum which many hackers would really set their attention on but there have not yet been any news about their account getting hacked. I really don't know what makes you think they aren't aware that they should protect any Bitcoin wallet in their custody.
408  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Deleting Post can reduce the merit we got? on: September 18, 2023, 04:33:41 PM
The merit you get on your profile will never be deleted from your profile. If you make a post and you get merit in that post, if the moderator deletes your post for any reason, then even if only one post is removed from your total post, your merit number will remain unchanged.  Even if the merit is not deleted from the profile because of the post, always try to post quality and for any reason so that your post is not deleted by the moderator. If multiple posts are deleted from the profile and if the posts are irrelevant then your account may be banned for a certain period of time so definitely try to post good quality from active.
Any post that gets deserved merit would hardly be deleted by moderators, if the post isn't appropriate for the board it was posted then they can move the post but hardly will it be deleted.

In terms of personal decision from the Owners of such post, it is not often you see someone deleting a post that got merit most times is spam posts that is cleaned up, but regardless OP you have gotten your answer by now I guess.
409  Economy / Economics / Re: Use of clean energy in bitcoin mining and its impact on: September 18, 2023, 03:51:51 PM
Cars and industries are leading causes of the environmental hazards in the world today yet we still use cars and definitely use products made from industries in our day to day lives and we believe that Bitcoin mining all of a sudden is our main problem?

Bitcoin mining should not be the big headache to the world in terms of environmental issues although I encourage any alternative cleaner source of energy but Tesla not trying to contribute to the solution is cowardly seeing that they produce electric vehicles, it should be a collective effort because Bitcoin is for everyone and everyone would benefit from it's global adoption.
410  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency beats having faits at every point on: September 17, 2023, 08:35:15 PM
I would not blame your friend so much, he I probably just ignorant about what reasons you have in saving your funds by yourself in crypto-currency, yes there are many financial threats like ponzi (MMM e.t.c) that people have bad experience with so the are more skeptical about saving, sending their funds anywhere that isn't the banking system.

I think a proper enlightenment can really go a long way in educating that friend of yours, also on your part you should also know how to deal with crypto-currency seeing you coming from a region where crypto is ban
411  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some Countries living behind their century, taking a back sit on BTC evolution. on: September 17, 2023, 06:38:54 PM
I know some Ghanaians that are very interested in crypto-currency and definitely open about their enthusiasms on crypto-currency so I don't think those fact are correct

And also there are very few countries that has come out openly to say they accept Bitcoin even the very developed countries hasn't, we have country like Elsalvador and some major's of US cities who has taking the bold steps in that regards.

Well I believe crypto-currency was meant for individuals to take advantage of it, you do not completely need the government to spoon feed anything to you, I have come to discover that the government aren't as concerned about my interest than myself, what I may advice is that those who have knowledge about Crypto-currency should try to enlighten others around them who doesn't.
412  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Belatedly come back with interest in Bitcoin. on: September 17, 2023, 05:43:32 PM

413  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: September 17, 2023, 04:14:49 PM
It's now getting obvious that Chelsea still has alot to deal with after their draw today, Bournemouth is currently not in best position and I was actually very convinced that the blues would come out today on top.

Gradually the league is still taking shape, if arsenal wins Everton today then the league would be between them and I see Liverpool making it to the UEFA champions league spot and probably Tottenham Hotspur and Brighton completing the table.
414  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: September 16, 2023, 08:13:30 PM
Brighton are a big force this season, they play like a team here for the English premier league title. I must give it to them they have a great playing style and even if I would say they can still improve I will give them all their Respect defeating Manchester united at the old Trafford.

Also Tottenham Hotspur is another team I am very excited about now they are doing everything to secure the win, many people thought the team would fall after losing harry Kane but so far it's been good so far.
415  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: percentage of your income you dollar cost average in bitcoin on: September 16, 2023, 06:57:11 PM
Majorly I earn as a freelancer, I am currently not the type that pay attention to getting employed because I understand how the stress is. I have experienced the hard burden of being employed and working for someone so now I am a full time freelancer.

What I do is this I always go with the option of getting my payment in crypto-currency and for now it has always been an available option, so my funds is already in crypto-currency so now in my case is what percentage do I want in Fiat. Since I am from a country that hasn't adopted crypto-currency to the extent of using it as a means of payment I send few funds to Fiat to see me through day to day living but majority of my savings are in crypto-currency.
416  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you manage your money on gambling sites. on: September 16, 2023, 03:37:49 PM
Don't be deceived it's not easy to mange your money in gambling site. But if you instill discipline in yourself then I don't think it would be too hard to do.

My first rule is not to gamble in things I don't understand yet. I have friends that have no idea about a gambling option and they would ask me to help them gambling with their Money, this is very risky because you have no idea about it and can easily be scammed.

Also another rule is that I try to go above my limit, I usually set aside some funds for gambling and once I have finished that I usually call it a day. The bottom line is that you have to be discipline.

418  Economy / Economics / Re: Economics is not fulfilling its true potential as a science on: September 15, 2023, 08:27:39 PM

What do you think about economists, who study the theories of economics and brag about being vast in the study of economics, yet doesn't help or contribute sufficiently to control or stop world economic meltdown?

Economist can only do the much they can do. There is no world order yet so every country is in charge of their economy, and the head of the country makes the hard decision many of which are motivated by the advice he gets from those that surrounds him.

The government appointments individuals to advice them in various sector and if they gave the economy role to a substandard individual then the country may not grow. The countries with good economy worked for it starting from the government economy enhancing plans and programs and also their relationship with the human resources the country has.
419  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will there be a boom again? on: September 15, 2023, 07:52:43 PM
When you pointed out about your savings fo you mean investing all you have? You definitely can't invest all your savings in Bitcoin, how do you intend to survive?

I would advice you act wisely, crypto-currency is unpredictable and Bitcoin is not left out, have a plan you can start with that amount you are good if lost(not saying you would lose your funds) but start small and grow your Bitcoin portfolio .
