401  Economy / Economics / Re: The Difference Between Staking and Investing on: November 22, 2021, 08:01:06 AM
I really can't get the difference between staking and investing despite been in crytocurrency for almost four years. To me both are simply a form of in investment in a project with the hope of making profits. To other it can mean an entirely different thing.
Lets not make things so complicated, Staking is also same as investing but the return depends on the APY rates offered by the staking sites like Binance, example when you just buy BNB and you plan to hold it for a long time you just invest your money in BNB and wait for a profit if price increase, but if you decided to stake it you can also earn BNB as an earned interest from staking.
402  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ⚡⚡⚡ DAXE ⚡⚡⚡ The First Multi-Chain Certificate of Deposit on: November 22, 2021, 06:46:42 AM
According to your website " The DAXE team is made of crypto experts and AI Industry developers who have come together to design the best store-of-value token to date." May I know some names behind this project? Hex founder is very public thats why HEX is really successful in terms of return of investment and gain trust among many investors. What about this one? I don't know if I can trust and sacrifice a penny if I don't know the team.
403  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [IDO] HODL Valley: Metaverse - GameFi - NFT - DeFi on: November 21, 2021, 05:26:13 PM
On what platform this IDO will happen, need more info about this. Metaverse projects are showing interest on many crypto enthusiast and looks like this will be the next big trend after Defi. Missed on accumulating some cheap metaverse tokens and Im searching the best projects I can join, I hope this is a serious project, Is this project backed by some VC or any partnerships in line?
404  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Optimism & Arbitrum on: November 21, 2021, 04:30:59 PM
Heard this l2 solution Arbitrum months ago but never tried it yet. Im still trying to understand how this work on top of eth, Is this l2 already supported by top CEX exchanges like Binance? I know its already live in Uniswap v3, but according to what I search you have to bridge your eth into arbitrum chain to be able to use but Im thinking it can cost you huge transaction fees on this process?
405  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: MEXC Wallet: Payment Methods on: November 21, 2021, 11:13:53 AM
As far as I know there is no Paypal option for buying crypto via otc in MEXC, they only support P2P and Credit cards. Just want to ask why MEXC? there are many alternatives like Binance and Kucoin for more easier payment methods or you mentioned you have Paypal funds to buy btc then you can try here in this section use trusted escrow for smooth transaction: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=53.0
406  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin's Recent Drop Below $60K Is Not Worrisome, Analyst Says on: November 20, 2021, 05:29:13 PM
If you bought last March 2020 when price crash at $3k level its not really worrying but if you just recently bought at $60k+ and you are not ready for this drop then you might have a hear attack. Losing a thousand dollars in just a week is painful to new investors, am afraid if bitcoin could not break the $60k again and continue to drop below 55k then we might see a new support at 53k, but if we break the $60k then it will be very interesting in the next few days for bitcoin.
407  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it true that Mt Gox funds are going to get released? on: November 20, 2021, 05:14:47 AM
According to some news website, MtGox settlement may happen in the Q1/Q2 of 2022 so we can't expect a selling pressure this year also they are unsure if the payments will be in btc or in fiat currency. People involve in the settlement process for sure may profit from this and the worst if they decide to liquidate it and pay investors in fiat money.

408  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buying the Deep (Bitcoin). on: November 19, 2021, 08:45:58 AM
So excited to see Bitcoin coming down to $59,000 after waiting for a long period of time to see such opportunity to buy more Bitcoin, I just bought 4.5 Bitcoins at the present price which am feeling happy for at last am among the new Bitcoin whales at the moment.

Good entry point, I don't think we will see the price going down below $59k now.

So it was really a good opportunity for you and for others as well. Some of us might not have the money to buy that kind of bitcoin, but we can buy at our own phase and that's what important.

And yeah, feeling good to be some whales and having that kind of amount in your wallet.
Price down today to almost $55k so he did buy too early and currently he lost approximately $15k if he bought at $59k. I hope OP remain calm and not shaking right now but I suggest to just hold and try to DCA. BTC price is way too volatile in this bull market if you are weak hand and dont know how to control your emotions you may lose huge amount of money, whales are too good shaking weak hands be very careful with your actions. Eventually after this dip strong hands always win, Goodluck OP.
409  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH OR BSC on: November 19, 2021, 06:41:26 AM
what do you think will happen once ethereum gas expense goes lower in close few months?
I have been waiting for eth gas fees to go lower but looks like this will not happen soon until eth shift to POS aka eth 2.0. The recent upgrade eip 1559 promise to solve eth gas fees but what happened is the opposite gas fees recorded even higher than before implementation, imagine trading in Dex for $250 fees crazy. Both BSC and Eth have huge userbase but like OP said once Eth fees it goes lower this will actually attract to BSC projects to finally shift to eth again, network security, efficiency and a more decentralized nature of eth will some of the reasons I think why eth will be more dominant over BSC chain.
410  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Decentralized Exchanges Vs Centralized Exchanges on: November 19, 2021, 05:51:22 AM
Its true that whether using DEX or CEX then its a personal choice because we do have different needs and preference.
I agree. Someone chooses DEX or CEX because he/she has a reason, it should be respected. Even CEX may require KYC, doesn't mean it is totally dangerous. What we must avoid is to use untrusted CEX or DEX, the risk should be higher for using them. While for trusted (reputable) exchanges, it is not really a problem to use them even they CEX or DEX. FYI, I used both CEX dan DEX, I have no problem using them so far.
I don't even understand why people hated KYC in using CEXs, --
One reason I think is data privacy, some people don't want to send their KYC details to avoid their private infos leaked into the public. Those CEX exchanges can be hacked anytime and not only your money will be lost but also your private information. Bad actors can able to sell your stolen private datas into big companies like big social media giants are doing, or even those Cex are also selling your user data, well we don't know.
411  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will MEME coin rule the world? on: November 18, 2021, 03:52:06 PM
Lol just ride the hype mate don't take it so seriously, new memes today will not happen same as Doge. Keep holding it is like gambling you might earn huge return or cry later since its only a meme, no utility no usecase. Only few memes has utility like Dex but cant be so sure how serious those projects are.
412  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I not lose money in trading cryptocurrency? on: November 18, 2021, 02:16:26 PM
you need to be able to study and know when it’s a right time for you to invest and withdraw your crypto currency.
This is the hardest part of trading, knowing the right time to buy and take profit, Ive experienced it a lot sometimes I do trades when I think the market is in dip but this is not always work as I expected. Bleeding market sometimes last for days and the only way is to DCA when you have funds left for this situation. Trading is just like a game you need not only by studying it but by being skilled and smart. If you can do this there's a high probability that you can gain more money than losing.
413  Economy / Speculation / Re: Which one gonna come true ??? on: November 18, 2021, 01:02:07 PM
Well from those 3 predictions, Tom Lee looks like the closest one to achieve first. Charts says BTC can be as high as $170k+ according to some TA by known crypto traders but the questions is, Is this happening very soon or in the next 5 years? To me, it possibly can achieve in 2022 if bull run continued until this year.
414  Economy / Speculation / Re: What if $70k was Bitcoin ATH for the year? on: November 17, 2021, 03:38:16 AM
Well, I think $70k is huge milestone for bitcoin if this bull market are ending soon. I hope most crypto enthusiasts already profited much for this amazing bull run ride since October 2020. But I don't think $70k will be the last ATH this year, look at the market sentiment right now its very bullish, this $70k will just be the next support in the next few weeks.
415  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What promising tokens should you buy in 2022? on: November 17, 2021, 02:59:03 AM
Consider buying layer1 blockchain protocols, some of them are Ada, Avax, Flow this kind of projects will be very indemand in the future since most of them competes to solve the current problems like scalability issues. In the next 10 years most industries will now use blockchain technology for efficient businesses so I think accumulating this coins now and holding will be worth it.
416  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Kids into Cryptocurrency Mining on: November 16, 2021, 03:56:05 PM
Wow! fantastic that $32k/month is kinda huge earning for 14 yr old kid, it was like a whole year salary of highest government official in my country. Really inspiring to tell this one into my children to start learning crypto and engage in investment like this while still young.
417  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: are crypto owners naturally paranoid? on: November 15, 2021, 07:49:49 AM
regarding this, I'm actually thinking the same thing. I would probably feel safer keeping my assets in popular markets like Binance, or Kucoin, because even if they get hacked, I'm pretty sure they'll replace it.
Very risky to trust exchanges for holding your coins for a long time, how can you be so sure that they can replace it immediately incase another hacked happened? This two exchanges already hacked before the most recent is from Kucoin, online exchanges are very vulnerable to hacking since they are holding huge amount of money, even if they are mostly updated from security features, if an inside job happened all you hard earned crypto will be lost and possible can't recover anymore and you cant do anything about it.

419  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a token on Bsc that isn' t a scam? on: November 11, 2021, 06:25:37 PM
Keep on searching mate there are actually a lot of legit tokens in BSC just stay always from memes as 99% of them are mostly scam. If you want to find legit projects I suggests to join in launchpads IDOs there are many legit and trusted IDO platforms out there like for example:
https://bscpad.com ,
https://trustpad.io ,
https://launchpad.seedify.fund ,
https://trustswap.org/ and many more.
