BC is in accumulation mode right now. Whales don't care if they pay 18K, 20K, 15K, etc when in the long term, if we keep up the great work, we're going to at least 10x these prices. But with that said, I hope people aren't sitting back reading this forum expecting everyone else to do that for them. If everyone participates and works on something, anything for BC, forget 100K, let's go for a million!  I for example, plan to buy a CK terminal and get one setup in a high traffic area around here. Even if I have to give it away for free, as long as it helps promote BC (and even crypto overall) that's what counts. I encourage others who may have the funds to do this as well. The more locations CK has, the more real world spendable BC will become. I haven't really gotten involved in BC yet, but I will say that passively watching here and on Reddit, it has one of the more active communities. I have hope for it, but I haven't quite gotten to the point where I'm ready to invest. You're in recon mode. You definitiely have to do a lot of research nowadays to determine what will potentially be a survivor. It's been very tough for me to find a coin I'm willing to invest in over the last month or two, other then the staples (VTC, DRK). BC was an easy choice for me as another option. But after that it's required too much watching and moving and just not a lot of comfort. I'd like to not have to daily watch my alt coins......it drives me nuts. |

It's got a lot of nice things going for it. We need dreamers, including a dev that believes in it. This should be an easy bring back to life coin. This beats a lot of the junk that is currently out there. AND our wallet is pretty smooth and kick ass to use.
The marketability of the name is hard to beat, reasonable coint count, a few passionate investors (I'm not), an insanely cool logo. If the community successfully takes over, I think it has a pretty bright future - even without exotic anonymity features - and I would have to buy back my dreams at twice what I sold for. I'm still holding. I moved everything from the exchange to my wallet, so I wouldn't be tempted to sell off. My coins are in set it and forget it mode. |

Alright I kind of want to ask this question, because I can. Weak hands gonna dump no matter what, so let them.
If it turns out that Carsen did in fact cash out and leave this coin (not saying either way, but we have seen how flaky he is). How exactly does the community take over the coin? I'm not sure of the process, and would like to know how all this works. What's the process of getting a new dev on board?
I understand that having other priorities in life require time, but why is so little effort shown towards his own creation? I mean the dude is 21 years old. He works at an AT&T. He supposedly pawned off the dev work on a Chinese programmer, because either he didn't want to, or he couldn't do it. When I was 21 I was up 22 hours a day. I mean if you have a love for something and you want to see it succeed, you make it work don't you? I'd be doing everything in my power to make it succeed. Hell....especially if I was only 21.
No matter what happens, I'm in this coin long term. If that ends up being a stupid decision so be it. But I love the loyalty of this community, the coin itself is a solid idea even without the anonymous stuff. It's X11, only 1.75 million, and a 15% POS, which is a nice reward for keeping coins staking in your wallet. We also have a multipool coming either today or tomorrow, which may or may not do much. And the thing with our community....we have some very smart investors involved that have made a killing in other coins. Obviously these guys know what they're doing, and they have faith in this coin. So I have faith in this coin. Of all the coins recently released (over the last couple of weeks), Dreamcoin has been one of the best constructed and better potential coins that I actually felt good about getting into. There have been a lot of scams and shitcoins, but I don't believe this is one of them. Even if the original dev may or may not have left it.

Yeah, that was a crazy dump. ~65k coins in one swoop. There is actually someone interested in the bounty, he says additional bounties in future will have to be set up for testing and etc. No worries on that as long as he starts the actual coding of DRM into Cryptonote. I think that sounds fair. I'd add 1K dream to future bounties (i.e. the testing phase), if he's interested in receiving DRM. |

I don't care about zerocoin or anonymous transactions personally. That's just a bonus feature.
NO PREMINE NO IPO less than 1.8 million coin 10% annual compounded interest and the name are what i'm invested for.

100% agree with u , I bought DRM@19K and still buying. On the IRC yesterday someone said the dev was gone and cashed out all his DRM coin, this is not easy for me to check what is truth, but thanks myfarm put out the high bounty on anonymous transactions. Don't believe everything you hear. Dev is still here and we have a 2nd dev currently working on the zerocoin project. I picked up more DRMs today and MyFarm is the man for cleaning up the sell wall earlier today. I believe he added 60k+ to his stack. Just confirmed with icecube45 and the Dream Pool is still on schedule to be live on Monday or Tuesday. Pick up more DRMs before the Dream Pool cleans house! Thanks for the update. Good to know. How a coin can die surprisingly fast because of community panic, and after that to get confirmations they were wrong. I'm sorry for those who dumped at low prices.. And too bad community sees scam in everything after APH , AC hidden block and anyother huge % premined coins. Chill, this has a bright future.
There in lies the problem with crypos. It's super easy to get spooked and trust is a very difficult thing to earn. |

Sounds like it is, as Dreamcoin mentioned that date again tonight. So the Chinese dev will be writing the whitepaper? I doubt it. I think the chinese dev was hired for math and c++ prowess as well as the understanding of crypto-currencies all good things in this case I'm fairly positive that the presentation of the whitepaper will be handled by our dev himself That would be my understanding as well. |

Funny how one reply by the dev, and DRM has started to bounce back. That's all most of us needed. Once a day to check in to calm the storm and the FUD is all that's needed. That's not too much to ask.
