You know D9, if you're so tired about people like me or Jamesonotc, you could just give updates, just saying.
"Are we there yet?" "Are we there yet?" "Are we there yet?" My goodness! My grandchildren travel better than you lot. I don't know why you guys can't read what ∆9 posts, e.g. a couple of consecutive posts here and in a copy of his IRChat here and understand that as he pours more and more capital into this project the more dangerous becomes his position Federally. The man is risking substantial capital investment in a long-term project and you whine about being bored. What are you risking? A few dozen bitcoin converted to CannabisCoin on an exchange in the hope of instant profit? Less? Pfft! As the man has stated a few times, if you enjoy his and the team's driving, enjoy the ride. The corollary, of course, is that if you can not stand the journey you should probably get off the bus. In ∆9's words: "If you think we are moving too slow, then this industry is not for you." "Are we there yet?" "No, just watch the world go by, read a book or play with your puzzles. We'll get there when we get there." Yeah right, the fact is that nobody can tell if you're mooving too slow, too fast or on the wrong path. We can just tell nothing What the "ride" is : -Buy -Wait one year doing nothing because anyway absolutly nothing is told to the "community", not worth spending time on the sleepy IRC -Sell But yeah, i'll "enjoy" the ride . The only thing you got with this behaviour is an angry community just waiting for an eventual pump to exit for ever. That's my case . I'll dump my load and you'll never see me again, like 80% of this IRC channel. Anyway, keep doing it like this, you sure understand well how a crypto-community works And there is your problem in your own words. You mistake the Yes We CANN movement for a simple pump-and-dump crypto crap coin. If you want to play pass-the-parcel and dump valueless coins on some poor bagholder you are in the wrong coin here. You obviously broke the cardinal rule of crypto trading - or any trading for that matter - you did not adequately do your own research. If you knew anything about dealing with government regulations you would have assumed at least 6 months lead time and then started adding time for constructing/converting grow space. That's before test grows required to choose preferred candidate lines for a given location and growth traits. Then the curing and testing of the first batches begins - more time. Only once these have been tested, selected and propagated can the commercial grows even begin. My initial estimate from the pre-announcement last February was for first distribution possibly early 2016, although ∆9 seems to be beating that schedule at the moment. What was yours? My guess is that you never gave any of the above even a passing thought, probably still haven't. If someone were to paraphrase your own statement it would likely be: "Keep whinging like this, you surely know nothing of how the real world works" but that would be rude. Instead rather let me encourage you to actually think about the project ∆9 has undertaken, about the staggering cost and effort it entails. Then decide whether you want to stay with a long-term project or keep playing pass-the-parcel with crypto crap coins. The choice is entirely yours.

Troll season again, already? Time to put out the old "Don't feed the trolls" signs again (Surgeon General warning: feeding trolls can lead to excessive flatulence and ill-humor).

For miners using, or interested in using the KryptoChaos mining pool, pcmerc reports the pool has been corrected and payouts are flowing again. Problem was apparently a SYN attack from 3 offending IPs - a tcpdump confirmed this. Offending IPs were: 86.13.41.222; 88.227.33.203 and; 84.25.161.117. Normal services have been resumed.

CannabisCoin Bootstrap.dat available on bittorrent esotericism has made bootstrap.dat available with blockchain data complete to January 23, 2015. Anyone starting a new wallet or downloading the blockchain for any reason can speed the process significantly by downloading CannabisCoin bootstrap.dat. How to use itBefore starting your CannabisCoin wallet download bootstrap.dat and copy/move it to your CannabisCoin directory , which you can either create or simply start, then stop your wallet: Windows: \Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\CannabisCoin Mac: ~/Library/Application\ Support/CannabisCoin Linux ~/.Cannabiscoin Start your wallet. It should say "Loading blocks from disk" which it will do much faster that it will download them. Once it has exhausted the bootstrap supply it will continue downloading the chain data from the 23rd onwards from the net. On completion the wallet will rename the bootstrap file bootstrap.dat.old. You can leave it where it is and reuse it if you ever need to by simply renaming it bootstrap.dat again. Sadly it seems to have 0 seeders. That's possibly because no one has tried downloading it yet but I assure you both eso and I are seeding Everyone is more than welcome (read: encouraged) to download and seed even if you don't need it for yourself.

Have a nice day everyone!
I'm a newbie in the world of crypto currencies especially in the mining procedures. Can anyone explain how to mine CANN on Linux Debian? Thank you for your time.
These items from the OP might help: CPU MINING in less than 6 minutes! VIDEO http://youtu.be/ILblSSeMAZgGPU MINING in 3 minutes! VIDEO http://youtu.be/L9Hkrsuhc08If you are still having difficulties after that then ask again and we'll see what can be done to help

DO NOT DONATE TO SILLYPOTHEAD'S CANN FAUCET
The faucet is broken, not recognizing valid CANN addresses and worse, it is eating donations.
If Silly is a reader or if someone knows how to make contact please pass on the advice.
(and yes, I have PMed SillyPotHead)

Mybye community should donate few k for promotional purposes...
pr has no point before the first harvest is done imo. That's also truth i'd really love to see it beign done and then start promoting hard, i can even get some posters up with stickers. It is wonderful seeing community members willing to donate funds for promotion although I personally view this as being premature. Rather, let me put forward a different tactic for discussion. For background and reasoning, please read the article 18 States Predicted to Legalize Weed by 2020 from High Times. In particular I refer to: In the report, the firm’s analysts call to attention that while America has continued to put small dents in the prohibitionary climate, the illusion of federal legalization being a “sure thing” has created a veritable donation desert across the country, which is sandbagging the movement at nearly every level. “The continued success of the state markets has created the public perception that nationwide legalization is inevitable. This trend—compounded with the loss of big-name political donors, such as Peter Lewis and John Sperling—has created a political funding crisis,” wrote the study authors. As I said, I think it wonderful that community members are prepared to donate for CANN promotion but don't you think that your funds would be better used in the broader fight first? Actually legalizing marijuana will enhance the value of your CANN holdings even more surely than spotlighting what is still Federally illegal. Please read the linked article and at least consider. Perhaps this might be a good starting point. Thank you.

Can someone explain me how will mjpay working? and how many growers will be include in this kind of selling via CANN, btw how big is potencial of cann-growers in kilos? Are there exist so many medical cann users if we reject farmaco ind.? Legal issues? How authorities will react or not? i don't understand whole mechanism of CANN One good PDF with lots of answers , explanations in details and update in OP will blow this up..also Pictures are more then welcome. For me one good post with mechanics of CANN will help Im looking at this one as a great potencial so please illuminate me! Thanks! As far as I know mjpay is a web wallet but it has not yet been launched yet. As far as mmj use goes, Arizona mmj patients went through more than 9 tons of the stuff last year, see here, tripling from the previous year link. Are there enough growers? Of course, growers will fill the market, as they do for any commodity. Are you going to get a razzle-dazzle promotional brochure or anything else? I doubt it, because the Feds don't recognize States rights to make their own cannabis laws. Certainly CANN has great potential because ∆9 is a man on a mission. He WILL deliver high-quality meds to mmj patients at a reasonable price and he has delivered a rock-solid coin. He has already demonstrated proof of concept with one dispensary currently honoring the CANN peg, he is drawing in more growers to the movement and establishing more grows, mixed commercial and CANNdy facilities and one pure CANNdy facility. Looks like he is expanding into Colorado too. What's not to like? The one thing people have to avoid is expecting ∆9 to make them rich by yesterday. Wading through the labyrinthine regulatory barriers, establishing grows, finding the best candidate varieties for location and desired attributes, propagating, distributing to other growers, actually growing the crops, drying, testing and distributing the product takes time and lots of it. CannabisCoin positively screams 'potential' but it is a long-term thing, operating on timescales far removed from run-of-the-mill crypto pump-and-dumpers. If you choose to buy in then friend, welcome to the Yes We CANN! community If you'd rather not then that's fine too, no one is going to coerce you to buy.

@everyone
I read on the CANN thread about there being Opal wallets containing a remote access trojan that has not been detected by AV & Malware software. It sounds like at least on person on the CANN thread lost coins.
I can't vouch for the validity of the claim but definitely something to investigate if you have an Opal wallet.
Actually CJ, popioleq said his coins were stolen by students who had physical access to his laptop. No trojan or malware involved.

What does "generated but not accepted" mean?
It's an orphan block - which just means someone else generated a block at about the same time which was accepted instead of yours. You don't lose any coin age and will keep trying to mint until successful.

all true, but please tell me how've you figured it out that i am Polish? is my english that bad;) ?
Nothing to worry about with your English popioleq, you previously offered to do a Polish language translation, that's all

I smell a troll...
Read this user's posts and make note of the time gap after his coins went "missing" in November.
I don't think that's quite fair - the writer seems to be Polish, not a native English-speaker and somewhat inexperienced. Who hasn't worried over transactions taking forever to show on BitTrex? Nothing in his history says "scam" to me. Rather it looks like poor security, something all too common in Windows users, unfortunately. Is your password not long and random? nothing is fullproof, but a secure password isn't easy hackable..
Wouldn't help if it was a trojan with key logger. Perpetrator probably has plain text password as well as a copy of the wallet.dat file. From there there is no stopping them.

I am sorry popioleq, it does appear that you have a wallet-stealing virus/trojan. If you have any other funds of any description you should move them to new wallets on a clean system NOW! To answer your question, no, there is no means of rolling back the transactions. All you can do is watch the transactions that take place with the coins in future and when they go to an exchange put your case to the exchange and see if they will block the sale of the coins and possibly lock the account. Keep all documentation and perhaps you may be able to recover the coins in future. It is, however, a very remote chance. Again, I am sorry.

Hi guys,
Can U help me. I haven't been using my wallet for quite long time and wanted to check if everything is ok and during downloading blockchain i've noticed that there has been a transfer today at 5pm my time (which i dodn't make). Does it mean that somebody ckacked my wallet? And if yes how it's possible without wallet.dat file?
money where transfered to: CQnJx2SyqXMg9NWbSvdp4zyAExs3UMn6aR and are still there.
Is there any solution for my situation?
Thanks
@ popioleqHmm... almost a quarter of a million CANN, I can see why you are concerned. First questions, did your wallet balance change? Did you previously move that amount and then immediately close your wallet before it had a chance to broadcast to the network? All we have at the moment is the fact 340 inputs have moved to a single output. Not much to go on. Is it a Windows wallet? Was it encrypted? Please tell us more so we have something to work with. If you don't want to make any more information public you are free to PM me.
