401  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [DOGED][POD] DogeCoinDark [POW][Scrypt][privacy-full TOR/i2P resources] on: January 06, 2016, 10:45:01 PM
Lol COGs is not a name for a coin.
Why whould you consider it as the only other option?

On a sidenote I would like COG better.
402  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Brazil has more than 150 stores that accept bitcoin on: January 06, 2016, 10:43:35 PM

Wow this image is one of the best i have seen this year. Having so many shops accepting bitcoins makes me proud.
Very proud that we are part of something that is getting bigger and bigger every day.

This image alone is a prefect marketing tool for bitcoin. Seeing so much adoption is what we need.
If only more webshops would know bitcoin.
403  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: January 06, 2016, 10:39:52 PM
Gambling is considered to be entertainment, but when people start to get addicted to gambling its very bad.

Yes it's people making gambling wrong, gambling being gambling is not wrong.
The key is to play for fun and not for profit.
404  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC reach $600 during the first month of the new year? on: January 06, 2016, 10:38:33 PM
It could be if the price get's in another big pump like it did a few months ago.
My guess is we can do it if all of us hold and not sell.
405  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt coins worth buying on: January 06, 2016, 10:31:59 PM
Today i bought some ethereum. For me it is one of the only cons which is showing good potential.
I also like monero, but ETH is the number 1
406  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][GRE] GreenCoin - A Tradeable Carbon Credit Ecosystem on: January 06, 2016, 10:30:15 PM
lol yeah thats why, for some reason half the coin stake rather than half the actual reward is sent to the foundation. diagnosing and pushing a fix now

thanks for being on top of the fix Ahmed. I know we'll get through this and have a strong PoS coin folks!

One more payout on the old GRE chain is coming tonight.

I am keeping trust in the Dev.
The idea is really good, therefore i invested some money here. Let's hope it was not for nothing.
407  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Technical Problems at Cryptsy? on: January 06, 2016, 10:28:23 PM
I have tried to witdraw my coin and transfer to another market and still pending for five days

Yeah so it seems people didn't get their money back from withdrawals before christmas.
Is cryptsy insolvent now?
408  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betcoin.ag The Real Deal? on: January 06, 2016, 10:26:47 PM
Betcoin.ag is a decent operation and if they are related to WPN or not is not relevant.
In any case the players can play and can cashout, have support and someone to talk to, it should be enough.

BTW - what about all other .ag brands ?

There sound come some more information about these .ag but also other gambling sites.
It's fair to risky having to count on the owners or developers of the site to remain truthfull.

Wasn't magical dice a few weeks ago broke becaues the dev's needed money?
409  Economy / Speculation / Re: $400 will not survive the weekend on: January 06, 2016, 10:24:19 PM
the price is way above 400 dollar mark and it is like that for a while already, its very good to see the price to be so stable and not dropping i think it means that bitcoin has a bright future as an investment

bitcoin has a bright future whether the price drops back to $300 or climbs to $600. that doesn't matter. all current prices are nothing to the eventual price. keep that in mind.

Yes but that's price we expect bitcoin to be.
There is no guarantee it will go there eventually. So be invest what you can afford to lose.
410  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much can you earn with gambling? on: January 03, 2016, 08:28:05 PM
I think it would be better to phrase how much can you lose with bitcoin.

Winning > just money
Losing > money, friends family and even more.

That's way more hurthing then just winning money.
411  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why people give altcoins as collateral? on: January 03, 2016, 08:27:03 PM
I am not in the selling of things yet, but i would defineatly accept altcoins with a good daily volume.
It's as safe at bitcoin so you are sure to get your money back.

I offer some loans sometimes and I only accept big volume altcoins like litecoin, dash and Ethereum.

Most other altcoins I don't accept since they are not listed on my exchange.
412  Economy / Exchanges / Re: is Cryptsy about to fold over??? on: January 03, 2016, 08:20:53 PM
It seems like so. They are holding the customers money. Everyone is complaining about withdrawal issues. It smells like GOX2

GOX 2.0 Yes that is what is happening right now.
Cryptsy not giving a damn about their customers waiting for their hard earned money.

This is the behaviour of thieves.
413  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: January 03, 2016, 08:19:26 PM
It's only wrong if you are playing it wrong.

I play it for fun and stop whenever I think I will lose more.
Or if I start getting irritated. Then I come back 1 day later.
414  Economy / Speculation / Re: What are the chances to reach 1,000$ this year ? on: January 03, 2016, 08:16:55 PM
Somewhere between 20 - 50%.

But it will only happen if we some good news will come. If the only good news will be about the block halving, the top will be around 650 dollar
415  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Biggest/Best Gambling Session on: January 03, 2016, 08:15:40 PM
My biggest win ever was in a 2 hour session.

After 4 bets i was at lots. Then 50 minutes later i had a .6 BTC win.

Eventually I stopped with a 0.35BTC profit.
416  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will happen if there's no price rise for the halfing? on: January 03, 2016, 08:07:10 PM
The price will remain the same (like last time)

But no harm will been done. By february/march we will see some new miners coming out which make it profitable.
417  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: January 03, 2016, 08:03:42 PM
Saving money is most stable.

With investment big or small there is always risk involved. So for me it's about security and saving.
418  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is happening to BTC price? on: January 03, 2016, 08:01:22 PM
Today i feel the price can grow big time.

I see there is tension in the market. Which mean the market will go up big time, or the price will decrease a lot.
419  Other / Archival / Re: should i save btc for future? on: January 03, 2016, 07:59:08 PM
I've bought some bitcoins and i will buy more if i have funds.

It's not if bitcoin will double but when. There is just too much at stake right now.
420  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: paypal or bitcoin? on: January 03, 2016, 07:56:34 PM
Paypal is nothing new, it's just the same paypal.
Bitcoin on the other hand is the next generation payment system.

Bitcoin wins
