The other way around it is if they win the CL this season, and thus get an automatic qualification for next season's tournament, but that feat seems beyond them this season. Having said that, Chelsea signed and will still sign quite a lot of players, i wonder what the atmostphere would be like with all these quality stars if they fail to qualify for the CL. If they had a reliable manager then i would prolly not count them out just yet, but imo Potter isn't the man to take them out of this slump.
