As far as I know people buy for several reasons, some believe the value will of etc will one day go to the moon and make them rich, some buy ETC by mistake thinking they have got themselves the real ethereum when infact its a break away ethereum crypto, and some people want a little bit of every cryptocurrency they can get their hands on.
People do think that the price of ETC will go up and make them rich however, with the price of Ethereum going up and down the price of ETC is really similar to the movements of Bitcoin and Litecoin. IF Ethereum goes up then there’s a really high possibility that ETC will go up as well because they both share the similar concept. The most interesting day for ETC holders would be if the price of ETC goes higher than the price of Ethereum. I am not looking forward to seeing that day happen because people will be very upset if it does. |

Waiting for the launch of this project. I hope Bittrex will still be on board on this project as the CEO is still one of the Advisors. This project should be worth the wait for all the loyal followers. If this project does get Bittrex involved then the project will be very popular among the people that are investing Bitcoin into ICO’s that have no reputable escrows. I don’t really see why the people at Bittrex would stop their escrow unless Storm token is going to start their project ICO at a really late time and I am pretty sure that the people that work in Bittrex have much better things to do other than wait for a crowdsale that can be cancelled again without any notice before doing so. I think that once the ICO finishes the coin will be available for trading on Bittrex. |

I come on bitcointalk  Bitcointalk is the most important website when it comes to researching a coin that hasn’t released yet since the teams of those coins like to talk about the coin before they do a launch. Since most people on this forum don’t really like to talk about what coin they are actually in because they would lose a bunch of money if they did, the team posting about the coin that they are working on allows more people to become interested in making a purchase before the price goes flying. If you research enough, dropping money into an ICO could be a good idea. |

I noticed that coin and the signature for that coin floating around in this forum though there doesn’t seem to have any attachment to me personally that would make me want to make a purchase. That coin is based on ticketing right? Since we have Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies that can make the transaction fees much smaller than they already are then why would we need a new coin for that? It just seems like a lot of trouble just so they can get the event hosters to accept the coin when they can just look up Bitcoin and accept that instead. |

It’s valued because people are willing to pay for it. Since it doesn’t bring anything to the table, however, I don’t expect it to hold it’s value for that long.
And if you really want to run your wallet through Tor just use Electrum.
Although the price of that coin is very manipulated it seems like the people that want to purchase DeepOnion have a specific goal for their purchases. Then again it could be only the team purchasing the coins within those places that are listing the coin because they did get a bunch of money through their dontations. I’m not going to get any DeepOnion coin right now because they price is just too high for a coin that just been released and the people that purchase the coin right now have a high chance of losing money if there was an error in their system. |

why did i get 75 token in the last 2 weeks in the twitter campaign?!!!! i have 1200 follower

The twitter campaign is a little slow for this campaign. There's a bunch of people that didn't get that many stakes for the past weeks because they didn't make a reply or favorite tweets about the Storm token so they didn't get anything for that week. If you made tweets about Storm token by using the hash tag or the similar with the usage of promoting the Storm token then you probably won't get any credit for being in the campaign. The tokens didn’t get released yet and the ICO did not start yet so you didn’t get 75 tokens, you would only be able to receive stakes. |
