401  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: am I wrong ??? on: February 03, 2019, 03:22:56 PM
Always after the bounty campaign ends, the developers of the projects talking to hunters about storing the tokens and not going to sell it so that the price does not fall down

When I started to think with myself a little  ... I asked what would guarantee the survival of the tokens with who would participate in the bounty campaign???
I found that if they add a condition specified in the terms of the bounty campaign that the participant must have at least 20 different types of tokens got it Of the previous campaigns in the past period of not less than 6 months transactions and they must check that on address ( MEW ) so you will find that it will participate Holders only

This condition will stop too ... anyone who tries to register with
different accounts ( altact ) and end up with ways of confirming by KYC

So... am i wrong ?

You are surely right but I don't think price only decreases when bounty hunters sell their tokens. It all depends upon market conditions. In my early days of bounty campaigns in 2017 I saw price rising like anything after bounty reward distribution, I agree price may come down temporarily after bounty selling but it does not mean it will dump. For an example Opporty tokens have not distributed bounty rewards yet but its price has depreciated like anything, so I believe it all depends upon market sentiments.
402  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stop Hodling Coins!!! on: February 02, 2019, 06:12:33 PM
Yes you might think this is crazy but the truth is, you are prone to more risk and uncertainties when you hold. All the price instability is actually sustaining with you holding.

The rule of when the price is moving someone is actually gaining or loosing has more effect on those holding coin.

Over the years I have noticed that trading is still the best! Am gonna share a secret with you.

I make 5% daily profit buying and selling, how do I trade?. I buy Bitcoin with cash and sell 5% higher. I do this daily some times I make more when am able to by the coin cheaper than normal.

In 20days of intensive trading, I make 100% profit. Well, am not very rich because I only like to trade with small funds and I do this to take care of my immediate expenses daily so I don't touch my salary at all cos profits from trades takes care if all these.

Comparing to when you hold, Bitcoin cannot rise above 100% in 20days!!! Forget old days rate, today is reality!

Stop holding coins for years months, that's a lazy and ignorant way to invest.

There are lots of ways you can trade, just find a comfortable trade platform with a very very reliable Escrow service and trade to only trusted people.

Thanks, remain safe.

Even 1% daily can make millionaire if you are confident about gaining it regularly. 5% daily is way much higher, I would like to see you after some months about your trading results. In my trading career I have gain more than 100% in less than 2 weeks but again the problem is uncertainty. Trading is a very hard business to do and if you can succeed in it then you need to do other job/work, sometimes holding coins can give you good profit in some days, so I think its matter of choice if someone wants to trade daily or hold his coins for long term.

405  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can we stop promoting scam project? on: January 27, 2019, 01:28:23 PM
That is a good idea of escrow some percentage of funds raised during ICO, if all bounty hunters join only the project which is having some good payment system then scam ICOs can be stopped to some extent. Crypto market is badly affected due to scam ICOs. Investor lose their money and no new investor wants to invest in new projects and due to this even good projects do not reach hardcap. Investors are the backbone of any financial market and to retain their trust scam ICOs must be put breaks.
406  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So I told my banker about bitcoin on: January 27, 2019, 11:52:33 AM
My bankers told me, I need to help them to create an bitcoin wallet and hand it to them, and they’re too busy to learn it and it’s very difficult to use, they don’t believe cash would die, they deal with thousands of clients everyday who need bankers to create banking account for them, and they know a lot of people, despite having a smart phone, are not good enough to use the phone for simple online banking, they are only good enough to make phone calls with a smart phone, they don’t even know how to send texts to friends, they don’t believe their clients are capable to create their own bitcoin wallet and use it as cash, their clients would always come to them for help with their banking problem, and bitcoin didn’t provide any help as friendly as banker, it’s why it would fail to gain their attention. And more shockingly, they’re talking about their clients as young as 20-30s, they’re not gonna learn to use bitcoin, only a handful of very young people are tech savvy enough to use smartphone to their fullest, the rest of them are just like our grandma dealing with smartphone.

Its not like people using smartphone do not know to take advantages of it but some may be using it for other purposes like accessing social media, GPS services, data communication etc. There might be few people using smartphone for banking transactions but number of tech savvy people is increasing day by day and I hope after some years picture will be different, there would be more people associated with crypto currencies.
407  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Please DON'T pay any taxes on your crypto! on: January 27, 2019, 11:30:22 AM
More and more countries, like Chile or India, are trying to tax their citizen for the crypto they hold.

Please don't pay taxes on your coins.
You really don't need it, unless you are totally ignorant.

It's simple: they cannot prove you have the coins on your PC/phone , so you don't have nothing to pay taxes on, as far as they know.
It's just their attempt to trick the ignorants that don't know about that Wink

Even if they look for your wallet on your PC/phone ,
your wallet data is not accessible to them because it's  encrypted with password  ( uhm.... have you set the password protection on your wallet... right? Wink ).

Of course you are not going to give them the wallet password.

Oh.. they tell you that you withdrawn the coins from an exchange,  so that's the proof you have the coins?
Just say that it was an hacker that stole your coins from the exchange,  not you.
You got robbed, and you don't have to pay taxes on the money that was stolen from you, right?

P.S. for the geeks: use Veracrypt Wink

I think you have misunderstood something, I am from India and indian govt is not charging any tax on any crypto one is holding. I have paid tax from my crypto income this year but that is not on my holding but the amount received into my bank account. One need not to pay any tax for any coin he is holding in India or anywhere as crypto wallets does not reveal the identity of holders.
408  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: for those who trade on forkdelta, please answer my question. on: January 26, 2019, 01:25:03 PM
for those who trade on forkdelta, please answer my question.

For example, i logged in my ethereum wallet to forkdelta and i transfer a token from my ethereum wallet to the forkdelta wallet. and i put that token as sell order. We all know that when you do this, the token will not be in your wallet anymore, so my question is, what happen if your browsing data history got deleted. You lost your token right ?

Browser data history is stored in local PC where as transactions done on any exchange is stored in their database so there is no logic of getting token lost if browsing history is deleted. Trade your tokens w/o fear. I suggest you to keep a separate account to trade in Dex exchanges, you need to login into that exchanges by entering your private key of eth wallet or its password so so for extra precautions one must use a separate eth wallet to deal in Dex exchange.
409  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Huge tokens during Bounties on: January 26, 2019, 12:17:48 PM
I noticed a just ended bounty campaign and a participant got 80K tokens. I was wondering what h will do with that token. I want to know what happens when bounty hunters gets more or huge tokens during campaigns.

80K tokens is not a huge amount if token price is less, even price of 1 cent will make it $800 which is not huge but OK. If bounty hunter is in need of money he will definitely sell the tokens I will not call it dumping, price does not decrease due to bounty participants, it depends upon overall market sentiments.
There is a project call Opporty just check its launching price and current price, they have not distributed bounties yet even they have planned to lock bounty rewards to next 1 year still price is decreasing like anything. If project is good wise man will hold for a good price.
410  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO reached hard cap - 50 MILLION- not listed in an exchange - SCAM? on: January 24, 2019, 03:19:31 PM
I have join a project to which it claims that the team was able to collect 50M in USD but until now they could not be able to list the token in an exchange. Their reason was the team were preparing the platform for almost 3 mos. now. I am starting to believe it when they show something great after sponsoring a certain event to which the name of the project was being flashed in the screen. Is it possible that the team is telling the truth? They want to bring a project with demand so that the token will not be undervalued. What do you think of this project scam or not? I could not name the project for now to protect their reputation.

I do not think its s a scam if team is working hard to develop the product, organizing events etc. Listing on an exchange does make the project successful always, some good projects need time to finalize their launch as there are many hit and trail before launching real product in the maket. Just wait for its launch, some time even team is not able to answer the query of participants/investors in such scenario due to their busy schedule.
411  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should ICOs be regulated on: January 24, 2019, 03:05:18 PM
Considering the high level of scam associated with ICOs presently, many investors are at risk of loosing their investments. Bounty hunters like us are not spared as we may be rendering free services to some scammers and also risking our personal data.

I suppose a regulatory body be set up to audit the ICO process and the  founders, and if anything goes wrong or should the project fail, they will be liable. This will reduce drastically investors risk and also keep scammers away. What do you think?

I agree to this point of regulating ICOs as many scams are happening these days resulting investors are making distance from ICOs and more the pf the projects are not able to reach hard cap. There should definitely be some regulation to control this all but problem is its a bit difficult to make it working in P2P or decentralize network, still I think there must be some way. If such regulation comes in to existence crypto market capitalization will surely be increased.
412  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ico fund raising on: January 24, 2019, 02:57:21 PM
Does the amount of money raised in an ico determine the success of the project??

Is a necessity to do a fund raiser in order to start up a project??

Did satoshi nakamoto and vitalik also started a fund raised??

Not really, the amount of fund raised does not determine the success of the project. I remember one project named Bitclave in late 2017, its hard cap was achieved in just 30 seconds or so but project did not go well. If there is a strong team behind a strong concept then rate of success is more. Vitalik has raised funds for ICO. Currently many projects are turning SCAM this is one concern which needs to taken seriously otherwise fund raising is a normal process for any good company to expand their work area.
413  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to find out a legit ICO? on: January 22, 2019, 02:46:10 PM
Its hard to find a legit ICO. I have came across many such ICOs which look good in the beginning, their team works actively, website is well updated, every query is properly answered and one fine day everyone disappears after they collect a good amount of funds. Personally I think there should be some regulations which needs to be followed before launching an ICO, a big forum like this could work on it.
414  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Beware Bitcoins Email Hack is going viral. on: January 22, 2019, 02:26:25 PM
There is a mail that is being circulated in everyone’s mail box, claiming they have a clip of the user masterbating, and they’ll release it to all friends and families unless he pays money in bitcoins. The mail even goes on to shows ways how one can pay in bitcoins, this mail is one big scam and do not fall for it. This mail is like old wine in a new bottle, last year they send out our passwords, this year they’re sending out fake video claim.

If you have got such a mail here’s what you need to do:

1) Do not reply to it if you have opened it, if you see it just delete it the subject will be Hi perv. I recorded you masturbating! I have captured 'Mail.mp4'! [\b]

2) If you have opened it they’ll send you a second mail, simply delete it.

3) Do not pay any kind of ransom, this is a big scam.

What worries me is that many people are paying them, and those who can’t pay may end up taking their life’s due to sheer embarrassment, it’s my humble request spread the word about this as we all are the targets.

I know many of you’ll will say who’ll pay so see this 3MhAEHCKyh4xsNTvKANR5RKmNd3RpT4KSb people are already paying, this matter cannot be taken lightly and everyone should know this mail is one big scam.

Hackers follow every possible to way to hack anyone's wallet but this one is really funny " I recorded you masturbating ", who would actually believe it.
People with lack of knowledge or in excitement just open such mails and caught in their trap, such mails from any unknow resource must be moved to trash nothing else. Your wallet security is in your hand until you share it with anyone.

417  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I need help - bounty problem on: January 21, 2019, 02:08:09 PM
You should first contact the bounty manager, if distribution is already finished then perhaps it cannot be helped out, if distribution is still going then request your bounty manager to send reward to your new steller addres, I hope bounty manager will not deny it if it is really in progress. Rest transferring coins on any blockchain is almost same I think, you just need to visit and check.
418  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Advice for Bounty participants on: January 21, 2019, 01:50:05 PM
It really hurts when you work for a project for 3-4 months and do not get anything in return due to SCAM, that is really disappointing. Its very hard to trace which project will shine and which project will dump that is the main reason bounty hunters sometimes join worthless projects. Sometimes a small work can give you big reward. I think we should keep on working, destiny might have stored something good for us.
419  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Thank you Bitcoin on: January 21, 2019, 01:34:59 PM

Here's a not so high definition picture of an island i went through last week to keep you investing in Bitcoin and not losing hope.

Bitcoin funded this tour through my hardworks for the year 2018 including my combined earnings through signature campaigns, trading and holding. Those stressful 12 months are all relieved with this wonderful nature. I didnt see any hindrance with the bloody market, thus, finding a way to still earn.

Its not bad rewarding yourself for your hardworks even once a year. Hope i can go somewhere with snow for my earnings this year. Keep investing people !

Update:
For those who wanted another photo, Here is the other picture captured by my partner. This is the view deck but Not a good quality also haha. Resolution problems.

Wow what an eye catching view to enjoy, really good. With you I want to thank BTC and the whole crypto market not for these lovey pics but the amount I earned last year is more than my annual salary that is possible due to crypto market. I was in deep debt before I entered crypto market but this market saved me. Although there were some losses as well but still I hope lots of new people are entering this market and it would recover. I am just holding my bag and chilling w/o taking any stress of this bear trend.
420  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Future looks bright on: January 20, 2019, 04:24:38 PM
Market is in a long bear trend and now it should come back to bull run sooner or later. With the launch of Bakkt, Futures there are surely some improvement in crypto, many good projects are being launched on blockchain. Crypto users are increasing day by day so I do not see any reason that bull run will not come, this is the time to accumulate more and more coins.
